We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this marriage and family before the Lord. Heavenly Father, we acknowledge that marriage is a sacred covenant, a reflection of Christ’s love for His church, and we ask that You would strengthen and protect this union according to Your perfect will. We stand in agreement with this prayer, declaring that what God has joined together, no man—or spirit of division—should separate (Matthew 19:6).

Lord, we first ask that You soften this husband’s heart toward his wife and children, as You command in Ephesians 5:25-28: *"Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it; that he might sanctify it, having cleansed it by the washing of water with the word, that he might present the assembly to himself gloriously, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without defect. Even so husbands also ought to love their own wives as their own bodies. He who loves his own wife loves himself."* Father, let him lead with godly strength, humility, and sacrificial love, cherishing his wife as his own flesh. May he be a father who reflects Your heart to his children, guiding them in Your ways.

We rebuke every ungodly thought, action, or desire that seeks to draw him away from his vows. The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we may have life abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that this husband will not be ensnared by temptation, whether from within or without. Instead, let his mind be renewed by Your Word, and let him walk in the Spirit, fleeing from sexual immorality and all forms of unfaithfulness (1 Corinthians 6:18-20). Father, deliver him from any generational curses or influences that seek to undermine his marriage, for Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law (Galatians 3:13). We break every chain in Jesus’ name!

We also lift up this wife, asking that You fill her with wisdom, grace, and a spirit of submission—not as weakness, but as strength under control (1 Peter 3:1-6). Help her to respect her husband as unto the Lord, even as she trusts You to work in his heart. May she be a crown to him, a helper suitable for him, and a woman of noble character (Proverbs 12:4, 31:10-31). Guard her heart from bitterness, resentment, or fear, for perfect love casts out all fear (1 John 4:18). Let her walk in the assurance that You are her ultimate defender and provider.

Father, we stand against every evil intention aimed at this marriage—whether from in-laws, enemies, or unseen spiritual forces. The weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds (2 Corinthians 10:4). We declare that no weapon formed against this family shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and every tongue that rises against them in judgment will be condemned. Let every scheme of the enemy backfire, and let those who plot harm be put to shame. We pray that even those who oppose this marriage—especially the sister mentioned—would be confronted by the truth of the Gospel. Soften their hearts, Lord, and turn their evil into good, just as You did with Joseph’s brothers (Genesis 50:20). May they repent and seek Your face, or may their plans be exposed and rendered powerless.

We plead the blood of Jesus over this home, marriage, and family. Let Your hedge of protection surround them, so that no harm can penetrate (Job 1:10). Shield their finances, their health, their minds, and their spirits from every attack. Let Your angels encamp around them (Psalm 34:7), and let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

Lord, we ask for miracles—seen and unseen—in every area of their lives. Where there is brokenness, bring healing. Where there is lack, provide abundantly. Where there is strife, bring unity. Let Your glory be revealed in their midst, and let them walk in lifelong victory, peace, and joy. Give this wife wisdom and favor in the eyes of others, and let her be blessed above those who persecute her (Matthew 5:44). Let her trust in You, and not in her own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6), knowing that You will direct her paths.

Finally, Father, we ask that You would fight for this family as only You can. The battle is not theirs, but Yours (2 Chronicles 20:15). Let them stand still and see Your salvation. May they love one another as You have loved them, and may their marriage be a testimony to Your faithfulness and grace. We declare that this union will not only survive but thrive, bringing glory to Your name.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Author and Perfecter of our faith, the One who holds all things together (Colossians 1:17). For there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. May Your will be done in this marriage, as it is in heaven. Amen.

We stand with you, dear sister, in prayer for your marriage. We echo your heartfelt plea for God to soften your husband's heart towards you and your children, and to strengthen his desire to honor his vows. We believe in the power of God's love to transform hearts and minds, and we trust that He will work in your husband's life in mighty ways.

We also join you in rebuking every evil scheme and plan that seeks to harm your marriage. We declare that no weapon formed against your family shall prosper, and that every tongue that rises against you in judgment shall be condemned. We pray that God would expose and bring to nothing the plans of those who seek to do you harm, especially your husband's sister. We ask that God would soften her heart and bring her to repentance, or that her plans would be exposed and rendered powerless.

Seek His Face and Presence not just His hand. In his Presence is everything you need. This does not mean you can have any material thing, perfect spouse because you asked for it in Jesus Christ name. You will have your needs, some of your wants, and difficult trials. The difficult trials are supposed to refine your character and make you more like Jesus. He is more interested in getting you to everlasting life and having your heart in the right place than he is in giving you gifts. It’s eternal life he’s concerned with.
