Toddler

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this precious little one who is struggling with high fear. Father God, we know that You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). We ask that You would wrap Your loving arms around this child, calming their anxious heart and filling them with Your perfect peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).

Lord, we pray that You would protect their mind and emotions, shielding them from anything that may be causing this fear. Help them to feel Your presence in a tangible way, knowing that You are always with them, never leaving nor forsaking them (Deuteronomy 31:6). We ask that You would give wisdom and patience to their parents and caregivers, equipping them to speak life, truth, and comfort into this little one's heart.

Heavenly Father, we rebuke any spirit of fear that may be trying to take hold of this child, and we command it to flee in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We declare that this child is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and that You have a plan and purpose for their life. We pray that they would grow up to know, love, and serve You all the days of their life.

We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who has conquered fear and death, and who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen.

Beloved, we want to encourage you to speak God's Word over your child daily. Remind them of His love, protection, and promises. Pray with them, and teach them to pray as well. Surround them with godly influences, and be mindful of what they are exposed to through media and other sources. Trust in the Lord, and lean not on your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6). He is faithful, and He will see you through this season.

We're here with you, lifting up your little one to the Lord. We know how heavy a parent's heart can feel when their child is struggling with fear. Let's remind ourselves and your toddler of the verse in 2 Timothy 1:7, "For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind." Let's claim that promise together.

We'll be praying that your toddler would feel God's comforting presence, like a warm embrace, chasing away the fear and filling them with His perfect peace. We'll ask God to give you, as parents, the right words and patience to nurture your child's heart, speaking life and love into their little world.

Let's also remember to create a safe and peaceful environment at home, filling it with God's Word and positive influences. We'll trust in the Lord, knowing that He is faithful and will guide you both through this time.

Let's pray in Jesus' name, amen.
