to keep job

Beloved of All
Hello, we have lots of trouble at work and my colleagues and I fear of losing our job.I also did some mistakes-please pray for me to keep the job in Jesus Name.

We hear your burden and we are joining with you and your colleagues before the throne of grace in Jesus' name, asking for God's mercy and provision in this difficult time at work. We know the fear of losing a job is heavy, and we thank you for humbly acknowledging the mistakes you have made and for calling on the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father.

The Word reminds us, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7 We also take comfort in knowing we can cast all our worries on him, because he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7 Even when we have fallen short, God is faithful to forgive and to restore when we confess with a humble heart, If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9

We pray together for you now.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up this dear one and all of their colleagues who are facing trouble at work and the fear of losing their jobs. Lord, You know the situation fully, You know every mistake that has been made, and You know the anxiety in their hearts. We ask for Your forgiveness where there has been error or negligence, and we ask for Your grace to make amends where possible. Grant wisdom and favor with employers and supervisors, and let integrity and diligence be seen in their work going forward. We ask that if it is Your will, You would establish their work and allow them to keep their jobs to provide for their needs. Commit your works to Yahweh, and your plans shall be established. Proverbs 16:3 We pray You would establish the work of their hands. Give them peace that surpasses understanding and guard them from fear, and help them to work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men. Colossians 3:23 Let them seek first Your Kingdom and Your righteousness, trusting that all these things will be given to them as well. Matthew 6:33 Provide for them and their families, open doors no man can shut, and let this trial draw them closer to You. We ask all this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus, Amen.

We encourage you to continue to bring your requests to God daily with thanksgiving, and to walk in honesty before your employer. If there are mistakes that need to be openly acknowledged, do so with humility and a willingness to correct them, for the Lord honors a truthful and diligent spirit. Whatever you do, do it as unto the Lord, with excellence and faithfulness, even in small things. Trust that God is your ultimate provider. Even if circumstances remain difficult, He promises that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28 Keep praying for your colleagues as well, that God would sustain them and that your workplace would experience His peace. We are standing with you, trusting that God hears and will answer according to His perfect will and love.

We hear how heavy this season at work has been for you and your colleagues. Carrying the fear of losing your job while also replaying mistakes is exhausting, and we are grateful you reached out for prayer.

It takes humility to name that you made some mistakes. That honesty matters, both before God and at work. It does not define your whole contribution, and it can become a place where growth happens.

One steady step that often helps in a tense workplace is to get clear on what is actually in your hands. You might take a quiet few minutes to write down what went wrong, what you have learned, and what you would do differently. If you have a supervisor you can speak with calmly, a brief, honest conversation owning what is yours and asking what they most need from you going forward can build trust, even when the larger situation is uncertain. Keep tending to the daily work faithfully and keep a simple record of what you complete.

We are praying for you and for your colleagues in this uncertainty.

Father, we bring our brother or sister to You in Jesus name. You see the pressure at work and the worry about what comes next. Give wisdom for each conversation and decision, grace to own what needs owning, and peace as You lead. Provide for daily needs and open the right next steps in Your will. Amen.

Your request concerning your work has been heard and we join with you in prayer before the throne of grace, together with your colleagues who share this heavy burden and fear.

It is a blessed sign of the work of grace in the heart when a person begins to consider God in the midst of trouble. You have honestly confessed that you have made mistakes, and what man is there upon the face of the earth who does not make mistakes. We all err and come short, and we are apt to judge the Lord by our feeble sense and to imagine that He will deal with us as a harsh master would. Yet our God is not as we are. He is holy and true and perfect, and when we see this we abhor ourselves and repent, and we find it easy to put our trust in Him. Remember Job, who was tried and brought among the ashes, and it is written of him, in all this Job sinned not, nor charged God foolishly. The Lord meant to make an admirable man still better, and He will do the same for those who humble themselves before Him.

There is but one source of supply for grace and that source is God Himself. He gives grace and He gives more grace, freely and sovereignly, not because we have earned it but because it pleases Him to bestow it. He finds the way by which His grace can come to men, and He directs the measure and the manner of it in wisdom and prudence. Your fear asks, will He plead against me with His great power. Faith answers, no, but He will put strength in me. He has seen your ways, He knows your unworthiness and your mistakes, and yet it is the glory of His grace that He pours it upon the utterly undeserving. All along, from the pit of sin to heaven's gate, the whole road is paved with divine grace, and grace shall crown the work.

Let us pray together.

O ever blessed Jehovah, Father of mercies, we come to You through Jesus Christ alone, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved. We bring before You this child of Yours and all those who labour alongside and fear for their daily bread. You know the troubles at their workplace, You know every mistake that has been made, and You have seen every anxious thought. Forgive what is amiss, for Your free grace alone can pardon, and cleanse the conscience through the blood of Your Son. In Your sovereign goodness, if it be Your will, preserve their employment and grant stability to their workplace. Give wisdom to those in authority and grant favour where there has been failure. Put strength in Your servants, that they may do their work heartily as unto You, with diligence, honesty and humility, confessing faults where confession is due and amending what can be amended. Keep them from sinning by despair or by charging You foolishly, and let this trial, whether it ends in keeping or in losing, be overruled for their good and for Your glory. We ask this in the name of Jesus, who loved and gave Himself for us. Amen.

Be diligent in what your hands find to do, be truthful with your masters concerning any mistakes, and rest upon the Lord who steers the ship better for tempestuous waves. Trust in the Lord and do good, rest on His grace and hope in His mercy, for His store of grace is not diminished and His bounty is not exhausted. May He give you burning grace for burning moments, and may you find that whether in keeping the position or in being led elsewhere, His grace lays the foundation and His grace shall crown all the work through everlasting days.
