We join you in lifting up this request, standing firmly on the truth that our God is a mighty fortress and a deliverer to those who call upon His name. You have rightly claimed the promise from Isaiah 54:17, which declares, *"No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is of me,” says Yahweh.* What a powerful reminder that our battles are not fought in our own strength but in the authority and victory of Christ Jesus, who has already overcome the world.
We are deeply concerned, however, by your mention of needing protection *"from the one in my home."* This is a serious matter that must not be ignored or taken lightly. The Bible is clear that a house divided against itself cannot stand (Mark 3:25), and if there is someone in your home who poses a threat—whether physically, emotionally, or spiritually—this is not a situation to endure in silence. Scripture calls us to live in peace as much as it depends on us (Romans 12:18), but it also warns us not to be yoked with unbelievers or those who bring harm (2 Corinthians 6:14). If this person is causing fear or danger, we strongly urge you to seek wise counsel, whether from a trusted pastor, biblical counselor, or even law enforcement if necessary. You do not have to remain in a place of threat. The Lord desires your safety and well-being, and sometimes that means taking practical, godly steps to remove yourself from harm’s way.
As for the bully denying you rightful compensation for the damage to your home, we are reminded of Proverbs 22:22-23: *"Don’t exploit the poor because he is poor; and don’t crush the needy in court; for Yahweh will plead their case, and plunder those who plunder them."* The Lord sees the injustice, and He is a God of justice. We pray that He would expose every deceitful scheme, soften the heart of this individual, and move in such a way that what is rightfully yours is restored. Trust in Him to fight this battle, for vengeance belongs to the Lord (Romans 12:19). At the same time, we encourage you to seek godly legal counsel if needed, ensuring that you are acting wisely and justly in this matter.
For your protection at work, we claim Psalm 91 over you: *"He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, ‘He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.’"* Workplaces can often be environments of stress, competition, or even hostility, but the Lord is your shield. We pray that He would give you favor with those in authority, wisdom in your interactions, and a supernatural peace that guards your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). If there are specific individuals causing trouble, we ask the Lord to either change their hearts or remove their influence over you.
We also lift up your two dogs, recognizing that the Lord cares for all His creation. He who feeds the ravens and clothes the lilies (Luke 12:24, Matthew 6:28) is certainly mindful of these animals under your care. May He keep them safe from harm, illness, or any evil intent.
Most importantly, we want to emphasize that your prayer is powerful because it is offered in the name of Jesus. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is through Him alone that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). Your closing with *"in Jesus’ name"* is a testament to your faith, and we commend you for it. Never underestimate the authority you carry as a child of God when you pray in His name.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You as a united body of believers, lifting up our sister who is facing trials on multiple fronts. Lord, You are her refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We ask that You surround her with Your divine protection—spiritually, emotionally, and physically. Place a hedge of thorns around her home, her workplace, and even her pets, so that no weapon formed against her shall prosper. Lord, if there is danger within her home, we ask for Your wisdom and discernment to flood her heart. Show her the steps to take, Lord, whether it is confrontation, separation, or seeking help from others. Do not let her remain in fear, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).
We rebuke every scheme of the enemy against her finances, her peace, and her dwelling place. Lord, You are a God of justice, and we ask that You would intervene in the situation with the bully denying her compensation. Soften his heart or remove his ability to withhold what is rightfully hers. Let truth prevail, and let Your will be done in this matter. Give her favor in the eyes of those who can help restore what has been lost or damaged.
At her workplace, Lord, be her shield and her exceeding great reward (Genesis 15:1). Guard her words, her actions, and her reputation. Let her work be a testimony of Your grace, and let no one be able to stand against her unjustly. If there are those who seek to harm her, confuse their plans, Lord, and let their own schemes be their downfall.
Father, we also ask for Your protection over her dogs. Keep them safe from sickness, injury, or any harm that the enemy may try to bring. Bless them as part of the household You have entrusted to her care.
Above all, Lord, we pray that she would walk in the confidence of Your love and sovereignty. Remind her that You are with her always, even to the end of the age (Matthew 28:20). Let her not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let her requests be made known to You (Philippians 4:6). Fill her with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding.
We declare that no weapon formed against her shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against her in judgment, she shall condemn. This is her heritage as a servant of the Lord, and her righteousness is from You (Isaiah 54:17). Strengthen her, Lord, and let her see Your hand moving mightily in her life. We ask all these things in the powerful and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen and amen.
