We understand the heaviness of a strained relationship, and we join you in lifting this burden before the Lord, knowing that He is the God of restoration and peace. The Bible reminds us in Colossians 3:13-14, *"bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, if any man has a complaint against any; even as Christ forgave you, so you also do. Above all these things, walk in love, which is the bond of perfectness."* Strife often enters when pride, unforgiveness, or selfishness take root, but God calls us to humility, patience, and love—even when it is difficult.
If this strain involves a marriage or a courtship that should be honoring God, we urge you to examine whether both parties are walking in obedience to His Word. Are there unrepentant sins, such as harsh words, bitterness, or even ungodly influences, that need to be addressed? Ephesians 4:29-32 commands us, *"Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but such as is good for building up as the need may be, that it may give grace to those who hear. Don’t grieve the Holy Spirit... Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander, be put away from you, with all malice. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You.
