Beloved of All
I pray today for my friend battling colon cancer and leukemia; she's one of the biggest givers I know. Help her to heal and stick around as long as possible because so many people are impacted by her being here. Fill her life with joy and love and support daily. I pray for my friend whose sister had brain surgery. I pray first for her sister's recovery to be swift and her symptoms they were treating to be cured. I pray that my friend and her family be surrounded with love and support during this time of healing. That they are not alone and met with tenderness as they worry and get closer in their faith supporting the youngest member of their immediate family. I pray dearly for my friend's happiness too with the new person she is seeing. I pray her prayers are lifted up to the heavens and answered. I pray for my Dad and his new Vagus nerve device to cure his stomach pain and anxiety. I pray God is in his everyday healing him as he is suffering a lot in the bathroom. I pray my mom gets stronger, and our family can make some more memories soon. I pray too to find my future wife, or if I already met her, that we can start spending time together. God, I want a long life full of memories with this woman. A family of our own. I trust you lord and your timing but admit I'm frustrated thinking I've missed so much time with her already. God come give me wisdom, discernment, clarity, and alignment to your will each day. Through Jesus's name. Amen.

We are grateful you brought so many loved ones before the Lord in such a personal way. You are carrying a lot at once, and it shows how deeply you care that you are praying not just for healing but for joy, daily support and tenderness around each person.

When illness stretches on, like cancer or recovery from brain surgery or ongoing stomach pain, the days can feel very up and down. Progress is often slow and the whole family feels it in disrupted sleep, worry and extra caregiving. It makes sense you would feel both hopeful and heavy, and that waiting for your own future wife and family would bring both trust and frustration. Both can be true at the same time as you walk with God.

One small way to keep from feeling scattered is to keep a short list with each name and the one request closest to your heart for them, and to let each one know this week with a brief call or note that you are praying. For your dad and mom, we encourage you to keep praying while staying closely connected to their medical providers for ongoing care and guidance.

Father, in Jesus name we lift to you the friend facing cancer and leukemia, the sister healing from brain surgery and her family, this dad with ongoing pain and this mom needing strength, and our brother who longs for a wife and family of his own. Surround each one with your presence, with daily love and practical help, and give wisdom, clarity and peace as they take the next steps you have for them. Amen.

We join with you in lifting up those you love before our Heavenly Father and we thank you for bringing these heartfelt burdens to Him through Jesus' name, for it is only through Him that we have access to God and confidence that He hears us. John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.

We are moved by your love for your friend battling both colon cancer and leukemia. We know the Lord sees her generous heart and the many lives she has touched. We pray for His healing hand upon her according to His perfect will and for His joy and comfort to surround her daily. We are reminded that He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds. Psalm 147:3 and that He has promised But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. Jeremiah 30:17 We ask that whether through miraculous healing or through the skill of physicians and treatments, she would feel His presence, know she is deeply loved, and be upheld by the community that needs her so dearly. We also pray for the friend whose sister had brain surgery, that the Lord would grant a swift and complete recovery and that the symptoms they sought to treat would be fully cured. We pray that your friend and her whole family would not feel alone in this time of worry but would be met with tenderness, practical support, and a deepening of faith as they care for the youngest member of their immediate family. We pray the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:7

We lift up your father and his new vagus nerve device. We pray that God would use this to bring relief from his stomach pain and anxiety and from the suffering he endures daily. We pray for healing in his body and for calm in his mind and spirit, for we know that in nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. Philippians 4:6 We ask the Great Physician to be in his every day, restoring strength and bringing comfort. We also pray for your mother that the Lord would strengthen her and renew her, and that He would grant your family more precious time together to make memories that glorify Him. Bless Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases. Psalm 103:2-3

We hear your prayer for your future wife and we rejoice that you desire marriage as God designed it, a lifelong covenant between a man and a woman. Therefore a man will leave his father and his mother, and will join with his wife, and they will be one flesh. Genesis 2:24 We strongly affirm this desire for a family of your own and for a long life full of memories together. We encourage you as you wait and seek to pursue courtship with the goal of marriage to a fellow believer in Christ, for Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? 2 Corinthians 6:14 and Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled: but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers. Hebrews 13:4 This means keeping yourselves pure and honoring God with your bodies before and within marriage. We also lift up your friend and the new person she is seeing, and we pray that her relationship too would be centered on Christ and aligned with biblical principles, looking toward godly marriage if it be His will, rather than simply companionship, and that both of you would seek spouses who will help you grow closer to the Lord.

We understand your frustration as you wait and feel you have missed time with your future wife already. We encourage you to trust the Lord's perfect timing, for Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6 and Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Psalm 37:4 We pray as you asked for wisdom, discernment, clarity and alignment to His will each day, and we claim the promise that But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him. James 1:5

So together we pray, Father in heaven, we bring before You our dear sister battling cancer, our friends walking through brain surgery recovery, a father in pain and anxiety, a mother in need of strength, a friend in a new courtship, and our brother who longs for his future wife. We ask for healing where You will to heal, comfort where there is suffering, peace where there is anxiety, and hope where there is waiting. Guide each step, guard each heart in purity and faith, and let every life represented here be a testimony of Your grace and love. Make Your will clear and give us the courage to follow it. We ask all of this in the mighty and saving name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, Amen.

We were moved reading how many people you are carrying to the Lord right now. Your friend facing both colon cancer and leukemia, your other friend's sister recovering from brain surgery and her whole family worrying around her, your dad with his new vagus nerve device and daily stomach pain, your mom as you hope for more strength and more memories together, and in the middle of all that, your own deep longing for a wife and a family of your own. It is a lot to hold, and your care for each of them comes through so clearly.

It makes sense that you feel frustrated as you wait. Wanting a lifelong marriage and family is a good desire, and trusting God's timing while wondering if you have already missed time with her can feel lonely. Continuing to ask Him each day for wisdom, discernment and clarity the way you are is a faithful way to stay close to Him in that waiting.

One small thing that may help is to keep the list you just prayed so thoughtfully and use it to check in when you can, a short text or call to let each person know you are still praying for them. It helps them feel not alone and helps you notice small encouragements along the way. And alongside prayer for healing, we encourage you and your loved ones to stay closely connected to their doctors and care teams.

Father, we lift these dear people to You. Bring daily comfort and support to our brother's friend who is ill and to the sister healing from surgery and her family, ease his dad's suffering and strengthen his mom, and give our brother peace and clear direction as he waits. Lead him day by day in Your will. In Jesus' name, amen.

We join you in bringing these many burdens before the throne of grace, and we thank you for the tender love you show to those the Lord has placed around you.

We pray with you for your dear friend who bears the heavy affliction of colon cancer and leukemia. Only God knows what shall be on the morrow, for there is no past and no future to His all seeing eyes, and He dwells in the present as the great I AM. We ask, if the Lord wills, that He would be pleased to grant her healing and length of days, and that whether He restores her body or sustains her through suffering, He would fill her life with joy and love and daily support from His people. May she know that to be kept by grace is to have His law written upon the heart, and that such a heart preserves the writing even to the last expiring moment. We pray that Christ, through whose blood alone we are cleansed from all sin, would be her comfort and strength.

We pray also for the sister who has endured brain surgery and for the family who watches and waits with her. We ask the Lord, if it be His will, to grant a swift recovery and to cure the symptoms that led to the surgery. We pray that your friend and all her family would not feel alone, but would be surrounded with tenderness and true support, and that in this trial they would be drawn closer together and closer to Christ in faith, especially as they care for the youngest member of their household. May they learn the holy art of waiting upon the Lord, for blessed are all they that wait for Him, and they that wait upon Him in hope shall renew their strength.

We pray for your friend who is seeing someone new. We do not ask God to simply bless every desire of the heart, for our thoughts are often contrary to His thoughts, but we pray that she would seek first His will and His glory. We ask that the Lord would give her wisdom and discernment, that any relationship she pursues would be kept in purity and honour, according to His good design of marriage as a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, where love and the union of life belong. May she be kept from following the devices of her own heart, and may her happiness be found in holiness and in walking according to what is written upon a renewed heart.

We lift up your father and his suffering with his stomach and anxiety, and the trial of the vagus nerve device. We pray that God, who governs all things by His sovereign will, would be in his everyday healing, easing his pain and granting relief, and giving peace to his mind and body. We pray for your mother, that the Lord would make her stronger day by day, and that He would grant your family more time together and sweet memories that declare His wondrous works. We are to wait upon God as a servant waits upon his lord and as a traveler waits upon his guide, trusting that no harm can come to those who bow to His sovereign sway.

And we pray with you concerning your desire for a wife and a family of your own. It is right and good to desire marriage as God ordained it, and to long for a long life of faithfulness with one woman in the covenant of marriage. We hear your trust in the Lord and also your honest frustration in waiting. Remember that counting on the future without recognizing God is folly, but to say, if the Lord wills, we shall live and do this or that, is wisdom. We pray that the Lord would give you wisdom, discernment, clarity and alignment to His will each day, that He would keep you in purity while you wait, and that in His perfect timing He would lead you to the one whom you may love and cherish as Christ loves His church, if it be His will to grant you that gift. May He teach you from your youth and make you His pupil, that you may in turn declare His wondrous works.

We commit all these prayers through Jesus Christ our Lord, for there is no other name by which we are saved, and no other blood by which we are cleansed. May the Lord do what is best, and may you find your comfort not in the answer you desire, but in the God who waits to be gracious to those who wait for Him. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your prayers have been received with thanksgiving, and I join you in bringing them before our merciful God who hears those who call upon Him through His Son.

I join you in praying for your friend who battles colon cancer and leukemia. She is known as a giver, and we ask the Lord who is the giver of all life to have mercy upon her. We pray for healing according to His will, for strength in her body, for joy and love and daily support to surround her, and above all that she would know the comfort of Christ in whom our life is hidden. We pray also for your other friend whose sister has had brain surgery. We ask God to grant a swift recovery and to remove the symptoms that troubled her, and to surround your friend and all their family with tender care, so that they are not alone in their worry but are upheld in faith and love as they care for the youngest in their home.

For your father we pray concerning his new vagus nerve device and the suffering he endures with stomach pain and anxiety. We ask the Lord to grant wisdom to those who care for him, to ease his affliction, and to be present with him each day in his distress. For your mother we ask for renewed strength, and for your whole family that God would grant you time together and grace to make memories that honor Him.

For your friend who is seeing someone new, we pray for her true happiness. True happiness is not found in following the wisdom of this world, which often seems wise but is foolishness with God, but in walking in the wisdom that comes from above. We pray that God will guide her with purity and discernment, that she will seek His will above all, and that any relationship she pursues will be ordered toward His good design for marriage as a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, where intimacy belongs within that covenant alone. We do not ask God to bless what is outside His will, but we ask Him to lead her into what is holy and good, to give her clarity, and to draw her closer to Christ where full joy is found.

And for you as you long for a wife and a family of your own, your desire for a long life of faithful love is a good desire. God is glorified when His children seek marriage in holiness. As it has been taught, a young man does well to keep himself from fornication and disorderly living and to seek a chaste and wise wife who will be a help and a steady rein for life. I pray that God will give you what you asked, wisdom, discernment, clarity, and alignment to His will each day. Trust His timing, even in your frustration that time feels lost. He foreordained all things before the world for His glory and your good. Remain diligent in prayer, in purity, and in a life worthy of your calling, trusting not in your own understanding but in Christ alone through whom alone we have salvation and access to the Father.

May the Father be glorified as you confess Jesus Christ is Lord, and may He grant you and all those you love to be comforted, strengthened, and kept in His grace. We ask all these things in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
