Touch the heart and mind of ### 🙏🙏🙏

Your prayer has been heard and the pain within it is clear. To labor faithfully and feel unseen and forgotten is a heavy burden, and it is right that you have brought it to the Lord, for He sees all things and He does not forget your work and the love you have shown.

God is not unjust to forget what you have done. Even when others do not notice or give thanks, He sees in secret, and your ultimate reward is from Him. Whatever you do, do it heartily as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that it is the Lord Christ you serve. This truth can keep you steady when recognition is withheld.

You have asked for clear sight for those in authority over you, and for truth to come to light where there has been deceit and manipulation. It is right to love truth and to ask God for discernment, for He desires truth in the inward parts and He will in His time bring what is hidden into the light. Pray for that discernment and for humility for all, including those who lead, remembering that a title is never the measure of a person. Pray also for those you believe have acted deceitfully, that God would lead them to see their ways and to turn from them, for we are warned how terrible a tyrant is the love of money and of position, and how it can make a person betray what is good for a small gain. When we remember how one of the twelve fell through love of money, we are put on guard not to let that same love or pride take hold in any of us.

While you pray for others, guard your own heart with great care. Scripture warns us to look diligently lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble us, and by it many be defiled. A bitter root does not bear sweet fruit. All that grows from it is bitter and full of hatred. Do not let hurt become a root within you. When we have driven away bitterness and lying and have become kind, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, then the Holy Spirit fills the heart and the way of virtue becomes easier. Search your heart carefully as you would examine a sick person, and cut off the first shoots of bitterness before they grow.

Therefore continue in prayer, watching in it with thanksgiving. The devil presses heavily against prayer, and many grow listless in it, but we are called to be sober and watchful, giving thanks not only for refreshment but also in tribulation, for the seen and the unseen, for all that God allows. Thankfulness keeps the heart soft and protects it from pride and resentment.

May the Lord grant you peace and dignity as you wait on Him, and strength to keep doing good. May He give wisdom and true humility to all in your workplace, and may He keep your mind from bitterness and your heart from hatred.

Let us pray together. Father in heaven, You see every labor and every sorrow. You know the history of this workplace and every heart within it. Grant discernment to see things as they truly are, and give to all a spirit of humility and integrity. Let truth be made clear in Your time and in Your way. Soften hearts where there is pride or insecurity, and lead all to walk in honesty. Protect this Your child from bitterness, fill the heart with peace, and give strength to continue to work faithfully before You, forgiving as You have forgiven. Keep all from the love of money and position which leads souls astray, and make us faithful stewards of what You have entrusted to us. In the name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and Savior, Amen.

Your prayer has been heard and the hurt you describe is real. The Lord sees the work you have done, the loyalty and quiet faithfulness you have poured out from the beginning, even when others have not noticed or remembered. It is painful to feel unseen and forgotten, to feel as though you are walled in with no way out and that God Himself seems distant. The prophet Jeremiah described that same kind of heaviness, as if he were encircled with bitterness and pain, fenced in with stone so his paths were blocked and he could find no escape, even feeling as though God had hidden Himself. If you feel trapped and helpless in your workplace right now, you are not alone in that feeling, and that feeling itself is not the final truth about where God is.

Scripture gives a clear warning to guard your own heart while you wait for God to work. We are told to look diligently lest anyone fail of the grace of God, lest any root of bitterness spring up to trouble you and by it many become defiled. Bitterness is dangerous because it does not stay in one person. It spreads and stains relationships, teams, and even a whole workplace. The example of Esau is given for this reason. When he lost what he had treated lightly, his tears were not tears of true repentance but tears of anger and resentment against his brother. He became bitter and that bitterness marked his life and those who came after him. Ask the Lord to keep that kind of root from taking hold in you. Bitterness can feel justified when you have been wronged, but it will trouble your own soul first and then defile others around you. Choose instead to pursue peace with all people and to stay under the grace of God, taking His Word at face value rather than living by the changing heaviness of feelings. Feelings of discouragement, heaviness and agitation can often be part of a spiritual battle, and we are not to simply bow down under them but to bring them to the Lord and stand in His truth.

God is not overlooking what is happening. In times past God overlooked ignorance, but now He has made Himself known through Jesus Christ and He commands all people everywhere to turn from their own selfish ways to Him. He is knowable, and He has appointed a day when He will judge the world in righteousness through the One He has ordained. That means no manipulation, no two faced dealing, no bypassing of right authority and no false narrative will remain hidden forever. Truth will be exposed in His time and in His way. It is right to pray as you have prayed, that the eyes of the one in authority over you would be opened, that she would be given discernment and clarity to see people and situations as they truly are, and that any pride or insecurity that comes with a position would be replaced by true humility. A title never measures the worth of a person's work. God measures dedication, integrity and the heart.

Continue to pray for those who have misrepresented you, not only that their actions would be made clear, but that they too would hear God's call to repent and turn to Christ, for that is what they most need. And as you wait, feed your spirit and not only your body. Ask God daily to protect your mind and heart from resentment, to give you peace and dignity and strength to do your work well. Your ultimate reward does not come from people seeing and applauding you, but from the Lord who sees in secret and who will reward what is done for Him.

May the Lord keep you from bitterness, lift the sense of being walled in, and give you peace as you trust Him. May He grant clear discernment and humility to the one who leads you, bring what is hidden into the light in His perfect timing, and guard your heart so you can continue to work faithfully before Him. May He soften hearts where softening is needed, expose what needs to be exposed, and let you rest in the knowledge that He sees, He knows, and He will judge righteously through Jesus Christ. In His name we trust Him to do what is right.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and for allowing us to stand in agreement with you in prayer over your workplace situation.

We have continued to bring before the Lord your heavy heart and the hurt of feeling forgotten and unseen despite the labor, loyalty and heart you have poured into this work from the beginning. We have been praying that God would touch the heart and mind of your leader, that He would break through any fog of manipulation and deceit and grant her clear discernment and humility to see people and circumstances exactly as they are. We have asked Him to expose any two faced behavior and false narratives, to soften her heart to remember the genuine help and foundation you have provided, and to protect her from manipulation and lies.

We have also been praying for you, that while you wait for the Lord to move He would guard your own heart and mind from bitterness and give you peace, dignity and strength to keep doing your best, remembering that your ultimate reward comes from Him and not from man as we are reminded in Col 3:23 and that the Lord gives wisdom and understanding as promised in James 1:5.

We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer.

If your request was answered and you have seen God move in your workplace, whether through restored recognition, clarity for your leader, or peace in your own heart, please post a praise report and let us all know so we can rejoice with you. If your request does not seem to have been answered yet and you still feel unseen or burdened by the manipulation around you, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer.

We pray together that the Lord who sees all things will vindicate your faithfulness, bring truth into the light, and fill you with His peace that passes all understanding as you continue to seek Him through His Son, Jesus Christ. We ask all of this in Jesus Name, Amen. May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His Son, Jesus Christ.
