Pray for strength for me in difficult time

Please pray for me that I can turn my life around so that me and my partner can live happy and free of temptations that will cause harm

We have heard your cry for strength in this difficult time and for power to turn your life around, and we stand with you seeking God's will together in Jesus' name. We know how heavy it feels when temptations press in and when you long for peace and happiness but feel unable to find the way forward on your own.

We want to remind you that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble, Psalm 46:1, and He promises, Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness, Isaiah 41:10. True strength does not come from our own resolve but from Christ, for I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me, Philippians 4:13, and His grace is sufficient for you, for His power is made perfect in weakness, 2 Corinthians 12:9. When temptations come, God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it, 1 Corinthians 10:13. That means we are called to take that way of escape, to flee from what harms us and to walk by the Spirit, so that we will not fulfill the lust of the flesh, Galatians 5:16, and to be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you, James 4:7.

We also want to speak with love and truth about your desire for you and your partner to live happy and free. We believe in the sanctity of marriage as a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman as outlined in the Bible, and we strongly endorse marriage rather than simply living as partners. The words boyfriend, girlfriend, or partner in Scripture are best understood as courtship with the goal being marriage to another Christian believer who shares your faith, for we are told not to be unequally yoked with unbelievers, 2 Corinthians 6:14. If you are living together or sexually involved outside of marriage, the Bible calls that fornication, and if either of you is married to another, it is adultery, and God calls us to turn away from it because it causes deep spiritual and emotional harm and keeps us from the happiness we seek. If your partnership is a same sex relationship, we must also speak plainly that God calls homosexuality immoral and forbids it, and His will is for marriage between a man and a woman. We encourage you to seek purity, to pursue holiness, and if you are a man and a woman who love each other and are both following Christ, to pursue marriage that honors God, for marriage is honorable in all, and the bed undefiled, Hebrews 13:4. Turning your life around begins with repentance, turning from sin and turning to Christ, and seeking first His Kingdom.

We noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to gently share why His name is essential. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me, John 14:6, and there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God and can be forgiven and strengthened. If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved, Romans 10:9. We encourage you to put your faith in Jesus, to confess your sins to Him, to ask Him to be Lord of your life, and to follow Him daily through prayer, reading His Word, and fellowship with a Bible believing church.

We pray together for you now. Father in heaven, we lift up this dear one to You in the name of Jesus Christ. We ask You to pour out Your strength upon them in this difficult season, to uphold them with Your righteous right hand, and to fill them with Your peace that surpasses understanding. Grant them repentance where it is needed and a true turning from every temptation that would cause harm. Give them a hatred for sin and a hunger for righteousness. If they are in a relationship outside Your design for marriage, reveal Your truth to them and give them courage to pursue purity and to honor You, and if it is Your will, lead them into a godly marriage between a man and a woman that glorifies You. Help them and their loved one to walk together in holiness, free from fornication and every snare, and to find true happiness and freedom in Christ, for if the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed, John 8:36. Draw them to Jesus, save them, wash them, and make them new. Guide their steps, provide the way of escape from every temptation, and surround them with godly counsel and support. We ask all this in the precious and only saving name of Jesus, Amen.

We encourage you to keep seeking the Lord daily, to bring every temptation into the light, to be accountable to mature believers, and to trust that God is working even this difficult time for your good as you love Him and are called according to His purpose, Romans 8:28. He is able to turn your life around and to lead you into a life that is truly happy and free because it is rooted in Him.

We hear how heavy this season has felt and how much you want a real turnaround, a steadier life free from the temptations that bring harm. Wanting that change is significant, and we are holding you in prayer as you take next steps.

Lasting change rarely happens all at once. It often grows through daily surrender and honest support, learning to loosen our grip on trying to control everything on our own and trusting God with the unknown ahead. It can also help to notice what is already good and strong in you, the hope you still carry, the small wise choices you are already making, and to build on those strengths day by day.

One practical step that helps many people is to bring the struggle into the light with one trusted person who can walk with you consistently, like a pastor or mature believer, and to name one specific situation or trigger where temptation feels strongest so you can plan a clearer boundary there. Having one person to be honest with regularly makes it harder to stay isolated.

Father, we lift our friend to You today. Give strength for this day, clear wisdom for each decision, and freedom from what harms. Lead toward what brings lasting life and peace, and surround them with steady, trustworthy support. Guide their steps and draw them close to You. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your desire to turn your life around and to seek strength in a difficult time is itself a mercy from God, and we have heard your request with prayerful care.

It is written, My times are in Your hand. Whether times are reviving or depressing remains with Him who is Lord both of time and of eternity, and we are glad it is so. Your present trial is not outside His disposal, but arranged by the highest wisdom, for God's hand never errs and if our times are in His hand, those times are ordered rightly. You may say when temptations and enemies bear very hard upon you, I am not in their hands, my times are in Your hand. This conviction is a sufficient support against fear.

Human strength is of many kinds, but in any form it will spend itself in due time. A man is nothing, but with God in him, he makes hell tremble. The promise stands, They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. If you are apart from God, your strength will die out. It is not for your safety that you should be weak, for you will be liable to many attacks and open to many injuries from sin and extremely likely to be overcome by temptation. Blessed is that man who is strong in the Lord, and in the power of His might. That strength is not found in self reliance, but in waiting upon the Lord, in patient endurance, in persevering in holiness and continuing in hope.

You have asked to live happy and free of temptations that will cause harm, and therefore we must bring before you the prayer our Lord taught us, Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. This prayer teaches us never to boast of our own strength, and never to say we shall never fall. Weakness is our strength and our strength is weakness when we trust in ourselves. The man who goes into sin willfully with his eyes open and then bends his knees and says Lead us not into temptation is not sincere. We must not live in the very element of temptation and expect to be kept from it. If we pray to be delivered from evil, we must be willing to flee from the occasions of evil and to order our lives according to God's holy will.

True happiness and true freedom are found only in Christ, for he that hath the Son hath life and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. Christ is our life, but He works in us through His Holy Spirit who dwelleth in us. Apart from Him our new life becomes faint and sickly. We cannot turn our lives around by our own resolve. While you are yet without strength, believe that Christ died for the ungodly. Salvation is through Jesus Christ alone, and He must be your soul's only hope. Cast yourself entirely upon Him, trusting not in your own goodness or resolution, but in His blood and righteousness.

Concerning your life with your partner, we cannot ask God to bless a way that runs contrary to His word, for that would not be for your good or for true happiness. God has ordained marriage to be a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and that all intimacy and dwelling together as husband and wife belongs within that covenant. To live outside of it is to live within temptation itself. If you would be delivered from temptations that cause harm, you must seek first to be made right with God through faith in Christ, and then to walk in purity before Him. This will mean confessing all sin to Him, forsaking what is contrary to His design, and seeking His grace to live chastely and uprightly, whether that be through a holy marriage entered into in the Lord according to His ordinance, or through a walk of purity and self denial while you seek His will.

We will pray for you in this way, that the Lord would give you renewing strength as you wait upon Him, that He would keep your times in His wise and loving hand, that He would lead you not into temptation but deliver you from evil, and that He would draw both you and your partner to repentance and living faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. May He grant you not only relief from trouble, but a new life that bears fruit in righteousness and true holiness, and may the glory of your strength be found in God alone.

We commend you to Him who is able to keep you from falling, and to make you stand in His grace.
