Beloved of All
Your words of thanksgiving bring joy, and I rejoice with you in what God has done. To know that your body is becoming calm and relaxed and that you sense His healing hand at work inside you is a wonderful reason to praise Him. It is a beautiful truth that God hears our prayers, every word we speak to Him, even though we are so small and He is so great. That He listens and responds is itself cause for great praise.
The Scriptures call everyone who has breath to praise the Lord. We are to praise Him in His sanctuary and under the heavens that show His power, to praise Him for His mighty acts and for His excellent greatness, for His goodness and mercy and love that endure forever. That praise can be expressed in many ways, with voices and instruments, with trumpets and harps and strings and cymbals, with singing and with quiet thanksgiving that bursts forth from a full heart. Your praise fits right into that call. You are giving Him the sacrifice of thanksgiving, the fruit of your lips, which the Bible says is pleasing to Him.
We should always be careful to give God the glory for the work He does in our lives. You remember that ten men once came to Jesus to be healed, and all ten were healed, but only one returned to thank Him. You are choosing the better part, to return with thanks and to declare His works with rejoicing. That is what God desires, that we not only receive from His hand but that we openly tell what He has done.
Healing comes in different ways. Sometimes it is immediate and miraculous, sometimes it is gradual, but every true healing is from the Lord. Whether He lifts a burden in a moment or brings restoration step by step, it is His divine work in our bodies and minds and spirits. We do not always understand why or how He heals, but we can trust His wisdom and praise Him for His mercy that is as high as the heavens above the earth.
Continue to lift your heart in praise to Him. Thank Him for hearing you, for His grace and goodness to you, for making you His own through Jesus Christ and calling you to be His. Let your life be filled with continual thanksgiving, and tell others of His wonderful works, so that they too may hear and give Him glory. May the Lord keep His hand upon you, complete the good work He has begun in your body, and fill your heart and life with His peace as you keep praising Him.
