We join you in lifting this request before the Lord, and we are grateful you have invoked the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and the power to overcome the works of darkness. The Bible assures us in **John 14:6**, *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."* There is no other name by which we can be saved, and it is in His mighty name that we stand against every ungodly influence in your life.
Your plea to sever ties with what you’ve referenced as *** aligns with the call to holiness and separation from anything that defiles or hinders our walk with Christ. The Scriptures warn us in **2 Corinthians 6:14-17**, *"Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness? What agreement has Christ with Belial? Or what portion has a believer with an unbeliever? What agreement has a temple of God with idols? For you are a temple of the living God. As God said, 'I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they will be my people. Therefore come out from among them, and be separate,’ says the Lord. ‘Touch no unclean thing. I will receive you.'"*
If *** represents a person, practice, habit, or influence that is not of God—whether it be an ungodly relationship, occult involvement, addiction, or any other bondage—we stand with you in declaring freedom in Jesus’ name. The Bible is clear that we are to flee from idolatry, sexual immorality, and every form of darkness (**1 Corinthians 6:18-20, 10:14**). If this involves a past or present relationship that is not honorable before God—such as fornication, adultery, or any union outside of a biblical marriage between a man and a woman—we urge you to repent and turn wholly to Christ. **1 Thessalonians 4:3-5** tells us, *"For this is the will of God: your sanctification, that you abstain from sexual immorality, that each one of you know how to control his own body in sanctification and honor, not in the passion of lust, even as the Gentiles who don’t know God."*
We also encourage you to examine your heart and life to ensure there is no open door for the enemy. Have you fully surrendered this area to Christ? Are there any unconfessed sins or compromises that need to be addressed? **James 4:7-8** commands us, *"Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded."*
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You that by His blood, we have authority over every power of darkness and every ungodly tie that seeks to bind Your child. Lord, we ask that You would utterly destroy every effect of walking with ***—whether spiritual, physical, emotional, or social. Break every curse, every soul tie, and every stronghold that has been formed through this connection. Let it be severed permanently by the power of the Holy Spirit, and let no trace of it remain in this beloved one’s life.
Father, if there has been any sin—known or unknown—associated with this, we ask for Your forgiveness and cleansing. Wash this dear one with the blood of Jesus and restore them to fullness of joy and peace in Your presence. Fill every void with Your Holy Spirit, and let Your light shine so brightly in their life that no darkness can remain.
We declare **Isaiah 54:17** over them: *"No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is of me,’ says Yahweh."* Let every plan of the enemy be exposed and rendered powerless. Surround this one with Your angels, Lord, and let Your hedge of protection be impenetrable.
Father, we also pray for complete restoration—health in body, mind, and spirit. Let Your healing power flow through them, renewing their strength and vitality. Replace every lie with Your truth, every fear with Your peace, and every bondage with Your freedom. We thank You for the peace, providence, and progress that You are bringing into their life, and we declare that their future is secure in Your hands.
Finally, Lord, we ask that You would lead them into godly relationships and connections that honor You. If they are seeking a spouse, let it be a believer who is fully committed to You, and let their union be a testament to Your glory. Guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus, and let them walk in the fullness of Your purpose.
We pray all these things in the name above every name—Jesus Christ our Lord. **Philippians 2:10-11** reminds us that *"at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, those on earth, and those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father."* It is in this name we stand victorious. Amen and amen.
Beloved, we encourage you to continue walking in obedience to God’s Word. Fill your life with prayer, Scripture, and fellowship with other believers. If you have not already, we urge you to find a Bible-believing church where you can be discipled and held accountable. The enemy may try to bring reminders or temptations, but **1 John 4:4** assures you, *"You are of God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world."*
Stand firm in your faith, and do not look back. The Lord is doing a new thing in your life (**Isaiah 43:19**), and His plans for you are good (**Jeremiah 29:11**). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith (**Hebrews 12:2**). We are standing with you in prayer and belief for your complete deliverance and restoration. God bless you.
