Father, we thank You for these who've been praying for grace to witness in the face of trials and opposition, (1 Thes 2:1-13, Whole Book of Acts, Rev 1:1-22:21). We thank You for wide doors for effective service being opened despite adversaries, 1 Cor16:9, for divine appointments with housemates, in shopping centers, in cell groups, cell blocks, in churches, street corners, restaurants, with fathers, mothers, stepmothers, children, family, friends, enemies, wherever the Spirit blows, Jn 3:8, Give us what to say and HOW to say it, Jn 12:49.

Your arm is NOT too short that it cannot save, Isa 59:1, Numbers 11:23. Remind ALL that have ever heard, especially recently (and remind us, kindly) of our humanity, sin, the gospel of free grace by the bloody death of Jesus on the cross for our sakes, His death for payment of sin, Rom 5:23, with analogies of bills being paid, therefore nothing owed, it is finished, Jn 19:30, His resurrection, His appearing to many witnesses, His ascension, and sending of The Holy Spirit, Acts 2:32-33, and the correct response of repentance and continued discipleship, Jn 8:31-32.

This Jesus who was sinless BECAME sin for us, 2 Cor 5:21 (was judged to death as The Lamb, Jn 1:29, to break the curse of sin, Gen 2:17, John 11:50-51, Gal 3:13-14) so we could be made the righteousness of God on His behalf, as His ambassadors, 2 Cor 5:20, through the Word of reconciliation He's committed to us, 2 Cor 5:19.

Thank You for those who've heard, we've prayed with and for, and WE trust YOU Holy Spirit to continue to do His work until the day of Christ Jesus, Phil 1:6. Keep them and us all from the evil one, Jn 17:15, who attempts to snatch away the seed of the Word, Mk 4:14-15. May prayers render him as being bound, and having his goods plundered, Mk 3:27, as the late evangelist said, "we plunder hell to populate heaven."

Water the seed of the word and let them grow, provide more chances to share and grant us all full faith and repentance, turning from all sin with grief and hatred of it, wholly endeavoring to new obedience, trusting Jesus who has become for us wisdom, righteousness, continued sanctification, and redemption, 1 Cor 1:30. We rejoice with you in the glorious truth of the Gospel, the power of God unto salvation for all who believe! Your prayer is rich with Scripture, and we stand with you in declaring the finished work of Christ, the sufficiency of His grace, and the victory of His resurrection. Let us lift this before the throne of grace together, affirming these truths and seeking the Lord’s continued outpouring of His Spirit.

We thank the Father for the precious gift of salvation, which is not earned by works but received by faith in Jesus Christ alone. As it is written, "For the word of the cross is foolishness to those who are dying, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God" (1 Corinthians 1:18). This message, Christ crucified, buried, and risen, is the cornerstone of our faith, and we pray that it would take deep root in the hearts of all who hear it. May the Holy Spirit open blind eyes, soften hardened hearts, and draw many to repentance and faith.

We stand in agreement with your prayer for those who are sharing the Gospel amid trials and opposition. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but we declare that no weapon formed against the servants of God shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We rebuke the lies of the evil one that would discourage or silence those who proclaim the truth. Instead, we pray for boldness, wisdom, and divine appointments, "for it is God who works in you both to will and to work, for his good pleasure" (Philippians 2:13). May the Lord give words of life and power, that many would hear, believe, and be saved.

We also lift up those who have heard the Gospel but have not yet fully surrendered to Christ. The seed of the Word must be watered by the Holy Spirit, and we pray for a deep hunger for righteousness in their hearts (Matthew 5:6). May they not be like the seed sown among thorns, choked by the cares of this world, but rather like the good soil that bears fruit thirty, sixty, and a hundredfold (Mark 4:20). We ask the Lord to protect them from the evil one, who seeks to snatch away the truth before it can take root. As it is written, "He shall give his angels charge over you, to guard you in all your ways" (Psalm 91:11).

Father, we also take this moment to remind ourselves and all who read this of the gravity of sin and the holiness of Your justice. The wages of sin is death (Romans 6:23), but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. We were once enemies of God, but now we are reconciled to Him through the blood of the cross (Colossians 1:20-22). We pray that none would take this grace for granted or presume upon Your mercy. Let us walk in repentance, turning away from all sin with godly sorrow, and pressing forward in newness of life (2 Corinthians 7:10).

We rejoice in the truth that Jesus became sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him (2 Corinthians 5:21). This is not a license to sin, but a call to holiness. We are ambassadors for Christ, entrusted with the ministry of reconciliation (2 Corinthians 5:18-20). May we faithfully proclaim this message, not with empty words, but with lives transformed by the power of the Gospel.

Lord, we thank You for the promise that You who began a good work in us will complete it until the day of Christ Jesus (Philippians 1:6). We trust in Your faithfulness to keep us from the evil one (John 17:15) and to bring to full fruition the seeds of faith planted in hearts. Bind the strong man, O Lord, that his house may be plundered and souls rescued from darkness into Your marvelous light (Mark 3:27).

We pray for spiritual growth in every believer, for a deepening hunger for Your Word, a greater dependence on Your Spirit, and a passion to see the lost saved. May we abide in Christ, the true Vine, that we may bear much fruit (John 15:5). Let us not grow weary in doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not faint (Galatians 6:9).

Finally, we declare that the arm of the Lord is not too short to save (Isaiah 59:1). You are mighty to save, and Your mercy endures forever. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the Name above every name, the only Name by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). To You be all glory, honor, and praise, now and forever. Amen.

Father, thank You for the gospel, which is Your power for salvation to everyone who believes. We join this prayer today for every person who has heard Your Word. Guard each seed from being snatched away. Give spiritual hunger where there is indifference, and shine the light of the knowledge of Your glory in the face of Christ into every dark place. The very burden of this prayer delights my soul, for it is the cry of a heart set upon the glory of God in the salvation of sinners. You have laid hold upon the grand truth that the Gospel is, in itself, most plain and clear. Never entertain the notion that the message requires the garnish of human cleverness or the defense of carnal weapons. The true Gospel is simplicity itself, that Christ came into the world to save sinners, that He was made sin for us who knew no sin, that the bloody death of the cross is the full payment for transgression, and that whosoever believeth in Him hath everlasting life. If our Gospel is hid, it is hid to them that are lost; the god of this world hath blinded their unbelieving eyes. We have nothing to do with making men believe; ours is to testify of Christ everywhere, to preach and to proclaim the Gospel to all men. The Arm of the Lord is not shortened, and the foolishness of preaching remains the wisdom of God.

I perceive a holy anxiety concerning the opposition you face and the adversaries who would snatch away the seed. You are right to pray for protection from the evil one, for the old, easy, natural method of returning evil for evil does not succeed. Nobody ever overcame evil by confronting it with evil; such a course increases the evil. The method which is nobly congruous with the spirit of the Gospel is to overcome evil with good. Were we not saved because the Lord rendered to us good for evil? When men revile and doors seem barred by the squires of this world, remember how quickly God can turn the most fierce persecutors into the most earnest preachers! Be of good heart; trust the Holy Spirit as a very Person who helps your infirmities, and adorn the Gospel not with mere words, but with a holy life, a cheerful countenance, and strict integrity. Hang the jewels of holiness about its neck.

You have prayed for full faith and repentance, and for grace to witness. Here is a deep truth you must grip with both hands: if you would be a witness, you must first be a partaker. You cannot witness if you do not partake, or if you witness and do not partake, you only witness to your own condemnation. You must be a faith-witness, a testifying witness, and a partaking witness in the sufferings of Christ. Then, even now, you are a partaker of the glory that shall be revealed. Plead the blood of Jesus as your only hope; place no reliance upon your own preaching or praying as any ground of merit. Let this be your confidence: "He lives!, The great Redeemer lives!" He lives to plead for sinners. Look to your bleeding Savior, and then go forth. The Gospel may be brought by the poorest of my Master's servants, but since it is God's own message of love, in refusing it men refuse their God. Yet if they accept it, they have found their God. Water the seed with your tears of intercession, and leave the growth to Him whose arm is not too short that it cannot save.

The prayer you offer is right and good, for it is woven from the very threads of Scripture. Yet I see you ask for boldness while perhaps fretting over the manner of its coming. You long for open doors, for words to speak, for protection from the evil one who would snatch the seed away. All this is godly, but let us examine the soil of the heart first.

You recall how the Apostles fled from Iconium to Lystra and Derbe. Was this timidity? By no means. They escaped the stones not to save their skin for its own sake, but to continue planting the Word elsewhere. Their boldness was not a brutish rushing into danger, but a steadfast speaking in the Lord, who testified to the word of His grace by granting signs and wonders. True boldness, you see, is not the child of safety or human strength. It is born when we have nothing to lose. Consider Elijah and John the Baptist. Were they men of wealth? No, they possessed poverty, and in that poverty they thundered against kings. For the rich man is a slave, dragging long ropes behind him, his lands, his gold, his reputation, and any man can grab those ropes to pull him off course. But the poor man, stripped of such entanglements, stands naked and free, where no threat of confiscation can reach his soul. When you pray for boldness, then, pray first for a holy detachment. Ask not merely for the removal of trials, but for a heart so anchored in heaven that the loss of earthly things seems a light matter.

And oh, guard your boldness from the venom of wrath! A man who speaks the truth in anger is like a soldier who cracks his own sword before the battle. He may think he fights for righteousness, but his passion deafens the hearer. When Stephen stood before his murderers, his face shone like an angel’s, and he spoke bold words not through spite, but through a grieving love that cried, “Lord, lay not this sin to their charge.” This is the mystery of the Cross you so rightly treasure. Christ, who is our Wisdom and Power, stood silent before His accusers, and when He did speak, it was not to crush but to save. If you desire to plunder hell to populate heaven, you must bind the strong man not with your own rage, but with the gentleness that confounds all malice. The devil knows well how to use our indignation to tangle the net he means to break.

When you speak to housemates, to family, to strangers in the marketplace, do as the Apostles did in Iconium. They entered the synagogue again, even after being assaulted, and they spoke in a way that both Jews and Greeks believed. How? By testifying to the grace of God. They did not rely on clever analogies or human persuasion alone. They made the foolishness of the Cross the very power of God. You have prayed for analogies to show that the payment for sin is finished, that Christ became sin for us. This is the holy seed. But I see in your prayer a deep concern over the thorns and the rocky ground. You fear the evil one snatching the word away. Yet remember this: it is not the heat of persecution that withers the seed, but the lack of root in the hearer. It is not the riches themselves that choke the word, but the deceitfulness of riches and the cares of this world. You cannot force the root to grow; that is the Spirit’s work. But you can so live and so speak that the sheer fragrance of an unanxious life makes the deceits of the world look hollow. Do not let your own heart be choked with worry over the results. Proclaim the payment made at Calvary, the empty tomb, the ascended Lord who sent His Spirit, and then trust the Holy Spirit to continue His work until the day of Christ Jesus.

Finally, pray for the open door, as the blessed Paul did from his chains. He did not pray for the door of his prison to swing wide so he could walk free. He prayed for a door of utterance to speak the mystery of Christ as he ought to speak. Your present station, whether it seems a prison of opposition or a wide field of service, is the very place where that door must open. And what is required of you is not a loud and polished oratory, but a life so saturated with the Word that when you fix your eyes on a lame soul, perceiving faith to be made whole, you can speak with Heaven’s authority. So go, not with the swagger of the flesh, but with the unshakable certainty that God’s arm is not short. He gives growth. He guards His own. And he who plunders hell does so by wielding the Cross, not a club.
