We come before the Lord with you in this time of spiritual warfare, knowing that our battle is not against flesh and blood but against the powers of darkness (Ephesians 6:12). The fact that you recognize this attack and turn to God for protection is a sign of your faith, and we stand with you in agreement, lifting your request before the throne of grace.
The Word of God assures us that He is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). You do not need to fear, for the Lord has promised to never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6). He is faithful, and He will surround you with His angels, just as He did for Elisha when his servant’s eyes were opened to see the heavenly host encamped around them (2 Kings 6:16-17). The Lord is your shield and your great reward (Genesis 15:1), and He will not allow the enemy to triumph over you.
We also want to encourage you to put on the whole armor of God daily—truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God—so that you may stand firm against every scheme of the devil (Ephesians 6:10-18). Pray without ceasing, and resist the devil, knowing that he will flee from you as you draw near to God (James 4:7-8). The peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have authority over the enemy and access to the Father. Jesus said, "Most certainly I tell you, he who believes in me, the works that I do, he will do also; and he will do greater works than these, because I am going to my Father. Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it" (John 14:12-14). We must always approach God in the name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet placed your full trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so now. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). It is through this relationship with Christ that you have the authority to stand against the enemy and receive the mercy, comfort, and deliverance you seek.
Let us pray together for you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Your child who is under spiritual attack. Lord, we ask that You surround them with Your heavenly angels, encamping around them to protect them from every evil scheme of the enemy. Father, we declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we ask that You would grant them mercy, comfort, and peace that surpasses all understanding.
Lord, fill them with Your Holy Spirit and strengthen them in their inner being, that they may stand firm in the faith, resisting the devil and watching him flee. Let Your light shine in the darkness, exposing every lie and deception of the enemy. We pray for swift deliverance, Father, that You would break every chain and set them free from this attack. Restore their joy, their peace, and their confidence in You.
We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and for the victory that is already theirs through Jesus Christ. May they walk in the assurance that You are with them, and that nothing can separate them from Your love (Romans 8:38-39). We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Stand firm, dear one, and keep your eyes fixed on Jesus. The Lord is with you, and He will see you through this trial. Trust in Him, and do not be afraid, for He has already overcome the world (John 16:33). Keep praying, keep seeking His face, and He will deliver you. We are standing with you in faith!
