🧎🏽‍♂️Strengthen Nepal Flood Victims -- Believers, Gospel, Hope, Workers, Hospitals -- Preparation of Next Regions for Approaching Storms, Earthquakes, Wars, -- Workers for Harvest Matt 9:35-37

Father this event is one of those things that could shake new believers (and those less grounded in the Whole Counsel of God that gives reasons for the necessity of suffering, perplexity and "birth pangs" but we do pray the church is strengthened, for rescue teams and for love, unity and workers to be released into The Harvest of Jesus Christ, Matt 9:35-37. Keep them strong through Your Intercession, Rom 8:34, Heb 7:25, and Our intercession, that their faith fail not, and once they turn back (work through misunderstanding the Scriptures on suffering, and the coming birth pangs and their nature), strengthen their brothers and sisters, Luke 22:32-32, in Jesus' Name, thank You, Phil 4:6-7.

We've been praying you prepare THE CHURCH for the next calamities, and ask in Your Mercy you continue to let us know what's to occur beforehand, John 14:29, 1 Cor 14:1-4, Joseph in Genesis prepared the people in Egypt for the coming famine, Gen 41:25-48, was given access to much which pertained to Nebuchadnezzar 1 & 2, Darius, His People, Israel and All Generations of the Righteous Believers until Present, Daniel 1:1-12:13, Agabus to quiet the calumny that was only old testament, "One of them, named Agabus, stood up and through the Spirit predicted that a severe famine would spread over the entire Roman world. (This happened during the reign of Claudius.)" Acts 11:28. There are records of a considerable amount of warnings given to the church before each false doctrine crept into their "counsels of men" over the last 2000+ years (many more being only referred to since their prophetic warning was "tossed aside" after the church ran blindly into veneration of images, papal infallibility, praying to saints, adoption of "Mary Worship," and the departing of Scripture as the sole authority on which all matters are to be settled, preaching in latin and languages not understood by the masses, etc, etc... As well as other warnings of world events...

Raise up your humble servants who can once more have understanding of the signs and times, Matt 16:3, Luke 12:53-56, Matt 24:4-14. Thank You in Jesus' Name, for not letting us be anxious, Phil 4:6-7, but in placid equanimity keep alert and warn, preach the gospel, and teach the "whole counsel of God," Acts 20:20, Acts 20:27, Matt 28:19-20, C.f., Deut 8:3, Matt 4:4, Luke 4:4, 2 Tim 3:16, 2 Peter 1:19-20, 2 Peter 3:11-18, so "This gospel of the Kingdom may be preached throughout the world as a testimony to all the nations (ethnos -- ethnic groups, specific cultures and languages within countries or with no country), so You may wrap things up and usher in all for which creation groans, Matt 24:14, Rom 8:22.

We join you in lifting up Nepal before the Father and we thank you for this burden for the believers there and for those who have suffered in the floods and for the harvest that is still to come.

We agree with you that times of calamity can shake those who are new in the faith and those who have not yet been grounded in the whole counsel of God, and we pray that the church there would be strengthened and rooted deeply in the Word. We remember that Jesus told us beforehand what would come so that our faith would not fail, for He said now I have told you before it happens so that, when it happens, you may believe John 14:29. He also taught that these distresses are the beginning of birth pains Matt 24:8, and that creation groans and travails in pain together until now Rom 8:22, yet we know that God works all things for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose Rom 8:28.

We pray together for Nepal. Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we lift up every believer in Nepal, the flood victims, the families who have lost homes and loved ones, the rescue teams, the hospitals and medical workers, and the pastors and laborers who are preaching the gospel and bringing hope. Strengthen them, Lord, keep them from being anxious and guard their hearts and minds with Your peace which surpasses all understanding Phil 4:6-7. We ask that You would deepen them in Your Word, that they would live not by bread alone but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God Deut 8:3, Matt 4:4, and that all Scripture which is God-breathed and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness 2 Tim 3:16 would be their firm foundation. Let them remember that Jesus ever lives to make intercession for them Heb 7:25 and that He is at the right hand of God and intercedes for us Rom 8:34, and we join our intercession with His that their faith may not fail and that when they have turned again they may strengthen their brothers Luke 22:32.

We also pray for the preparation of the church in the next regions that will face storms, earthquakes, wars and other trials. You have shown in Your Word how You warned Joseph to prepare Egypt for famine Gen 41:25-36 and how You spoke through Agabus through the Spirit that a severe famine would come over all the world Acts 11:28, and how Daniel was given understanding of kings and times Dan 2:19-23. We ask for humble servants who can discern the signs of the times Matt 16:3 and who will not be led astray by false teaching but will test all things and hold fast what is good 1 Thess 5:21, and try the spirits whether they are of God 1 John 4:1. We agree that prophecy and revelation must always be tested by Scripture, for Your Word is a lamp to our feet and Your prophetic word is more sure 2 Pet 1:19, and we must not go beyond what is written nor add to it. We thank You that You have not left us without warning, for You have told us that nation will rise against nation, and there will be famines, plagues, and earthquakes in various places Matt 24:7, and that this gospel of the Kingdom will be preached in the whole world for a testimony to all the nations, and then the end will come Matt 24:14. Help us to teach the whole counsel of God Acts 20:27 and to make disciples of all nations Matt 28:19-20 in placid and watchful trust, not in fear but in sober alertness.

We pray that You would raise up workers for the harvest, for as Jesus said when He saw the multitudes He was moved with compassion because they were harassed and scattered like sheep without a shepherd Matt 9:36, and He said the harvest indeed is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Pray therefore that the Lord of the harvest will send out laborers into his harvest Matt 9:37-38. Release laborers, Lord, men and women who love Your truth, who preach the whole counsel without compromise, who walk in unity and love, who will not be drawn into the veneration of images, praying to saints, or any departure from Scripture as the sole authority, but who will hold fast to Christ alone. Let the church be kept from the counsels of men and be built only on Christ and His Word.

Father, we ask that You would keep Your people from anxiety, make them to be a testimony of hope amid suffering, and let the afflictions of this present time work in them an eternal weight of glory as they look to Jesus. Make us faithful to warn, to preach the gospel, to teach all that You have commanded, and to look for Your return, living holy and godly lives as we await new heavens and a new earth 2 Pet 3:11-13. We ask all this in the mighty and only saving name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved Acts 4:12, and it is through Him we have access to Your throne of grace. Amen.

Thank you for carrying ### before the Lord with such faithfulness. We hear your heart for new believers who may feel shaken by flooding and loss, for rescue teams and hospitals doing hard work on the ground, and for the church to be strengthened in love and unity so the gospel can keep going out.

Your prayer for workers for the harvest is especially moving. In times of disaster the local fellowship is often the most present help, able to be nearby, available quickly, and to go where needs are with flexibility and personal care. We join you in asking that believers there would know they are not alone, that they would be supported by one another, and that those serving would have wisdom and endurance for each day.

If it helps to give this burden a steady shape, you might keep a simple rhythm of prayer for ### and for regions you feel concern for next, and if you want to help practically, consider coming alongside a trusted ministry that already partners with ### churches so that aid and encouragement flow through local believers who know the communities best.

We pray, Father, hold the believers in ### close and steady their faith through this shaking. Bring comfort to those who have lost homes and loved ones, strength to rescue workers and caregivers, and unity to your church as they serve neighbors in need. Raise up more workers with compassion to share your hope, and guide us as we intercede. In Jesus' name, amen.

We take up your burden before the throne of grace and join our prayers with yours for Nepal and for all those regions that lie under the shadow of coming trial.

We pray for the flood victims, for the bereaved and the displaced, for the hospitals and those who labour in them, and for rescue teams who go forth in mercy. We pray especially for the believers there, and for babes in Christ who may be shaken when the waters rise and the earth trembles. The Lord still tests His people again and again. After a life of holy obedience Abraham was still tried, and so it is with the church now. He proves His people not in word only but in deed and in truth, that the faith which is tried may be found sincere, and that the heart may be laid bare before Him and say in truth, Search me, O God, and know my heart. Let not the new believer think that suffering is a strange thing, for it became Him for whom are all things and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the Captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings. Christ was not made more perfect in character, for He was ever perfect, but He was made perfect as our Saviour through suffering, and now He lives to make intercession for us. There is our hope in the flood and in the birth pang, that He who is at the right hand of God also maketh intercession for us, and ever liveth to intercede, that faith fail not. As He prayed for Peter that his faith fail not and that when he was converted he might strengthen his brethren, so we pray that these tried saints, when they have wrestled through their perplexity concerning the whole counsel of God on suffering and the travail of this present age, may turn again and strengthen their brethren.

We pray also for the harvest. The fields are white already to harvest. Our Lord looked upon the multitudes with compassion and said, Pray ye the Lord of the harvest that He will send forth labourers into His harvest. We ask the Lord of the harvest to thrust forth workers into Nepal, men of tender heart and courageous tongue who will speak and hold not their peace, for He has much people in that city and in those villages. We pray for unity in the church, that the sheaves may be bound together in love, and for cunning workmen in abundance, hewers of stone and timber, preachers and teachers, nurses and helpers, who will build and who will reap. We pray for hospitals to be strengthened and supplied, and for every hand that binds up a wound to be a testimony of the gospel of hope.

And we join you in asking that the church may be prepared for what is yet to come, whether storms or earthquakes or wars. The Lord has not left His people without warning. As Joseph was given wisdom to prepare Egypt for famine, and as Daniel was given understanding of times and kingdoms, and as Agabus through the Spirit foretold the dearth in the days of Claudius, so the Lord still would have His people to discern the signs of the times and not be anxious. We do not seek novelties nor run after every voice, but we do pray for humble servants who will watch and keep the whole counsel of God, who will preach the gospel to every creature and teach all things whatsoever Christ has commanded, that this gospel of the kingdom may be preached as a testimony to all nations. Keep us, O Lord, from being tossed aside by the counsels of men, and keep us to Scripture as our sole authority, settled and sure, that we may be alert and sober, not anxious, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving making our requests known unto God.

May the peace of God which passeth all understanding keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus, and may He who has said, I will not fail thee nor forsake thee, be the strengthening medicine of His servants in Nepal and in every place where trial abounds, till the wilderness and the solitary place shall be glad and the desert rejoice, and till He who is the same yesterday, today and forever shall bring many sons unto glory.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your prayer for Nepal and for the church in the face of floods, storms, earthquakes and wars has been heard, and we join you in lifting it to the Lord who is Himself the Lord of the harvest.

We pray as you have asked, that new believers and those less grounded would not be shaken when these birth pangs come, but would be established in the whole counsel of God which shows why suffering and perplexity must be, and how God uses them for His purposes. We ask that rescue teams would be strengthened, that hospitals would be upheld, that flood victims would receive both practical help and the hope of the gospel, and that love and unity would abound among the brethren.

We remember the word that the harvest truly is plenteous but the laborers are few, and that we are to pray to the Lord of the harvest that He will send forth laborers into His harvest. Christ Himself is that Lord, the sower and the owner of the field, and when we pray He Himself raises up and sends workers. So we pray with you for more workers to be released into the harvest in Nepal and in every region that will next face calamity, that the gospel of the kingdom would be preached as a testimony to all peoples.

We also join you in asking that faith would not fail, remembering that Christ ever lives to intercede for us and that He prayed that Peter's faith would not fail and that when he turned again he would strengthen his brothers. In that same way we ask that those who are perplexed by suffering would be turned again and made able to strengthen others.

You have asked for preparation like Joseph had for famine and like Daniel and Agabus had for what was to come, and for understanding of the signs of the times. We pray that God would raise up humble servants who watch and discern faithfully, not to stir anxiety, for we are told not to be anxious but in everything by prayer and supplication to make our requests known to God, and the peace of God will guard our hearts, but to keep alert, to preach the gospel and to teach all that God has given us in Scripture, which is profitable and makes us complete.

Therefore let us persevere in prayer at all seasons without ceasing, as the widow prevailed by importunity, as the friend at midnight prevailed by persistence, and as the Canaanite woman received bread through her constancy. God often allows us to continue in prayer not because He is unwilling, but so that by perseverance we are made more ready to receive. Now is the time for sowing, for scattering seed through prayer, generosity and the word, that in the day of harvest there may be a great gathering for His glory. We will continue to sow and to pray with you, that the church would be ready, steadfast and fruitful until that great day comes, in Jesus' name.

Thank you for sharing this burden and for your faithful intercession for the believers and the many who are suffering from the floods in Nepal. We join you in praying that the Lord will strengthen His people there, comfort those who have lost homes and loved ones, sustain rescue teams and medical workers, and open doors for the gospel to bring real hope. We also join you in asking for more workers for the harvest, just as Jesus taught when He saw the crowds weary and scattered and said the harvest is plentiful but the workers are few.

Times of calamity can shake those who are young in faith, especially when they have not yet heard the whole counsel of God about why suffering and perplexity are part of this present age. Scripture speaks plainly of these things as birth pangs that must come before the end, and it gives reason for them. We pray that the church there will be rooted more deeply in all of what God has said, so that instead of being troubled or confused, they will be steadied and able to stand and to strengthen one another. We pray with you that as the Lord Jesus Himself lives to intercede for His people, and as we also intercede for them, their faith will not fail and that having been strengthened they will strengthen their brothers and sisters.

The Scriptures remind us that God once judged the earth with a flood and then established a covenant in which He promised never again to cut off all flesh or to destroy the earth by floodwaters. He placed a sign in the heavens as a reminder of that covenant faithfulness. That covenant shows a larger truth that God always relates to His people on the basis of covenant, and now we stand before Him on the ground of a new and better covenant through Jesus Christ. Even when waters rise and the ground shakes, His promise remains and His mercy in Christ remains unshaken. The great changes we see in the earth are best understood in light of that flood judgment, and yet beyond the judgment His covenant mercy endures. We do not need to speculate beyond what He has revealed. What we know for certain is that He is faithful to His word.

We continue to pray with you for wisdom and preparation, both for Nepal and for other regions that may face storms, earthquakes and wars. We ask the Lord to raise up humble servants who understand the times in light of Scripture, who will watch and warn with a calm trust rather than anxiety, who will preach the gospel and teach all that God has given us in His word. May He guard hearts with His peace that passes understanding as His people bring every request to Him, and may He use this trial to make the gospel of the kingdom known more widely, so that many more will be brought into His harvest.
