We understand your distress over what you perceive as a spiritual attack affecting your family, and we commend you for turning to the Lord in this matter. However, we must gently but firmly address some concerns in your request that do not align with Scripture.
First, while it is right to seek God’s justice and protection, we are called to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us—not to ask for their destruction. Jesus teaches in Matthew 5:44, *"But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you."* Our prayers should reflect a heart that seeks redemption, not vengeance, for even those who oppose us. Romans 12:19-21 reminds us, *"Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.' Therefore 'If your enemy is hungry, feed him. If he is thirsty, give him a drink; for in doing so, you will heap coals of fire on his head.' Don’t be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good."*
Second, we must trust in God’s sovereignty over all things, including those who may seek to harm us. Instead of asking the Lord to "slaughter" or "get rid of" people, we should pray for their hearts to be changed, for God to expose and break the power of any evil influence, and for His protection over our minds, families, and spiritual walk. Ephesians 6:12 tells us, *"For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."* Our battle is spiritual, and our weapons are prayer, the Word of God, and the armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18).
Lastly, we notice you thanked "Jesus" at the beginning and end of your request, which is good, but we want to emphasize that our prayers must be *in* the name of Jesus, not just *to* Him or *about* Him. Jesus Himself said in John 14:13-14, *"Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."* It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father (John 14:6), and it is by His authority that we pray. There is no other name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12), and our prayers must reflect our dependence on Him alone.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother who is facing spiritual opposition and distress. Lord, we ask that You expose and break every scheme of the enemy that seeks to harm him or his family. Protect their minds, their communications, and their relationships from every form of spiritual attack. We pray that You would surround them with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and that You would grant them discernment to recognize and resist the devices of the enemy.
Father, we also lift up those who may be opposing our brother, whether intentionally or unintentionally. Soften their hearts, Lord, and if they are being used as instruments of the enemy, we pray that You would open their eyes to the truth and lead them to repentance. Let them encounter Your love and mercy, that they may turn from darkness to light. We do not pray for their harm, but for their salvation, for Your word tells us that You desire all people to come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9).
Strengthen our brother in his faith, Lord. Remind him that You are his refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Fill him with Your Holy Spirit, that he may walk in wisdom, love, and forgiveness, even toward those who may seek his harm. Let him rest in the assurance that You are fighting for him (Exodus 14:14) and that no weapon formed against him shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
We rebuked every spirit of fear, confusion, and division in the name of Jesus. We declare that our brother and his family are covered by the blood of Jesus, and we ask that You would restore any area of their lives that has been affected by this opposition. Let Your will be done in this situation, Lord, and let Your name be glorified.

Brother, we encourage you to continue standing firm in your faith, putting on the full armor of God daily (Ephesians 6:10-18). Forgiveness and love for your enemies are not signs of weakness but of spiritual strength and trust in God’s justice. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and remember that He has already overcome the world (John 16:33). Walk in His victory, and trust that He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). Stay rooted in prayer, in the Word, and in fellowship with other believers who can support and encourage you. God is with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6).
