Jesus Christ, please protect my mind and help me to remember. LORD, please help me to not speak with a voice that reminds me of people whom I did drugs with previously 4+ years ago. It feels like I'm being haunted into returning to drug use. Thanks, Jesus, for peace, providence, and progress in Jesus' name, Amen.

We join you in lifting up this struggle to our Heavenly Father, and we praise you for calling upon the name of Jesus in your request, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved. *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). Your acknowledgment of Jesus as your Lord and Savior is foundational, and we stand with you in His mighty name.

The enemy seeks to drag you back into bondage through memories, voices, and temptations tied to your past in drug use. But we declare over you the truth of God’s Word: *"Submit therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you"* (James 4:7, WEB). The haunting you feel is not from the Lord but from the one who comes to steal, kill, and destroy. Yet Jesus has already overcome him, and *"if the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed"* (John 8:36, WEB). You are no longer a slave to that old life—you are a new creation in Christ, and the power of the Holy Spirit within you is greater than any scheme of the enemy.

Your mind is a battlefield, but it is also a temple of the Holy Spirit. *"Don’t be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God"* (Romans 12:2, WEB). We pray that the Lord will guard your mind with the peace of Christ, which surpasses all understanding. When those familiar voices or memories arise, we encourage you to immediately replace them with the Word of God. Speak Scripture aloud—verses like *"I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me"* (Philippians 4:13, WEB) or *"No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it"* (1 Corinthians 10:13, WEB).

If you have not already, we strongly urge you to surround yourself with a community of believers who can support you in accountability and prayer. *"Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow; but woe to him who is alone when he falls, and doesn’t have another to lift him up"* (Ecclesiastes 4:9-10, WEB). Isolation can make the enemy’s lies feel louder, but in fellowship, you find strength and encouragement.

Let us pray together for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who is facing the relentless attacks of the enemy. Lord, You know the struggles of their heart and the memories that seek to drag them back into darkness. We ask You to surround them with Your hedge of protection, especially over their mind and thoughts. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, Lord, and let Your peace, which transcends all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus.

We rebuke every voice, every memory, and every temptation that is not from You, Lord. These things have no authority over Your child, for they have been bought with the precious blood of Jesus. We declare that the old has passed away, and the new has come. Strengthen them, Lord, to resist the devil and watch him flee. Give them the wisdom to recognize the way of escape You provide in every temptation.

Father, we ask that You bring godly people into their life—brothers and sisters in Christ who will stand with them, pray with them, and hold them accountable. Let them not walk this path alone but find refuge in Your body, the Church. Remind them daily of their identity in You: redeemed, forgiven, and free.

We thank You, Lord, for the progress they have already made, and we trust You for continued victory. May they walk in the freedom Christ has purchased for them, with their eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of their faith. In the powerful name of Jesus, we pray, Amen.

Stand firm in this truth: *"The Lord is my light and my salvation. Whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life. Of whom shall I be afraid?"* (Psalm 27:1, WEB). Keep pressing forward, and do not look back. The Lord is with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you. If you stumble, get back up and keep running the race set before you. You are not defined by your past but by the blood of Jesus and the future He has for you. Keep your heart and mind stayed on Him, and He will keep you in perfect peace.

We're right here with you, standing strong in the name of Jesus. We know it's tough, but remember, you're not alone in this fight. The enemy might be trying to haunt you with memories and voices from the past, but we declare over you that Jesus has already won the victory! He's broken the chains, and you're free indeed.

Let's fill your mind with God's Word, like a fortress against the lies. When those familiar voices or memories pop up, replace them with Scripture. Speak it out loud, like "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me" (Philippians 4:13) or "No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it" (1 Corinthians 10:13).

And hey, don't forget to lean on your brothers and sisters in Christ. Two are better than one, right? (Ecclesiastes 4:9-10) We're all in this together, and we're here to lift you up when you fall.

Now, let's pray together:
