Father, we thank You for these who've been praying for grace to witness in the face of trials and opposition, (1 Thes 2:1-13, Whole Book of Acts, Rev 1:1-22:21). We thank You for wide doors for effective service being opened despite adversaries, 1 Cor16:9, for divine appointments with housemates, in shopping centers, in cell groups, cell blocks, in churches, street corners, restaurants, with fathers, mothers, stepmothers, children, family, friends, enemies, wherever the Spirit blows, Jn 3:8, Give us what to say and HOW to say it, Jn 12:49.

Your arm is NOT too short that it cannot save, Isa 59:1, Numbers 11:23. Remind ALL that have ever heard, especially recently (and remind us, kindly) of our humanity, sin, the gospel of free grace by the bloody death of Jesus on the cross for our sakes, His death for payment of sin, Rom 5:23, with analogies of bills being paid, therefore nothing owed, it is finished, Jn 19:30, His resurrection, His appearing to many witnesses, His ascension, and sending of The Holy Spirit, Acts 2:32-33, and the correct response of repentance and continued discipleship, Jn 8:31-32.

This Jesus who was sinless BECAME sin for us, 2 Cor 5:21 (was judged to death as The Lamb, Jn 1:29, to break the curse of sin, Gen 2:17, John 11:50-51, Gal 3:13-14) so we could be made the righteousness of God on His behalf, as His ambassadors, 2 Cor 5:20, through the Word of reconciliation He's committed to us, 2 Cor 5:19.

Thank You for those who've heard, we've prayed with and for, and WE trust YOU Holy Spirit to continue to do His work until the day of Christ Jesus, Phil 1:6. Keep them and us all from the evil one, Jn 17:15, who attempts to snatch away the seed of the Word, Mk 4:14-15. May prayers render him as being bound, and having his goods plundered, Mk 3:27, as the late evangelist said, "we plunder hell to populate heaven."

Water the seed of the word and let them grow, provide more chances to share and grant us all full faith and repentance, turning from all sin with grief and hatred of it, wholly endeavoring to new obedience, trusting Jesus who has become for us spiritual and practical wisdom, active and passive righteousness, immediate AND continued sanctification, and initial and final redemption, 1 Cor 1:30. We come before the throne of grace with hearts full of gratitude for the powerful truths you’ve laid before us, Father. Your Word is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, and we stand in awe of the gospel, the foolishness of the cross that is the very power and wisdom of God for salvation to all who believe. We thank You for the gift of faith, which comes by hearing Your Word, and for the grace that justifies the ungodly through the finished work of Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, and we declare that salvation is found in no one else but Jesus, for He alone is the way, the truth, and the life.

We lift up those who are faithfully sowing the seeds of Your Word in the face of trials, opposition, and even persecution. The fields are ripe for harvest, and we ask that You open wide doors for effective service, just as You did for the apostles. Give them boldness and wisdom to speak Your truth in love, whether in homes, marketplaces, prisons, or places of worship. May they not grow weary in doing good, for in due season they will reap if they do not faint. We pray that You would remind them, and us, of the simplicity and power of the gospel: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that He was buried, and that He rose again on the third day. May we never stray from this foundation, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes.

Father, we also pray for those who have heard the gospel, whether recently or long ago, and have not yet responded in repentance and faith. We ask that You would soften their hearts and open their eyes to see their need for a Savior. Remind them of their sin and the judgment that awaits those who reject Your Son, but also remind them of the immeasurable riches of Your grace in Christ Jesus. May they understand that the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. We pray that they would not harden their hearts but would turn to You, for You are near to all who call upon You in truth.

We also recognize the schemes of the evil one, who seeks to snatch away the seed of Your Word before it can take root. We stand against him in the authority of Jesus’ name, declaring that he has no power over those who belong to Christ. We bind his influence and ask that You would send Your holy angels to guard and protect those who have heard the gospel, shielding them from deception and preserving them until the day of salvation. As it is written, “He will give His angels charge over you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won’t dash your foot against a stone.”

Father, we ask that You would water the seeds that have been planted, causing them to grow and bear fruit. Grant those who have heard the gospel a hunger and thirst for righteousness, that they may desire the pure milk of Your Word like newborn babies. May they grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, becoming rooted and grounded in love. We pray for opportunities for them to hear the gospel again and again, until the day they surrender their lives to You. And for those of us who have already believed, may we never grow complacent but continue to walk in repentance and faith, turning from all sin and endeavoring to live in new obedience.

We thank You, Lord, for the promise that He who began a good work in us will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus. We trust in Your faithfulness, knowing that You are able to keep what we have committed to You until that day. May we all be found faithful, ambassadors of reconciliation, proclaiming the message of the cross with boldness and love. And may Your kingdom come, and Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.

We are grateful for the burden you carry for those who have heard the gospel recently, and for your faithfulness to keep praying for them after the conversation ends. It is a beautiful thing to want to see revelation take root, hunger grow, and the seed watered and protected.

What encourages us in your prayer is that you already know where the growth comes from. We can plant and water, we can love people and speak honestly when doors open in homes, workplaces, and churches, but only God gives the growth. That takes pressure off in a good way. Spiritual growth is usually slow and lifelong, with highs and lows, not a single dramatic moment. Our part is to stay faithful in the simple, steady means God uses, staying in His Word, praying for others and for ourselves, walking with other believers, and depending on the Holy Spirit to do what only He can do.

One gentle next step that may help is to keep a short, private list of the names and faces God has put on your heart, those you mentioned from recent conversations, and bring them before the Lord regularly by name. Then as He provides natural next moments, you can follow up with a word of encouragement or an invitation to talk more, trusting His timing for whatever growth He will bring.

Father, thank You for each person who has heard Your good news. We ask You to keep them, give them hunger for truth, guard them from the evil one, and draw them closer to Yourself. Give our friend wisdom and courage for the next conversations You open, and peace to trust You with the outcome. In Jesus' name, amen.

We join you in thanksgiving before the throne of grace for the wisdom and power of God in the preaching of the cross. That which the world counts foolishness is the very power of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth, and we praise Him that faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God, and that salvation is the gift of God by grace through faith, not of works, lest any man should boast.

We pray with you for all who have heard the gospel of Jesus Christ, whether in recent days or in years past, that the Lord would grant unto them wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Himself, that the eyes of their understanding may be opened to see their need as sinners and to see Christ as the sinless Lamb who became sin for us, who bore the curse and paid the debt in full upon the cross, crying It is finished, who rose and appeared unto many witnesses, who ascended and hath sent the Holy Spirit according to promise. We ask that the seed sown may be watered, for one planteth and another watereth, but God giveth the increase. Grant, O Lord, a holy hunger as newborn babes desire the sincere milk of the word, that there may be growth in faith, for faith doth grow as a living seed under proper care, and without faith it is impossible to please Thee.

We entreat the Lord for protection from the evil one who cometh to snatch away the word sown in the heart and who cometh to steal and to kill and to destroy. Keep them, O Father, from the evil one, as our Lord prayed in John seventeen, and let the strong man be bound and his goods be spoiled, that hell may be plundered and heaven populated. We pray for angelic keeping according to Thy promise, for Thou givest Thine angels charge over Thy people to keep them in all their ways, and they are ministering spirits sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation. We ask not for keeping in forbidden paths or ways of willfulness, but in appointed ways, in rough ways and smooth ways alike, for in all our ways we have need of such guarding. How great is the interest of angels in the gospel of redemption, and shame upon us if we have less pity for mankind than they have, for nothing can save sinners but the gospel of Jesus.

We trust Thee, Holy Spirit, to continue Thy work until the day of Jesus Christ, to keep and to sanctify and to cause the word to bear fruit to Thy glory, who hast invented the plan of salvation and givest us any ability to do anything of real value apart from Christ we can do nothing.

We join you in thanking God for the foolishness of the cross which is the wisdom and power of God to those who are being saved. We praise Him for His plan of salvation, for the blood of Jesus shed for our sins, for His resurrection and ascension, for the gift of the Holy Spirit, and for the free gift of righteousness received by grace through faith.

We pray with you for everyone who has heard the gospel recently and in days past. We ask the Father to grant revelation and wisdom in the knowledge of Christ, that He would open their understanding to see their need, their sin, and the finished work of Jesus who became sin for us though He knew no sin, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. We pray that faith would come by hearing and hearing by the word of Christ, that what was sown would be watered, and that God Himself would give the growth, for apart from Christ we can do nothing of real value. Grant to each hearer a true spiritual hunger as newborn infants for the pure milk of the word, and a willingness to continue in repentance and discipleship, turning from sin with grief and hatred for it and walking in new obedience.

We ask for protection for the seed that has been sown. Keep these hearers and keep us all from the evil one who seeks to snatch away the word and to steal and destroy. We pray that the shield of faith would be held firm, quenching his darts, and that every heart would be founded on the rock of Christ's teaching so that when rains and floods and winds of accusation, loss, and temptation come, they will not be moved.
