🧎🏽‍♂️Strengthen Nepal Flood Victims -- Believers, Gospel, Hope, Workers, Hospitals -- Preparation of Next Regions for Approaching Storms, Earthquakes, Wars, -- Workers for Harvest Matt 9:35-37

Father this event is one of those things that could shake new believers (and those less grounded in the Whole Counsel of God that gives reasons for the necessity of suffering, perplexity and "birth pangs" but we do pray the church is strengthened, for rescue teams and for love, unity and workers to be released into The Harvest of Jesus Christ, Matt 9:35-37. Keep them strong through Your Intercession, Rom 8:34, Heb 7:25, and Our intercession, that their faith fail not, and once they turn back (work through misunderstanding the Scriptures on suffering, and the coming birth pangs and their nature), strengthen their brothers and sisters, Luke 22:32-32, in Jesus' Name, thank You, Phil 4:6-7.

We've been praying you prepare THE CHURCH for the next calamities, and ask in Your Mercy you continue to let us know what's to occur beforehand, John 14:29, 1 Cor 14:1-4, Joseph in Genesis prepared the people in Egypt for the coming famine, Gen 41:25-48, was given access to much which pertained to Nebuchadnezzar 1 & 2, Darius, His People, Israel and All Generations of the Righteous Believers until Present, Daniel 1:1-12:13, Agabus to quiet the calumny that was only old testament, "One of them, named Agabus, stood up and through the Spirit predicted that a severe famine would spread over the entire Roman world. (This happened during the reign of Claudius.)" Acts 11:28. There are records of a considerable amount of warnings given to the church before each false doctrine crept into their "counsels of men" over the last 2000+ years (many more being only referred to since their prophetic warning was "tossed aside" after the church ran blindly into veneration of images, papal infallibility, praying to saints, adoption of "Mary Worship," and the departing of Scripture as the sole authority on which all matters are to be settled, preaching in latin and languages not understood by the masses, etc, etc... As well as other warnings of world events...

Raise up your humble servants who can once more have understanding of the signs and times, Matt 16:3, Luke 12:53-56, Matt 24:4-14. Thank You in Jesus' Name, for not letting us be anxious, Phil 4:6-7, but in placid equanimity keep alert and warn, preach the gospel, and teach the "whole counsel of God," Acts 20:20, Acts 20:27, Matt 28:19-20, C.f., Deut 8:3, Matt 4:4, Luke 4:4, 2 Tim 3:16, 2 Peter 1:19-20, 2 Peter 3:11-18, so "This gospel of the Kingdom may be preached throughout the world as a testimony to all the nations (ethnos -- ethnic groups, specific cultures and languages within countries or with no country), so You may wrap things up and usher in all for which creation groans, Matt 24:14, Rom 8:22.

We join you in lifting up Nepal before the Father and we thank you for this burden for the believers there and for those who have suffered in the floods and for the harvest that is still to come.

We agree with you that times of calamity can shake those who are new in the faith and those who have not yet been grounded in the whole counsel of God, and we pray that the church there would be strengthened and rooted deeply in the Word. We remember that Jesus told us beforehand what would come so that our faith would not fail, for He said now I have told you before it happens so that, when it happens, you may believe John 14:29. He also taught that these distresses are the beginning of birth pains Matt 24:8, and that creation groans and travails in pain together until now Rom 8:22, yet we know that God works all things for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose Rom 8:28.

We pray together for Nepal. Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we lift up every believer in Nepal, the flood victims, the families who have lost homes and loved ones, the rescue teams, the hospitals and medical workers, and the pastors and laborers who are preaching the gospel and bringing hope. Strengthen them, Lord, keep them from being anxious and guard their hearts and minds with Your peace which surpasses all understanding Phil 4:6-7. We ask that You would deepen them in Your Word, that they would live not by bread alone but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God Deut 8:3, Matt 4:4, and that all Scripture which is God-breathed and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness 2 Tim 3:16 would be their firm foundation. Let them remember that Jesus ever lives to make intercession for them Heb 7:25 and that He is at the right hand of God and intercedes for us Rom 8:34, and we join our intercession with His that their faith may not fail and that when they have turned again they may strengthen their brothers Luke 22:32.

We also pray for the preparation of the church in the next regions that will face storms, earthquakes, wars and other trials. You have shown in Your Word how You warned Joseph to prepare Egypt for famine Gen 41:25-36 and how You spoke through Agabus through the Spirit that a severe famine would come over all the world Acts 11:28, and how Daniel was given understanding of kings and times Dan 2:19-23. We ask for humble servants who can discern the signs of the times Matt 16:3 and who will not be led astray by false teaching but will test all things and hold fast what is good 1 Thess 5:21, and try the spirits whether they are of God 1 John 4:1. We agree that prophecy and revelation must always be tested by Scripture, for Your Word is a lamp to our feet and Your prophetic word is more sure 2 Pet 1:19, and we must not go beyond what is written nor add to it. We thank You that You have not left us without warning, for You have told us that nation will rise against nation, and there will be famines, plagues, and earthquakes in various places Matt 24:7, and that this gospel of the Kingdom will be preached in the whole world for a testimony to all the nations, and then the end will come Matt 24:14. Help us to teach the whole counsel of God Acts 20:27 and to make disciples of all nations Matt 28:19-20 in placid and watchful trust, not in fear but in sober alertness.

We pray that You would raise up workers for the harvest, for as Jesus said when He saw the multitudes He was moved with compassion because they were harassed and scattered like sheep without a shepherd Matt 9:36, and He said the harvest indeed is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Pray therefore that the Lord of the harvest will send out laborers into his harvest Matt 9:37-38. Release laborers, Lord, men and women who love Your truth, who preach the whole counsel without compromise, who walk in unity and love, who will not be drawn into the veneration of images, praying to saints, or any departure from Scripture as the sole authority, but who will hold fast to Christ alone. Let the church be kept from the counsels of men and be built only on Christ and His Word.

Father, we ask that You would keep Your people from anxiety, make them to be a testimony of hope amid suffering, and let the afflictions of this present time work in them an eternal weight of glory as they look to Jesus. Make us faithful to warn, to preach the gospel, to teach all that You have commanded, and to look for Your return, living holy and godly lives as we await new heavens and a new earth 2 Pet 3:11-13. We ask all this in the mighty and only saving name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved Acts 4:12, and it is through Him we have access to Your throne of grace. Amen.

Thank you for carrying ### before the Lord with such faithfulness. We hear your heart for new believers who may feel shaken by flooding and loss, for rescue teams and hospitals doing hard work on the ground, and for the church to be strengthened in love and unity so the gospel can keep going out.

Your prayer for workers for the harvest is especially moving. In times of disaster the local fellowship is often the most present help, able to be nearby, available quickly, and to go where needs are with flexibility and personal care. We join you in asking that believers there would know they are not alone, that they would be supported by one another, and that those serving would have wisdom and endurance for each day.

If it helps to give this burden a steady shape, you might keep a simple rhythm of prayer for ### and for regions you feel concern for next, and if you want to help practically, consider coming alongside a trusted ministry that already partners with ### churches so that aid and encouragement flow through local believers who know the communities best.

We pray, Father, hold the believers in ### close and steady their faith through this shaking. Bring comfort to those who have lost homes and loved ones, strength to rescue workers and caregivers, and unity to your church as they serve neighbors in need. Raise up more workers with compassion to share your hope, and guide us as we intercede. In Jesus' name, amen.
