We lift up your son before the throne of grace, joining our hearts with yours in earnest prayer. Father God, we ask that You indeed guide and lead him with Your holy wisdom, as Your Word declares, "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him" (James 1:5 WEB). May Your favor rest upon him, opening doors that no man can shut and making his paths straight before him.
Lord, we pray for Your peace to surround him—a peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7 WEB). In moments of uncertainty or anxiety, remind him that You are his refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1 WEB). Let him feel Your comforting presence, knowing that You hold his future and that Your plans for him are for good and not for harm, to give him a hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11 WEB).
We also rebuke any spirit of fear or doubt that may try to take hold of him. Your Word tells us that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7 WEB). We declare that he will walk in confidence, trusting in Your promises and leaning not on his own understanding but acknowledging You in all his ways (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB).
Father, we ask that You strengthen his faith and draw him closer to You during this time. May he seek Your face continually, delighting in Your Word and meditating on it day and night (Psalm 1:2 WEB). Let this season be one of growth and deepening relationship with You, where he learns to rely fully on Your strength and not his own.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, for it is only through Him that we have access to You, and there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12 WEB). May Your will be done in his life, and may he walk in the fullness of Your blessings and purposes.
Amen.
