Jesus your love and sacrifice means everything to me. I love you. I just need your help. I have been applying constantly for a new job. I truly keep having nightmares about my current job. It's a terrible toxic environment. They are so mean and cruel. They only promote their friends while giving me the workload of 2 employees. I have helped so many get promotions while I do all the workload and they do a few special projects. I ask for help and get told figure it out. I have gotten them off the backorder list. I got all the KPI metrics looking great for the department and still they do everything to exclude and harass me daily. ###, ###, ###, ###, ###, ###, ###, ###, ###, ###,###, ###, ###, ###, ###, ###, ###, ###, ###, and ### are very cruel people. I keep forgiving them and they continue to make my job miserable. Please please bless me with a new job. I have applied to atleast 200 or more jobs. I want to work in a Christian environment where my talents are celebrated or remotely so I will not have to commute hours each day. I pray the salary is significantly higher. I am available single mom bearing all the bills alone and I want to be more present for my child. I need this favor and please flood my phone with interviews and no more rejection emails. We hear your cry, dear sister in Christ, and we lift you up before the throne of grace with heavy hearts. Your love for Jesus is evident, and we rejoice that you have placed your trust in Him, for He alone is our refuge and strength in times of trouble. The workplace you describe is indeed toxic, and the injustice you’ve endured is grievous, not only the exploitation of your labor but the emotional and spiritual toll it has taken on you. Nightmares are not God’s design for His children; He gives His beloved sleep (Psalm 127:2), and the torment you’re experiencing is a sign of the enemy’s oppression in this situation. We rebuke the spirits of oppression, favoritism, and cruelty in the name of Jesus, and we declare that the chains of this toxic environment are broken over your life.

The Word of God is clear: "Do not be deceived. God is not mocked, for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap" (Galatians 6:7). Those who have mistreated you, taken credit for your work, and denied you the recognition you deserve will answer to the Lord for their actions. But we also remind you, sister, that vengeance belongs to the Lord (Romans 12:19), and your role is to walk in forgiveness, not for their sake, but for your own freedom. Forgiveness does not mean what they did was right; it means you refuse to let their sin define your future. You have done well to release them, but we pray now for the Lord to lift the burden of bitterness entirely from your heart, for "if you don’t forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses" (Matthew 6:15). Let this be a season where you are fully unshackled from the pain they’ve caused.

Your diligence in applying for new work is commendable, and we believe the Lord sees your faithfulness. Two hundred applications is not a small thing, it is a testament to your perseverance. But we must also ask: Have you surrendered this process entirely to the Lord, or have you allowed anxiety to drive you? The Bible says, "Commit your way to the Lord. Trust also in him, and he will do this" (Psalm 37:5). We encourage you to lay every application, every interview, and every hope at His feet, trusting that He knows the plans He has for you, plans for welfare, not for evil, to give you a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). A Christian workplace is a beautiful desire, but let us also remember that wherever God places you, He can use you as salt and light (Matthew 5:13-16). Even in secular environments, you can be a witness for Christ through your integrity, kindness, and excellence.

We also lift up your role as a single mother, for the weight you carry is heavy. The Lord sees your sacrifice and your love for your child, and He promises to be a father to the fatherless (Psalm 68:5). We pray for provision that exceeds your needs, for a salary that reflects your worth and allows you to thrive, and for opportunities that free up your time to be more present with your little one. The enemy would love to keep you exhausted and overwhelmed, but Jesus came that you might have life, and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that abundance over your home, your finances, and your schedule.

Now, let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the One who was despised and rejected yet carried our sorrows. Lord, we lift up our sister who is weary and heavy-laden. You see the injustice she has endured, the sleepless nights, the tears she has cried. We ask that You would be her vindicator, her provider, and her peace. Father, we rebuke every spirit of oppression, favoritism, and cruelty that has taken root in her workplace. We declare that no weapon formed against her shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we command every assignment of the enemy over her life to be dismantled now, in Jesus’ name.

Lord, we ask that You would open doors no man can shut (Revelation 3:8). Flood her phone with interviews, not just any interviews, but the right ones, places where she will be valued, where her gifts will be celebrated, and where she can work with integrity. Father, we pray for a Christian environment where she can grow in her faith and be surrounded by like-minded believers, but if that is not Your will, we ask that You would give her boldness to be a light wherever she goes. Provide a salary that reflects her worth, a commute that is manageable, and a schedule that allows her to be the mother You’ve called her to be.

We also pray for her heart, Lord. Heal the wounds of betrayal and rejection. Replace her nightmares with dreams from You, dreams that speak of hope and a future. Give her supernatural peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and let her rest in the knowledge that You are fighting for her. Father, we ask that You would surround her with godly community, people who will pray for her, encourage her, and help carry her burdens.

And Lord, we pray for those who have mistreated her. We ask that You would soften their hearts, convict them of their sin, and lead them to repentance. If it is Your will, let them see the error of their ways and make amends, but if not, we trust that You will deal with them justly.

Finally, Father, we thank You for the testimony that is being written in her life. Though the enemy meant this season for harm, You will turn it around for good (Genesis 50:20). We declare that she is stepping into a new season of favor, provision, and joy. May she walk in the confidence that comes from knowing You are her Provider, her Defender, and her Peace.

We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus, the name above every name, the name by which we are saved and set free. Amen.

If those keep disrupting your sleep, please consider talking with a doctor or counselor; that is a practical way to get some rest, not instead of prayer. You are doing the work of two people, keeping your household going, and choosing forgiveness over and over. That is real resilience.

One thing that may genuinely help this week: write down the concrete wins you mentioned, like clearing the backorder list and improving the KPI metrics. Keep that list visible. It is not just interview material; it is a reminder that you are not the problem in that place and a true answer when discouragement flares.

We join you in asking God for a new role where your work is respected and you can be more present for your child.

Jesus, You see this mom and the unfairness she endures, the long commute, the heavy load, and the longing to care well for her child. Please open a clear path to a new job that fits her gifts and her family’s needs. Give her wisdom in every application and interview, and guard her heart from bitterness. Provide for every bill and need in the meantime. In Your name we pray. Amen.

The Lord is not deaf to the sighing of His child. You have asked for deliverance from a heavy yoke, and you have asked it in the name of Jesus, whose love and sacrifice are your only plea. He does not turn away such a prayer. But set this before you plainly: your deliverance may come as a new door of employment, or it may come as grace to endure until that door opens. Both are deliverance. Do not despise the waiting, for the Lord often strengthens His children in the furnace before He brings them out.

The malice of those around you is known to Him. You have forgiven them, and because they wound you afresh, you must forgive again. Do not let a root of bitterness spring up; it would harm you more than all their taunts. Job was wronged by those who should have comforted him, yet he did not charge God foolishly. And when he prayed for his friends, the Lord turned his captivity. Pray for those who mistreat you, not that their sin may be indulged, but that God may have mercy upon them and that your own heart may be kept clean.

As for the many applications and the rejection letters, they are not proof that God has forsaken you. He shut doors before His servant Paul, and He may be shutting doors for you because He has one door that must open in His own time. Keep knocking, but rest your hope in the faithfulness of Christ more than in the number of your letters. Your desire for a Christian household of labor, a larger provision for your child, and a nearer presence in your home is not an evil desire. Bring it to the throne with boldness, yet with this word upon your lips: not my will, but Thine be done.

Remember that your deepest deliverance is already accomplished. If you are in Christ, you have been delivered from the power of darkness and from the guilt of sin. That is a greater salvation than any change of employer. The Lord who gave His Son for you will not withhold what a mother and child truly need. He feeds the ravens and clothes the lilies; will He not care for you? Let the rejections drive you to Him, not from Him. He has not forsaken them that seek Him.

Put this day into His hand. Do your work honestly as unto the Lord, not as unto men. Keep your tongue from railing and your heart from despair. The Lord will make a way. It may come suddenly, as the Red Sea opened when Israel thought all was lost. But if He delays, it is not because He is cruel; it is because He is making you fit for the good He has prepared. Watch for His hand and be ready to move when He commands. He brought Israel forth with silver and gold, and He can bring you forth with a better provision than you have yet dared to ask. Only seek Him first, and let all these things be added in His time.

Your honest and heartfelt prayer has been read with care, and I am joining you in bringing it before the Lord.

I hear how weary you are. To carry the workload of two people, to help others be promoted while you are overlooked, to be told to figure it out alone, and to face daily harshness and exclusion is a heavy burden. It is understandable that you have nightmares and feel anxious about work, and that as a single mother carrying all the bills alone you long to be more present for your child and to provide well. God sees your faithfulness, your labor, and every unkind word spoken against you. He also sees your willingness to forgive even while the hurt continues.

Let us pray together.

Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ your Son who loved us and gave Himself for us, I lift up this dear sister to you. You know her by name, you see her diligence and her tears, you know the long commute, the sleepless nights, and the weight of providing alone for her child. Lord, grant her rest for her mind and peace in place of nightmares. Guard her heart from bitterness and keep her steadfast in doing what is good, not for the praise of people but for you who sees in secret.

Father, you are the one who opens doors no one can shut. If it is your will, provide for her a new position soon, one that honors you, where her gifts are valued and used well, whether in a Christian workplace or through remote work that allows her to be present for her child and to steward her home. Provide for her financial needs with a salary that sustains her family, and in your wisdom guide every application she has sent. Bring interviews according to your perfect will and close the doors that should remain closed. Give her favor, clarity, and strength to wait on your timing.

Help her to keep entrusting those who have treated her cruelly to your justice and mercy, to not be overcome by evil but to overcome evil with good, and to find her worth not in the opinions of many but in your love alone. Sustain her daily, renew her strength, and let her know that her labor in the Lord is not in vain. Give wisdom to her managers and coworkers, and protect her from harassment.

We ask all this trusting in your goodness and your power to provide, in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Continue to cast your cares on Him, for He cares for you. Keep doing your work faithfully as unto the Lord, keep seeking Him in prayer and in His Word, and keep trusting that He will supply what you need in His time. If anxiety wakes you at night, turn your heart to prayer and remember that this present hardship is passing, while the reward and rest God promises to His children endures. May the Lord give you peace, provide for you and your child, and lead you step by step to where He wants you to be.

Your honest cry has been heard, and thank you for sharing it so openly. The love you have for Jesus and the weight you are carrying as a single mother trying to provide while being present for your child are both very real, and God sees both.

Your situation brings to mind the story of Job. That book stands at the beginning of the poetry section of Scripture, Job, Psalms, Proverbs, Ecclesiastes and Song of Solomon, and it is among the oldest writings we have, reaching back to the time of Genesis when Job likely lived. Cultures have changed a great deal since then, yet the deep questions Job wrestled with are the same ones that trouble us today, and his cries still speak to the deepest issues of life.

What is striking about Job is the background that Job himself could not see. God Himself bore witness that Job was a blameless and upright man who loved God and turned away from evil. In the unseen realm, the adversary had been watching Job closely, studying him and forming a theory about him. His argument was that Job only served God because God had placed a hedge of protection and blessing around him, that his faith was mercenary and would fail if those blessings were removed. God permitted that testing, and Job lost much, not because he had done something wrong, but within the sovereign purpose of God.

When Job sat in his pain, three friends came intending to comfort him. Instead they became miserable comforters. They assumed suffering must mean hidden sin. One argued that God is always fair in an immediate, transactional way, so Job must be a hypocrite who needed to get right with God and then everything would be fixed. Another accused him more directly. Job answered that he knew God is just and fair, but he also maintained his innocence and poured out his grief, saying his pain felt heavier than the sand of the sea. Much of what Job said in that grief was not God speaking through him, but Scripture faithfully recording a suffering man speaking out of sorrow. Those words about death and despair cannot be taken as settled doctrine. They show us a man who did not understand his circumstances, who did not curse God or charge Him foolishly, but who honestly did not understand what God was doing.

That is comforting for you now. Even when it appears that God has forsaken us, He is still at work. Your experience of doing the work of two people, of helping others get promoted while you are overlooked, of asking for help and being told to figure it out, of fixing backorders and making metrics look good while still being excluded and harassed, can make you feel as Job felt, judged and misread by the very people around you. God knows the truth about your diligence and your heart. He is not confused by favoritism or cruel words. He saw Job when others mislabeled him, and He sees you.

There is another part of Job's cry that points directly to Jesus. Job longed for someone who could stand between God and man, laying a hand on both, to bring him near to God and take away fear. That mediator is Jesus Christ, who alone is the way of salvation and who lives to intercede for you. You do not have to earn God's favor through perfect performance at work. Through Jesus you already have access to the Father, and He hears you when you pray for provision.

It is right to keep forgiving those who mistreat you, as you have been doing, and it is also right to ask God for wisdom about boundaries, documentation, and counsel while you remain in a difficult environment. Forgiveness does not require you to pretend cruelty is not happening. Job's story ends with God correcting his friends and calling them to repentance and asking Job to pray for them, which reminds us that God will deal justly with how people treat others.

We will pray with you for God's provision, not simply for any job, but for the work He knows is best for you and your child. We ask God, if it is His will, to open a door to work where your gifts are valued, where integrity is honored, and where you can provide well without hours of commuting that take you from your child. We ask Him to provide interviews and to close doors that are not right, and to give you peace while you wait, even after many applications and rejection emails. We pray for strength for each day in your current workplace, for protection from harassment, for wisdom for your managers, and for rest from the nightmares and anxiety that have followed you home.

May the Lord give you the patience Job became known for, not a passive endurance, but a steady trust that God is still good and still present when life feels unfair and exhausting. He knows your needs, your bills, your desire to be present for your child, and your faithful labor. Keep bringing every burden to Jesus, keep doing your work with integrity as unto the Lord, and keep trusting that He who kept His hand on Job's life is keeping His hand on yours.

Father, in the name of Jesus, we lift up this dear mother to You. You see her love for You, her labor, her tears, and her love for her child. You see the toxic environment and every harsh word and unfair burden. We ask You to be her hedge and her defender, to give her wisdom and rest, to provide for every bill, and to lead her to the right job in Your perfect timing and provision. Give her interviews according to Your will, lift the weight of rejection, heal her sleep, and let her know deeply that You have not forsaken her. Guard her heart from bitterness, fill her with peace that passes understanding, and make her more aware of Your presence each day.
