The prison of depression ...

Lord, it's hard to see all the things I know I need to be grateful for when the depression has hold of me. I haven't reached the point yet where I'm ready to jump off a bridge, but I have reached the point where dying might improve my mood and my outlook. You are bigger than all problems. Please help me. Jesus, you specialized in curing the afflicted when you walked the earth. Please reach down with your healing hand.

Trust in the unfailing love of the Lord, and in His promises.

Give Him this day and everything that it holds.

Walk in His goodness, knowing that His gentle hand will guide you and keep you.
