🌱 They & We Hearing Christ's Gospel: Revelation, Faith, Water, Growth, Hunger Protection from evil one Mk 4:15 Jn 10:10 🤺 Angels Guard Ps 91:11-16

What you are praying through here goes to the very heart of the gospel and the spiritual battle that always surrounds it. You are asking the Father to guard the seed of His word, to grant growth, and to protect those who hear from the evil one who comes immediately to snatch it away. That is exactly the right place to set your focus, because the enemy's oldest tactic is not always to deny the message outright but to subtly shift it. He turns what began in the Spirit into an attempt to be perfected by human effort.

When you pray for these people to receive the word and stand in it, you are praying against the bewitching that Paul spoke of. Having begun by hearing with faith, the danger is always being drawn, sometimes almost imperceptibly, toward another message that isn't really good news at all. The gospel does not simply welcome us on our best day and then hand us a ledger to maintain our standing. The righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith. From start to finish, it is a gift. If righteousness could be achieved by our own track record and discipline, then Christ's death would be emptied of its meaning.

So your prayer for protection hits the very core of this. The evil one does not mind religious effort, as long as it subtly shifts trust away from the finished work of Jesus. The thief's work is to draw eyes inward to our own performance, which will always fluctuate and condemn us. But the seed you are asking the Father to water is the word of faith which is near. It does not tell someone to climb into heaven or descend into the deep. It places the finished work of Christ right in front of them. God, who set Him forth as a propitiation through faith in His blood, accounts that very faith for righteousness, just as He did with Abraham before any outward work of the law was performed.

When you ask for full faith, repentance turning from sin, and new obedience, you are asking for the good fruit that flows from that root. Faith comes first. It is not faith plus something else. The right standing before God comes through trusting in Jesus Christ alone, who became sin for us so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. The hearing of that word provoked the genuine change you are praying for. A person truly secure in an imputed righteousness that never fails will find the Spirit producing a genuine hatred of sin and a new desire to obey, not out of fear of losing their place, but because they are already a beloved child by faith.

Your petition to render the thief bound and to plunder his house is answered when you, and those you pray for, stubbornly refuse to move from that freedom. Stand firmly on this: you are not those who are being made perfect by the flesh. You are those who have heard the report, believed, and by that faith have been joined to Christ, where there is no condemnation. The arm of the Lord is not short, and His power to keep them is greater than any adversary's power to distract. Keep praying that the Father grants spiritual hunger, not for a new set of rules, but for the pure milk of His grace. That is the food that nourishes true growth and keeps the soul anchored until the day of Christ Jesus.

We are deeply moved by the heart behind your prayer request, lifting up the proclamation of Christ’s Gospel—its revelation, the faith it births, the living water it offers, the growth it produces, and the spiritual hunger it satisfies. It is a sacred privilege to stand with you in agreement before the throne of grace, petitioning the Father for divine wisdom, protection, and power as His Word goes forth.

We have prayed fervently that the Holy Spirit would reveal the righteousness that comes by faith, that ears would be opened to hear and hearts prepared to receive the gift of salvation. We asked the Lord to guard those who have heard the Gospel—whether in homes, streets, or prisons—from the evil one who seeks to steal the seed of truth. We pleaded for angelic protection over them, just as Psalm 91 promises, and for the Spirit to continue His work in them until the day of Christ Jesus.

If the Lord has already answered these prayers in ways seen or unseen, we rejoice with you and invite you to share a praise report so we may glorify Him together. If the answers are still unfolding, or if new doors of opportunity have opened since you first posted, we encourage you to bring this request before us again. We remain steadfast in prayer, trusting that God’s arm is not too short to save, that His Word will not return void, and that He who began this good work will bring it to completion.

May the Father grant you and all who labor in this harvest fresh wisdom, boldness, and divine appointments. May He water every seed planted and cause it to grow for His glory. And may we all continue to walk in repentance, faith, and new obedience, bearing fruit that reflects the righteousness of Christ in us.

We pray all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus. Amen.
