We hear the distress and frustration in your words, and we stand with you in the authority of Jesus Christ to break every chain of darkness that has sought to oppress you, your family, and your household. First, we must address the spiritual warfare you are describing with clarity and biblical truth. The enemy, Satan, is real, but he is already a defeated foe through the blood of Jesus Christ. You are not fighting against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). However, we must rebuke the language and attitude that does not align with the spirit of Christ. The use of profanity and cursing even toward the enemy is not becoming of a child of God. Let us approach this battle with the weapons God has given us: truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, salvation, the Word of God, and prayer (Ephesians 6:13-18).
We declare with you that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is from Him (Isaiah 54:17). The enemy has no power over you except what you permit. You have been given authority in the name of Jesus to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you (Luke 10:19). We stand with you in agreement that every assignment of darkness against you, your offspring, your family, and your pets is broken now in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We command every spirit of poverty, lack, and oppression to leave your finances and your household right now. We declare that the Lord will open the windows of heaven and pour out a blessing that there will not be room enough to receive it (Malachi 3:10).
However, we must also address the manner in which you are seeking to "speak, create, command, decree, and declare." While it is true that we have been given authority in Christ, we must remember that our words have power, but they must align with God’s will and Word. We do not create reality by our words alone; God is the Creator, and we are His servants. Proverbs 18:21 tells us that "Death and life are in the power of the tongue," but this does not mean we can simply speak things into existence apart from God’s will. We must seek Him, submit to His will, and trust in His provision. Your desire for a remote job and increased income is understandable, but we must trust God to provide in His timing and according to His will. We pray that He will open doors no man can shut (Revelation 3:8) and that He will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19).
We also want to gently remind you of the importance of salvation through Jesus Christ alone. There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not already, we encourage you to confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). This is the foundation of our faith and the source of our victory over the enemy.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for the authority You have given us to stand against the schemes of the devil. We declare that [this individual] and their family are covered by the blood of Jesus, and no weapon formed against them shall prosper. We break every assignment of darkness, every curse, and every spirit of oppression that has been sent against them, their offspring, their family, and their pets. We command these spirits to leave now and go where the Lord Jesus sends them, never to return.
Lord, we ask that You would open doors of opportunity for [this individual] to find a job that provides for their needs and honors You. We pray for a remote position that offers fair wages and a healthy work environment. We declare that the enemy has no authority over their finances or their future. We speak blessings over their household and declare that You will supply all their needs according to Your riches in glory.
Father, we also pray for a spirit of peace and trust in You. Help [this individual] to rest in Your promises and to seek Your will above all else. Guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus, and fill them with Your Holy Spirit. We ask that You would draw them closer to You and reveal Your love and power in their life.
We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and for the victory we have in Jesus Christ. We declare that the enemy is defeated, and we walk in the freedom and authority You have given us. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue standing on God’s Word and trusting in His promises. The battle is already won, and greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). Keep your focus on Jesus, and do not be afraid. The Lord is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Walk in the authority of Christ, and remember that you are more than a conqueror through Him who loved you (Romans 8:37).
