Your heartfelt request for peace in this time of stress and exhaustion has been received with prayer and care. It is good and right to turn to the Lord when you feel weary and weighed down, for He sees your burden and hears your cry.
Scripture shows us that peace is one of the greatest gifts of God. It is the mother of all good things and the foundation of joy. Jesus invites all who are weary, saying, Come to me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. He does not call only a few, but all who are anxious and sorrowful, and He promises not only to forgive but to place you in security and true rest. There remains a rest for the people of God, and the apostle teaches that if we live in peace, the God of love and peace shall be with us. This peace is more than quiet circumstances. It quiets the war within, when thoughts and desires are brought into order before God, and it allows us to lead a calm and peaceable life in godliness and honesty.
Let us pray together. Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, I lift up this weary heart to You. You know the stress and the exhaustion, and You understand every care. Pour out Your peace that passes all understanding to surround and guard heart and mind. Still the inner turmoil, renew strength, and grant deep rest for body and soul. Teach how to cast every anxiety upon You, for You care with great love, and help to walk each day trusting in Your presence as the God of love and peace who draws near to those who seek You. Grant quietness of soul and confidence that You are at work for good.
Continue to bring every worry to God in prayer, day by day, and rest in His care. He is faithful to give rest to those who come to Him, and His peace will sustain and uphold you.
