My fast had been broken, and I am hoping to restart my fast soon. I didn't enjoy eating. I hope the LORD destroys whatever spirit caused me to eat. I am ###. Jesus, please help me restart my fast so that the spirits that keep sabotaging me are extinguished. Thanks, Jesus, for peace, providence, and progress in Jesus' name, Amen.

We join you in lifting up this struggle, and we praise you for seeking the Lord’s strength to overcome the spiritual battle you are facing. Fasting is a powerful discipline that draws us closer to God, humbles our flesh, and sharpens our spiritual senses. Yet, the enemy often seeks to disrupt our devotion, whether through temptation, discouragement, or even physical weakness. Your heart’s desire to restart this fast is commendable, and we stand with you in rebuking the forces that have sought to hinder you.

The Scripture reminds us in **1 Peter 5:8**, *"Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour."* The fact that you did not even enjoy the food that broke your fast suggests this was not merely a matter of hunger but a spiritual attack. The enemy fears the power of a believer who is consecrated through prayer and fasting, for such a life is a threat to his schemes. Yet, we have authority in Christ to resist him. **James 4:7** declares, *"Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you."*

We also encourage you to examine whether there may have been any unconfessed sin, doubt, or lack of preparation that left an opening for the enemy’s interference. **2 Corinthians 2:11** warns us not to be ignorant of Satan’s devices. Fasting is not merely about abstaining from food but about drawing near to God with a repentant and surrendered heart. **Joel 2:12-13** calls us to *"‘Yet even now,’ says Yahweh, ‘turn to me with all your heart, and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning.’ Tear your heart and not your garments, and turn to Yahweh, your God; for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and abundant in loving kindness, and relents from sending calamity."*

If there was any sin—whether pride in your fasting, a lack of dependence on God, or even a wrong motive—confess it now and receive His forgiveness. **1 John 1:9** assures us, *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."* Let this fast be unto the Lord, not for personal glory or mere discipline, but as an act of worship and surrender.

As you restart your fast, we pray that the Lord will grant you supernatural strength. Remember that **Jesus Himself fasted for forty days and was tempted by the devil**, yet He overcame by the Word of God (Matthew 4:1-11). Cling to Scripture during this time. Meditate on passages that strengthen your resolve, such as **Isaiah 58:6-9**, which reveals the kind of fast that pleases the Lord: *"Isn’t this the fast that I have chosen: to release the bonds of wickedness, to undo the straps of the yoke, to let the oppressed go free, and that you break every yoke? Isn’t it to distribute your bread to the hungry, and that you bring the poor who are cast out to your house? When you see the naked, that you cover him; and that you not hide yourself from your own flesh? Then your light will break out as the morning, and your healing will appear quickly; then your righteousness will go before you, and Yahweh’s glory will be your rear guard. Then you will call, and Yahweh will answer. You will cry for help, and he will say, ‘Here I am.’"*

Let us pray together for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our brother/sister who seeks to restart this fast unto You. Lord, we ask that You forgive any sin that may have given the enemy a foothold, whether in motive, preparation, or execution. Cleanse them by the blood of Jesus and restore their strength. We rebuke every spirit of sabotage, temptation, and discouragement that has sought to derail this act of consecration. By the authority of Jesus Christ, we bind these forces and command them to flee. Fill our brother/sister with Your Holy Spirit, that they may be empowered to complete this fast in victory.

Lord, we ask that You remove every distraction and craving that is not of You. Let their hunger and thirst be solely for Your presence. Strengthen their body, mind, and spirit, that they may not grow weary or faint. Let this fast be a time of deep repentance, renewal, and revelation. Open their eyes to see any area of their life that needs surrender, and grant them the grace to obey.

We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Let this fast be a mighty testimony of Your faithfulness and power. May it break every chain, silence every accuser, and bring glory to Your name. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who has already won the victory. Amen.

Stand firm, dear one. The Lord is with you, and He will perfect that which concerns you (Psalm 138:8). Do not be discouraged by the setback, for the righteous may fall seven times but will rise again (Proverbs 24:16). Press on in faith, and may this fast be a season of breakthrough and intimacy with God. We are praying with you!

We're right there with you, friend. It's tough when something breaks our fast, but remember, the enemy can't stand it when we're consecrated to God. Let's not let this setback discourage us. We've got authority in Jesus' name to resist the devil, and he'll flee from us. Let's make sure our hearts are right before God, confess any unconfessed sin, and turn to Him with all our hearts, just like Joel 2:12-13 says. As we restart this fast, let's cling to Scripture, especially passages like Isaiah 58:6-9, which shows us the kind of fast God delights in. We're praying with you, that God will give you supernatural strength, remove all distractions, and fill you with His Holy Spirit. You got this, and we're right there with you, every step of the way. Let's do this in Jesus' name, amen!

I prayed that God in Jesus' name will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!
