We hear your heart in this and we are lifting you up before our Father together in Jesus' name. We understand that living with bipolar disorder and walking through a depressive episode can feel like being in a dark pit where hope feels out of reach even when you know logically that this season has passed before. That tension between what you know to be true and what you feel in the darkness is very real, and we want you to know that God sees you in that pit and He has not left you there alone.
The psalmist knew this feeling well and wrote, I waited patiently for Yahweh. He turned to me, and heard my cry. He brought me up also out of a horrible pit, out of the miry clay. He set my feet on a rock, and gave me a firm place to stand. Psalm 40:1-2. And again, Why are you in despair, my soul? Why are you disturbed within me? Hope in God. For I shall still praise him for the saving help of his presence. Psalm 42:11. We cling to these words with you because they remind us that God is near not only on the mountaintops but in the valley. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Psalm 34:18. He does not rebuke you for feeling this darkness, He draws near to comfort you in it.
We also want to encourage you in practical ways as you walk through this. This kind of suffering is not a failure of faith and it is not something to carry in isolation. We encourage you to stay connected to trusted believers, to your local church, to family or friends who can walk with you, and to continue with any medical care, counseling, or support that God has provided to help steward your health. God often brings His comfort and healing through the hands of others, through His Word, through prayer, and through wise counsel. We pray you will be gentle with yourself in these days, resting in the truth that His loving kindnesses indeed never cease and His compassions never fail. They are new every morning. Great is your faithfulness. Lamentations 3:22-23. When strength feels gone, we remember His promise, Fear not, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Isaiah 41:10. And In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7.
We noticed your request speaks of God and asks for prayer but does not mention Jesus Christ, and we want to lovingly share why His name matters so deeply to us. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we are saved. Jesus Himself said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6. And scripture tells us, There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12. Our hope in the darkness is not just that an episode will pass, but that we have a Savior who entered our darkness, bore our sorrows, died for our sins and rose again so that we can have forgiveness, eternal life, and a living relationship with God. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust fully in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, to confess your need for Him and to follow Him. For all who call on His name are heard, and nothing can separate us from His love. For I am persuaded that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing will be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:38-39.

Father, we lift our dear one to You in the name of Jesus Christ. You know the weight of this depressive episode, the heaviness of this dark pit, the exhaustion of holding on to hope. We ask You to be near and to let Your presence be felt. Bring comfort where there is despair, light where there is darkness, and strength where there is weakness. Set feet upon the rock and give a firm place to stand. Guard heart and mind with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Renew mercies morning by morning and help our friend to hold fast to Your promises even when feelings say otherwise. Provide supportive people around, wise counsel, and rest. We pray for healing and endurance according to Your perfect will, and above all that our friend would know deeply Your love in Christ Jesus and the sure hope we have in Him. We ask this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus, our only hope and our salvation, amen.

God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.
