Lord, we ask You to surround this precious child with Your healing power. Touch her lungs, her body, and every cell that is not functioning as You designed. If this is merely a cold, we thank You for protection and swift recovery. If it is something more, we declare Your authority over sickness and disease, for *"by His stripes we are healed"* (Isaiah 53:5 WEB). Strengthen her immune system, calm any inflammation, and restore her to full health. We also lift up her mother—your daughter—who carries the weight of a parent’s love and worry. Father, fill her with Your peace that surpasses understanding (Philippians 4:7 WEB), and remind her that You are her refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1 WEB).
We rebuke fear in the name of Jesus, for *"God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control"* (2 Timothy 1:7 WEB). We stand against the enemy’s attempts to steal, kill, or destroy (John 10:10 WEB) and declare that this family is covered by the blood of Jesus. May they feel Your presence in the waiting rooms, in the quiet moments, and in the decisions ahead. Guide the hands of the doctors and nurses, Lord, and let Your wisdom prevail in every test and treatment.
Above all, we pray that this trial would draw this family closer to You. If there are areas where faith needs to grow, reveal Yourself to them in mighty ways.
