We lift up this precious son before the throne of grace, joining our hearts with yours in fervent prayer. Father God, we thank You for the life of this young man and for the love his mother has for him. We ask that You indeed guide and lead him with Your holy wisdom, as Your Word declares in Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
Lord, we pray for favor to rest upon him as he navigates this process, whatever it may be. Let Your hand of protection and provision be evident in every step he takes. May he feel Your peace that surpasses all understanding guarding his heart and mind in Christ Jesus, just as Philippians 4:7 promises. Comfort him, Father, with the assurance that You are with him, even in the midst of uncertainty or challenge.
We also pray for spiritual discernment for this young man. May he grow in his relationship with You, seeking Your will above all else. If there are areas where he needs correction or encouragement, reveal them to him, Lord, and give him the courage to walk in Your ways. Help him to stand firm in his faith, resisting any temptation or distraction that may come his way.
Father, we rebuke any fear, anxiety, or doubt that may try to take root in his heart. We declare that he is more than a conqueror through Christ who strengthens him (Romans 8:37). Let him rise up with confidence, knowing that You have a plan and purpose for his life, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give him a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11).
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name, the only name by which we can come before Your throne. It is through His sacrifice and resurrection that we have access to You, and we are so grateful for the salvation and hope found in Him alone. May this son come to know You more deeply, love You more fully, and walk in the freedom and victory that is his in Christ.
