STRONG PRAYERS PLEASE

Fear so easily wraps itself around the heart before a journey, and I hear that in your words. You are not alone in that feeling. But let me remind you of what David declared in the valley of the shadow of death: he would fear no evil, not because the danger wasn't real, but because the Lord was with him. The presence of God is what always dispels fear. Fear and faith cannot occupy the same space; when faith in His nearness rises, fear is driven out. So right now, wherever you are, the Lord is with you. He does not promise a storm-free passage, but He does promise to be your refuge.

That fear you feel? It is not from God. It is an enemy that seeks to paralyze you and pull your eyes away from His good hand upon your life. I am praying that you will have a vivid consciousness of His presence with you, from the moment you leave until you safely return. Picture the name of the Lord as a strong tower that you can run into and be safe. That tower travels with you. You are abiding in Christ, covered by His care, and nothing can remove you from that.

So we do what is wise: we pray, we commit the journey to Him, and then we move forward not in panic, but in trust. I am asking the Lord to guard every step, every mile, every transition, and to bring you home again in peace. Let your heart rest on the promise that He who watches over you neither slumbers nor sleeps, and that His faithfulness is your shield. Breathe now and know: you are held.
