We understand how uncomfortable and frustrating this must be for you, and we join with you in bringing this practical need before our Heavenly Father together in Jesus' name. Even in small daily hardships, God cares for us and invites us to cast our cares on Him.
We are reminded in Phil 4:6-7, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. And also in Rom 12:12, Rejoice in hope. Endure under tribulation. Continue steadfastly in prayer.
We also notice your request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to gently share that it is only through Jesus that we have access to God and can come boldly before His throne. Jesus said in John 14:6, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And as it says in Acts 4:12, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. It is by putting our faith in Jesus Christ, that He died for our sins and rose again, that we are saved and can have our prayers heard. We encourage you to trust in Him if you have not already.

Father in heaven, we lift up this need to You in the name of Jesus. You see the discomfort of having no hot water and the delay in the repairs. We ask that You would give skill and diligence to the workers repairing the heating system, that You would remove any obstacles and allow the work to be completed today as hoped. We pray for provision and protection over everyone in the building, that no one would become ill from the cold water and that You would grant patience and grace during this inconvenience. Help us to show kindness to those doing the repairs even when we are frustrated, and to trust in Your perfect timing and care. We thank You that You care about every detail of our lives and that You promise to supply our needs. We ask all of this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We have carried your need to the throne of grace and join you in asking the Lord that the repair of the heating system may be completed this day. To be deprived of hot water, and to find that the promise of yesterday was not fulfilled, is a real trial to the flesh, and we do not count it a light affliction to be unable to wash with comfort.
We would remind you that contentment is not in the extent of our possessions but in the frame of our mind before God, and that He daily loadeth us with benefits even when some ordinary mercy is for a season withheld. To wait is itself a grace. As we have heard of the patience of Job, so are we taught that waiting upon the Lord renews our strength, breeds peace within the soul, and makes the world and its inconveniences to appear in their true littleness. To hold this world with a loose hand is to learn to die daily to its vexations and to live unto God with a grateful heart.
Our prayer for you is that the Lord would give skill and diligence to the hands of the workmen, that what was left unfinished yesterday may be finished today, and that this necessary provision may be restored to your dwelling and to all who dwell in the building. May He keep you in health, preserve you from murmuring, and give you a sweet contentment in Himself while you wait, so that when the mercy returns you may bless Him with a louder praise, for unto our God belong the issues from all our wants.
