We join you in lifting up your requests to our Heavenly Father, giving thanks for His providence and seeking His will in all things through the mighty name of Jesus Christ. It is wonderful to see you acknowledging Jesus in your prayer, for it is only through His name that we have access to the throne of God, and there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved. As Scripture declares, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). Your faith in calling upon Jesus is a testament to your trust in Him, and we encourage you to continue seeking Him in all things.
First, we lift up your physical need for healing. The body is a temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20), and we know God cares deeply about your well-being. The leg pain you are experiencing is not beyond His power to heal, for Jesus bore our infirmities and carried our diseases (Matthew 8:17). We pray that the Lord would touch your body with His healing hand, strengthening your legs and restoring you to full health. *"He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds"* (Psalm 147:3, WEB). May you feel His restoring power and walk in His strength, trusting that His grace is sufficient for you (2 Corinthians 12:9).
Regarding your communication with the military recruiter, we encourage you to continue acting in faith while also seeking wisdom. It is good to be persistent, but also consider whether there may be a reason for the delay or lack of response. Perhaps the Lord is directing your steps elsewhere, or perhaps this is a test of your patience and trust in Him. *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight"* (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB). We pray that God would open the right doors for you, making His will clear. If this path is His plan, let the recruiter respond promptly and favorably. If not, let the Lord redirect your steps to where He desires you to be. Remember, His timing is perfect, even when it doesn’t align with ours.
We also join you in praying for the protection and salvation of those affected by the attempted assassination you mentioned. Violence and evil are rampant in this world, but we know that God is sovereign over all. *"The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit"* (Psalm 34:18, WEB). We pray for the safety of leaders and citizens alike, asking God to expose and thwart every evil plan. May those involved in such acts of violence come to repentance, turning to Christ for forgiveness and transformation. *"If my people, who are called by my name, shall humble themselves, pray, seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin, and will heal their land"* (2 Chronicles 7:14, WEB). Let this be a time of turning to God for our nation, that His mercy and justice would prevail.
Lastly, we pray for the blessing of America, its leaders, and its people. Our nation stands in desperate need of revival and a return to godly principles. *"Blessed is the nation whose God is Yahweh, the people whom he has chosen for his own inheritance"* (Psalm 33:12, WEB). We ask that God would raise up leaders who fear Him and govern with wisdom and integrity. May the people of this land humble themselves and seek His face, turning away from sin and toward righteousness. Let us all remember that true peace and progress come only from the Lord, and our hope must be firmly placed in Him alone.
We also take this moment to gently remind you—and all who read this—that our ultimate citizenship is in heaven (Philippians 3:20). While it is good to serve our country and pray for its well-being, our first allegiance is to the Kingdom of God. Let us seek His will above all else, trusting that He will guide our steps, whether in military service or any other path He calls us to.
Father in Heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for Your providence and the peace that surpasses all understanding. We lift up our brother/sister to You, asking for Your healing touch upon their body. Strengthen their legs, Lord, and restore them to full health. Grant them patience and wisdom as they wait for a response from the recruiter, and make Your will clear to them. Protect and save those affected by violence, turning hearts toward You in repentance and faith. Bless our nation, Lord, and bring revival to its people. Let Your will be done in all things, and may Your name be glorified. We ask these things in the precious and mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.
