Strength, strength, strength

I am lifting you up now, asking the Lord to pour His strength into your spirit, your emotions, and your body. He knows exactly where you feel weak, and He promises to be your help.

The truth is, our own resources run out quickly, but the Lord is the strength of our lives. Just as He brought His people out of bondage with a mighty hand, He can carry you through whatever has left you weary. The person who learns to lean hard on Him, especially in the places of deepest need, finds a strength that is not their own. When you are drained, you can turn to Him and discover that He keeps the one whose heart is stayed on Him.

Be careful not to confuse a passing emotional lift with true, lasting strength. It is possible to have a strong emotional experience and still feel empty the next day. God wants to anchor your strength in something deeper, in His Word and in the quiet trust that says, "Lord, I have no might of my own, but You are my shield and my portion." That kind of faith can turn even a valley of weeping into a place of refreshment, because Jesus satisfies the thirst of the soul in a way nothing else can.

Your physical body and your emotions are not separate from your walk with God. A cheerful heart, born from resting in Him, does good like medicine, while heavy burdens can wear down both body and mind. So as you seek strength, draw near to the One who made you. Feed your spirit through prayer and the Scriptures, even if the physical man feels weak. Let your cry be, "Be not far from me, O Lord; my strength, hurry to help me." He hears that prayer.

May you find that as you wait on Him, strength is given, not always in one dramatic moment, but moment by moment as you trust Him. He will bless you with peace and cause you to go from strength to strength. In Jesus’ name, I pray you receive exactly what you need today.

We are deeply grateful that you entrusted us with your heartfelt prayer request, asking for strength—spiritually, emotionally, and physically. It has been our privilege to stand in agreement with you before the Lord, lifting up your need for His sustaining power and peace. We continue to pray that God’s mighty hand would uphold you, filling you with His unshakable strength in every area of your life.

If the Lord has already answered this prayer in ways you’ve seen or felt, we would love to hear your praise report so we can rejoice together with you. If you’re still waiting and feel the weight of this need, please don’t hesitate to post it again—we are here to keep praying alongside you, believing that God is at work even in the waiting.

May the Lord bless you abundantly as you press into Him, drawing near to Jesus, the source of all strength and peace. We pray this in His precious and powerful name. Amen.
