We hear your cry for deliverance from the exhausting cycle of survival mode, and we stand with you in agreement before the throne of grace. Living in constant survival drains the spirit, steals joy, and distorts God’s intended purpose for your life. The Father did not create you to merely scrape by in fear and scarcity, but to walk in the fullness of His peace, love, and abundance as His beloved child. We rebuke the spirit of lack, anxiety, and oppression that has kept you bound in this cycle, and we declare that it has no place in your life. The enemy comes only to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you may have life—and have it abundantly (John 10:10).
Scripture assures us that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Survival mode is rooted in fear, but perfect love casts out fear (1 John 4:18). The Lord invites you to cast all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). His peace, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). This is not just a temporary relief, but a permanent shift into the abundant life He promises.
We also recognize that survival mode can sometimes stem from ungodly soul ties, past trauma, or even generational strongholds. If there are areas in your life where you have partnered with fear, bitterness, or unbelief, we encourage you to repent and renounce those agreements with the enemy. Break every chain that has kept you in bondage, for whom the Son sets free is free indeed (John 8:36). The blood of Jesus has already paid the price for your freedom, and His resurrection power is more than enough to lift you into a new season of victory.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who is weary of living in survival mode. We thank You that You are Jehovah Jireh, the God who provides, and Jehovah Shalom, the God of peace. We declare that the chains of fear, lack, and oppression are broken right now by the power of the cross. We speak life, peace, and abundance over every area of their life—finances, health, relationships, and emotional well-being.
Lord, we ask that You would open their eyes to see the abundant life You have prepared for them. Help them to trust in Your provision and to rest in Your promises. We rebuke every lie of the enemy that has told them they must live in scarcity or fear. We declare that they are more than conquerors through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37). Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in confidence, knowing that You are their provider, protector, and peace.
Father, if there are any areas where they have made agreements with fear or unbelief, we ask that You would reveal those to them. Give them the strength to repent and renounce those lies, and replace them with Your truth. We pray for a supernatural breakthrough in their finances, that You would open the windows of heaven and pour out blessings they cannot contain (Malachi 3:10). We pray for healing in their body, mind, and emotions, that they may experience the fullness of life You intended.
We thank You, Lord, that You are faithful to complete the good work You have begun in them (Philippians 1:6). We declare that this season of survival mode is over, and a new season of peace, joy, and abundance has begun. May they walk in the fullness of Your love, knowing that You are with them always. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to stand on God’s promises daily. Meditate on His Word, surround yourself with believers who will speak life and encouragement over you, and refuse to partner with the lies of the enemy. You are not alone in this battle—God is fighting for you, and victory is already yours in Christ. Keep your eyes on Him, and do not grow weary, for in due season, you will reap if you do not faint (Galatians 6:9). The Lord is your shepherd; you shall not want (Psalm 23:1). Walk in that truth, and let it transform your life.
