We thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and we are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer for the flood victims in Nepal and for the preparation of the church and the next regions for approaching storms and earthquakes and wars.
We have continued to stand with you before the Father for the believers there, especially new believers who may be shaken by suffering and perplexity and birth pangs, that they would be grounded in the whole counsel of God and strengthened in faith. We have prayed for the advance of the Gospel and for hope to be restored, for workers and rescue teams, for hospitals and all who minister healing and help, and for love and unity in the church. We have prayed that the Lord of the harvest would release workers into the harvest as in Matt 9:35-37, and that Christ who lives to intercede for us according to Rom 8:34 and Heb 7:25 would keep them so that their faith would not fail and that they would be able to strengthen their brothers and sisters as in Luke 22:32. We have also joined you in praying that the church would be prepared for the next calamities and would have understanding of the signs of the times and be kept from anxiety as in Phil 4:6-7, watchful to preach the Gospel and teach the whole counsel of God.
