Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up our brother/sister who has shared these struggles. Lord, we ask that You would break the chains of bitterness, anger, and vengeance that have taken root. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, who produces love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23).
