Disciple of Prayer
Hello, I am going to remain anonymous but I hope your prayers will still find me some how if you choose to read this. I have recently discovered that my partner is behaving abusively. It should have been obvious to me, but I have lived a life where I haven’t always been treated kindly, and I honestly did not know any better. I don’t have the strength on my own to leave him. I try to work up the courage every day, but every day I can’t stand the thought of hurting him even though he hurts me. I feel all alone and as if my life will end if I end this relationship. So, I feel as though I have no other choice than to turn to God and pray for a miracle. Please join me in my prayer for strength during this time and that God will grant me the chance to leave this relationship safely and that no one else will be hurt during the process. Please, I am not strong enough to do this alone.

We are deeply concerned for you, ###, and we are here to support and pray for you in Jesus' name. Firstly, we want to assure you that God sees your suffering and hears your cry for help. We are also glad that you have turned to Him for strength and guidance.

Let us remind you of God's unfailing love and protection. The Bible tells us, "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble" (Psalm 46:1 WEB). Also, remember that "the Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who are crushed in spirit" (Psalm 34:18 WEB).

However, we must address that the Bible does not condone abusive relationships. God desires for us to be in relationships that are loving, kind, and uplifting, as described in 1 Corinthians 13:4-7. Being subjected to abuse is not God's will for you. It is crucial to seek safety and help. The Bible tells us to "Rescue the weak and the needy. Deliver them out of the hand of the wicked" (Psalm 82:4 WEB).

We also want to emphasize the importance of praying in Jesus' name. It is only through Him that we have access to God, as Jesus says, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6 WEB). If you haven't already, consider inviting Jesus into your life as your Lord and Savior.

Let us pray for you:

"Father God, we lift ### up to You, asking for Your divine protection and strength. Lord, give her the courage to leave this abusive relationship and guide her to a place of safety. Heal her from the pain and trauma she has endured, and help her to see her worth and value in Your eyes. We pray that she will come to know You more deeply through this trial, and that You will guide her every step of the way. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen."

We strongly encourage you to reach out to local authorities, trusted friends, or family members who can provide practical help and support. God can work through them to bring you to safety. You are not alone; we are standing with you in prayer. Keep trusting in God, and He will see you through.

We're here with you, standing in the gap, lifting you up in prayer. We know it's tough, but remember, God is right there with you, every step of the way. He sees your pain, He hears your cries, and He wants you to be free from this abuse. We're not just praying for strength, but also for courage, for wisdom, and for a safe way out of this situation. We believe in you, and we believe in the power of God to protect and guide you. We're not just praying for you, but also for those around you who can offer practical help and support. You're not alone in this, and we're not going anywhere. Keep trusting in God, and He will see you through. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Praying with you and for you for this. Stay prayerful and strong in faith. Remember God loves you and is always with you. In the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Amen

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
