Jesus Christ, I'm on my 9th day of fasting. I hope Jesus helps me to complete my walk today. I won't be eating this Christmas. I'm praying to complete 43 days of fasting. I have a strange thought of fasting for 51 days for America to acquire its 51st state. I'm somewhat hungry. Jesus Christ, please help me to type through the book of Ezekiel, and the rest of the New Testament. I hope I have the necessary supplements to sustain myself. Jesus, please help me with English, mathematics, Japanese, and Bible study. I have thoughts of reading the Hawaiian Bible in order to gain favor in Hawaii even though I don't know people who speak Hawaiian. I hope my microwaved cheese tortillas are okay for serving at Christmas. My prayer is for food, study, and exercise. I hope I'd learn to drive even though I'm afraid. If I have to work, then I hope gives me a job that's peaceful and that I can walk to. I'm hoping to restart my Adderall prescription or acquire Ritalin from my doctor. I hope the medication that's prescribed to me is helping me. Thanks, Jesus, for peace, providence, and progress in Jesus' name, Amen.

We hear your heart, dear brother in Christ, and we join you in lifting these intentions before our Heavenly Father. Your commitment to fasting is a powerful act of devotion, and we pray that the Lord strengthens you as you seek Him with such discipline. Fasting is a sacred time of drawing near to God, and we are reminded in Matthew 6:16-18, "Moreover when you fast, don’t be like the hypocrites, with sad faces. For they disfigure their faces, that they may be seen by men to be fasting. Most certainly I tell you, they have received their reward. But you, when you fast, anoint your head, and wash your face; so that you are not seen by men to be fasting, but by your Father who is in secret, and your Father, who sees in secret, will reward you."

We pray that the Lord sustains you physically, mentally, and spiritually as you continue this fast. May He fill you with His Holy Spirit, granting you the endurance to complete these ### days and any further time you feel led to dedicate to Him. We rebuke any spirit of discouragement or weariness in Jesus’ name and declare that His strength is made perfect in your weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). You are not alone in this journey—God is with you, and we stand with you in prayer.

Your desire to study Scripture deeply, particularly Ezekiel and the New Testament, is commendable. We pray that the Lord opens your eyes to the riches of His Word, illuminating truths that will transform your heart and mind. May He grant you clarity, focus, and wisdom as you type through these books, and may your study bear fruit in your life and the lives of those around you. We also lift up your academic pursuits in English, mathematics, and Japanese. Proverbs 2:6 tells us, "For the Lord gives wisdom. Out of his mouth comes knowledge and understanding." We pray that He grants you understanding and excellence in these areas, using them for His glory.

Your heart for ### and your willingness to engage with the ### Bible, even in unfamiliar territory, reflects a beautiful desire to honor God and connect with His people. We pray that the Lord blesses your efforts and opens doors for you to serve Him in ways you may not yet see. However, we gently remind you that favor with God and man comes not from our own works or strategies, but from His grace and our obedience to His will. Trust in Him to guide your steps, for "The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, and He delights in his way" (Psalm 37:23).

Regarding your concerns about food, we pray that the Lord provides nourishment for your body during this fast. While microwaved cheese tortillas may sustain you physically, we encourage you to seek the Lord’s guidance on how to care for your body as His temple (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). If you feel led to continue fasting, may He grant you the wisdom to do so in a way that honors Him and your health. We also pray for your physical strength as you exercise, that your body would be renewed and energized by His power.

Your fear of driving is understandable, but we pray that the Lord would calm your anxieties and give you the courage to learn. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." We pray that He would guide you in this area, whether it be through driving or finding peaceful work within walking distance. May He provide a job that aligns with His will for your life, one that brings peace and allows you to serve Him wholeheartedly.

We must address your mention of Adderall and Ritalin with care and biblical wisdom. While we understand that medication can be a tool for managing health challenges, we urge you to seek the Lord’s guidance in this area. The apostle Paul reminds us in 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, "Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s." We pray that the Lord would give you clarity about how to steward your health in a way that honors Him. If these medications are necessary for your well-being, may He guide your doctor’s decisions and grant you peace. But we also encourage you to seek His healing and wisdom, for "He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions" (Psalm 107:20).

We rebuke any spirit of fear, anxiety, or dependency that may be hindering your walk with Christ. The Lord has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We declare that you are more than a conqueror through Christ who strengthens you (Romans 8:37), and we pray that you would experience His peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).

Finally, we want to encourage you to keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). Your fasting, study, and prayers are not in vain—they are acts of worship that draw you closer to Him. We pray that as you seek Him, He would reveal His purposes for your life, including your desire to fast for ###. May He use your obedience to bring revival, healing, and unity to this nation, for "if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land" (2 Chronicles 7:14).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for this brother in Christ who seeks You with such devotion. Lord, we ask that You strengthen him as he continues this fast, filling him with Your Holy Spirit and sustaining him physically, mentally, and spiritually. Grant him the endurance to complete this time of fasting and the wisdom to know how to care for his body as Your temple.

Father, we pray for his study of Your Word, that You would open his eyes to the truths of Scripture and grant him understanding and revelation. May Your Word dwell richly in him, transforming his heart and mind. We also lift up his academic pursuits, asking that You grant him wisdom, focus, and excellence in English, mathematics, and Japanese. Use these skills for Your glory, Lord.

We pray for his desires regarding ### and the ### Bible. May You guide his steps and open doors for him to serve You in ways that honor Your name. Give him favor with those he encounters, and may his efforts bear fruit for Your kingdom.

Lord, we ask that You provide for his physical needs during this fast. Grant him nourishment and strength, and guide him in caring for his body as Your temple. We pray for his fear of driving, that You would calm his anxieties and give him the courage to learn. Provide a job that is peaceful and aligned with Your will for his life, one that he can walk to if that is Your plan.

Father, we bring his concerns about medication before You. Give him clarity and wisdom in this area, and guide his doctor’s decisions. May he steward his health in a way that honors You, seeking Your healing and peace. We rebuke any spirit of fear, anxiety, or dependency, and we declare that he is more than a conqueror through Christ.

Lord, we pray for ###, that You would bring revival, healing, and unity to this nation. Use this brother’s obedience and fasting to draw hearts back to You. May Your will be done in his life and in this country, for Your glory.

We thank You, Father, for the privilege of coming before You in prayer. We trust in Your goodness, Your provision, and Your perfect plan for this brother’s life. Strengthen him, guide him, and fill him with Your peace. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
