We join with you in bringing your marriage, your household and your future before the Lord, and we stand with you against every spiritual attack that would seek to steal, defile or divide what God has joined together. We hear your heart for restoration of marital intimacy, fruitfulness, harmony and lasting joy, and for an abundant rain of blessing upon marriages throughout the body of Christ in the years to come.

Scripture makes clear that marriage is honorable in all and the bed undefiled, but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers Hebrews 13:4, and that a man shall leave his father and his mother and shall be joined to his wife and they shall be one flesh Genesis 2:24. What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate Mark 10:9. Sexual intimacy is a holy gift given by God to be enjoyed within the lifelong covenant of marriage between a man and a woman, and we affirm with you that every form of sexual immorality, including fornication, adultery, homosexuality, prostitution and impurity, is sin and is outside of God's design. Flee sexual immorality, every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body 1 Corinthians 6:18. We also affirm that our struggle is real, for we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places Ephesians 6:12. The enemy prowls as a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour 1 Peter 5:8, yet we are called to submit ourselves therefore to God, resist the devil and he will flee from us James 4:7.

We also gently encourage you regarding how you have presented this request, for you thanked the Lord Almighty but did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We want to lovingly remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father, for Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life, no one comes to the Father except through me John 14:6, and there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. It is by believing in our hearts that God raised Jesus from the dead and confessing Him as Lord that we are saved Romans 10:9. So we come to the Father in Jesus name alone, not by our own declarations of taking back, but by humbly asking God to restore, protect and bless according to His will, for vengeance belongs to the Lord and He is our defender and provider.

We also lift up the burden of debts you mentioned. We know the weight that financial pressure can place on a marriage, and we pray for wisdom, diligence and provision, remembering the promise that my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:19, and the counsel to owe no one anything except to love one another Romans 13:8.

Father in heaven, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ we come before You on behalf of this marriage and this family. We ask You to place Your hedge of protection around this husband and wife, to cleanse and guard their union from every work of witchcraft, defilement and impurity, and to let no weapon formed against them prosper. Wash them in the blood of Jesus, renew their minds and hearts, and make their marriage a testimony of Your faithfulness. Lord, restore to them the joy of marital intimacy that You created, bless the fruitfulness of the womb according to Your word to be fruitful and multiply Genesis 1:28, and establish between them deep harmony, attachment, true intimacy, privacy and supernatural accord that only You can give. Heal any wounds, break every chain of sexual immorality and confusion, and fill their home with consistent peace and happiness rooted in Christ. Grant them wisdom to steward finances with integrity, to be delivered from debts and to walk in Your provision and contentment. And Father, we also ask for that heavy abundant rain of blessing upon marriages throughout Your worldwide Church, that in 2026, 2027, 2028, 2029, 2030 and beyond You would strengthen husbands and wives to love each other as Christ loved the Church, to remain faithful, fruitful and united for Your glory. Let Your will be done in their lives and in every Christian marriage, and draw each of us closer to Jesus, in whose name we have eternal hope. Amen.

Thank you for letting us pray with you about your marriage. We hear how deeply you want your marriage to be strong, faithful, joyful and close, with real harmony and intimacy between husband and wife, and how much you long to see that same flourishing in marriages across the church in the years ahead.

We know it can feel heavy when it seems so much is pressing against that good desire. One thing we have seen help many couples is making their marriage the safest place on earth for each other. When both people feel safe, hearts naturally open and closeness grows without being forced. Safety is the foundation for trust, affection and honest conversation.

A gentle next step you might try together is to set aside quiet, unhurried time this week to talk and really listen to each other. You could ask, what helps you feel safe and cherished with me, what leaves you feeling unsure or distant, and what is one small way I can help you feel more secure this week. Even asking on a simple scale how safe the marriage feels right now can open a caring conversation. Steady, kind listening over time builds the attachment and unity you are praying for.

We are standing with you in prayer for your home and for many homes in the body of Christ.

Father, we bring this marriage to You and ask for Your peace and protection over it. Give this husband and wife wisdom, healing where there has been hurt, and a renewed sense of unity, tenderness and joy together. Help them walk closely with You and with each other. Your burden concerning marriage, debts, and the assaults of spiritual enemies has been brought before the Lord with earnest prayer, and there is comfort in knowing that deliverance is wholly of God.

Scripture teaches that we have been delivered from worse enemies than any earthly foe, and saved by a greater salvation through the Lord Jesus Christ. Deliverance from the power of sin is as much the work of God as deliverance from the guilt of sin, and where we look for justification there must also we look for sanctification. It is not of him that wills, nor of him that runs, but of God that shows mercy. He has found a ransom, and there is music in that word for the sinner slipping down to the pit, for God says, Deliver him from going down to the pit, I have found a ransom. That ransom is Christ Jesus our Lord, and through His blood alone we have hope of being brought forth not only forgiven but enriched, as Israel was brought forth with silver and gold.

In this light we pray for you according to the holy and good design of God for marriage. Marriage is the lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and it is within that covenant alone that the Lord has ordained the intimate union, privacy, fruitfulness and deep complicity of husband and wife to be enjoyed in purity and honour. Whatever is outside that covenant, whether fornication, impurity, or the confusion of what God has made male and female, is not to be celebrated or blessed, but to be repented of and forsaken, and from it we must seek deliverance by the power of Christ. We do not ask God to bless what He calls sin, but we do ask Him to cleanse, to restore, and to make holy.

So we entreat the Lord for you, that He would grant deliverance from every defilement and snare, from all witchcraft and temptation, and from every work of darkness that would trouble your home. We ask that He would strengthen the bond between husband and wife in supernatural accordance, in harmony, in faithfulness and in chaste affection, that your union may flourish in holiness and in consistent happiness to His glory. As Peter was restored not by his own resolve but by the look of his Lord and the grace that prayed for him, so may you know that same restoring grace which lifts the fallen and strengthens the brethren.

Concerning debts and worldly care, we pray that He who brought His people forth would also provide for your needs and teach you to walk in wisdom and stewardship, that you may be free to serve Him without encumbrance and to declare His works. The believer after affliction can say, I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord, and if we had no troubles we would have less to declare.

We join with you in asking for a heavy and abundant rain of blessing upon biblical marriages in all the churches of Christ in these years to come, that households worldwide may be settled, fruitful, and established in the fear of the Lord, to the praise of His free grace.

May the Lord keep you, sanctify your home, supply your need, and cause you to stand fast in the liberty wherewith Christ has made us free, giving all honour for every deliverance to Him alone. Amen.

Your prayer for your marriage, for freedom from debt, and for joy and fruitfulness in your union has been heard, and we join you in bringing these burdens before the Lord.

Marriage is a bond ordained by God, honorable and pure. Scripture teaches that it is to be adorned not with impurity or disorder, but with faithfulness, love, reverence, and peace. Holiness in marriage means a chaste and orderly life together, where husband and wife belong to one another, guard their intimacy, and keep their union from all defilement. When lived in this way, marriage is not a hindrance to the life of faith, but a place where grace can flourish. It is not the gift itself that harms us, but the misuse of it, and when it is used with moderation, gratitude, and self control, it bears good fruit.

We understand your concern about spiritual opposition. The enemy does work to bring division, temptation, and impurity into homes, but our victory is not found in claiming power from others or in elaborate formulas, but in Christ himself, who has overcome, and in a life of steady prayer, repentance, and forgiveness. We have each been forgiven a great debt, far larger than we could repay, and having received that mercy fresh from the Master, we are called to walk in that same mercy toward one another, not allowing bitterness or impurity to take root. We are called to follow peace with all people and holiness, and to encourage one another daily in love and truth, for you who live together know each other's needs and can help one another more than anyone else can.

So we pray for you now.

Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ your Son, who alone is our salvation and our hope, we ask for your mercy and protection over this marriage. Wash away all impurity and set this union apart for holiness. Grant to this husband and wife a deep and lasting peace, true harmony, faithful love, and a protected intimacy that belongs only to them. Teach them to cherish one another with tenderness, to speak to one another with grace, and to keep their bond in purity and reverence. Where there has been hurt or defilement, bring healing. Where there has been temptation, grant strength to turn away and to pursue what is pure.

Lord, we ask also for your provision and wisdom concerning debts. Grant diligence, good stewardship, and contentment, and open a way to meet every obligation with honesty and faithfulness. Help them to remember your faithfulness and to walk in freedom, using what you provide for your glory.

We pray for the gift of children according to your perfect will, and for fruitfulness in every good work. Let their home be built on Christ, with consistent joy, faithful love, and quiet strength that endures.

And Father, we ask for your abundant blessing upon marriages throughout your Church in 2026, 2027, 2028, 2029, 2030 and beyond. Pour out grace upon husbands and wives everywhere, that their homes may show your faithfulness, that they may live in peace and holiness, and that their love may be a witness to the world of your covenant love.
