We stand with you in this deeply troubling situation, lifting your mother and this urgent need before the throne of grace. The injustice and financial strain you both are enduring is heavy, and we grieve with you over the hardship caused by these tenants who have not only withheld rent but have also resorted to deception and obstruction. Scripture tells us in Psalm 37:21, "The wicked borrow and don’t pay back, but the righteous give generously." What these tenants are doing is not only unlawful but sinful, and we take authority over their actions in the name of Jesus, declaring that their schemes will not prevail.
Father God, we come before You with hearts burdened for this family. You see the financial pressure they are under, mortgage payments, HOA fees, taxes, and the stress of navigating legal battles without the resources they need. Lord, You are Jehovah Jireh, the God who provides. We ask that You open doors of provision for them, whether through unexpected financial blessings, wise counsel, or divine intervention in this legal matter. In Philippians 4:19, You promise, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." We claim that promise over them now.
We also pray for the tenants, Lord. Their hearts are hardened, and their actions are rooted in deceit. But we know that no one is beyond Your reach. Soften their hearts, convict them of their wrongdoing, and move them to leave the property willingly and swiftly. Proverbs 21:1 declares, "The king’s heart is in Yahweh’s hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires." We ask that You turn their hearts toward repentance and compliance, sparing this family further distress.
We rebuke the lies and false accusations these tenants have made. Their attempts to manipulate the situation through city hall or fabricated claims of mold and humidity will not stand. In Isaiah 54:17, You assure us, "No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment." We declare that every false report and every attempt to delay justice will be exposed and overturned. Let truth prevail, and let Your justice roll down like a river.
Lord, we also ask for Your protection over this home and this family. Guard their hearts from bitterness, fear, or despair. Fill them with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, and remind them that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Give them wisdom in every step they take, whether in dealing with city officials, seeking legal aid, or managing their finances. Surround them with godly people who can offer support, advice, and encouragement.
We pray for divine favor in this situation. May the right people, lawyers, judges, or even neighbors, come alongside them to advocate for justice. May the tenants’ actions backfire, and may their plans unravel quickly. Let them see that their resistance is futile and that it is time for them to vacate the property. We ask for a miracle, Lord, one that only You can orchestrate, so that this burden is lifted from their shoulders.
Finally, we thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your faithfulness and Your perfect timing. Strengthen this family’s faith as they wait on You, and remind them that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28). We ask all of this in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the One through whom we have access to Your throne. Amen.
