We lift up this precious son before the throne of grace, joining our hearts with this parent’s plea for divine guidance and favor. Father God, we ask that You would indeed go before this young man, making Your paths straight and Your wisdom unmistakable in every decision he faces. The process he is walking through is not hidden from You—You see every detail, every uncertainty, and every need. We declare that Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, will guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Let him feel Your nearness, Lord, especially in moments of pressure or doubt, and remind him that he does not walk alone.
We pray for supernatural favor—not as the world gives, but as You grant according to Your perfect will. Open doors that no man can shut, and close those that would lead him astray (Revelation 3:7-8). Give him a spirit of discernment to recognize Your voice above all others, and the courage to obey even when the path is unclear. May he seek You first in all things, trusting that You will direct his steps (Proverbs 3:5-6).
Father, we also ask that You would protect his heart from fear, anxiety, or the temptation to lean on his own understanding. Surround him with godly counsel—men and women who will speak truth, pray fervently, and encourage him in the faith. If there are areas where he has strayed from Your best, convict him gently by Your Holy Spirit and lead him to repentance. Strengthen his faith to stand firm, knowing that You are working all things together for his good (Romans 8:28).
We rebuke any spirit of confusion, delay, or discouragement that may be at work against him. In the mighty name of Jesus, we declare that this process will not overwhelm him, but rather, it will be a testimony of Your faithfulness. May he emerge from this season with a deeper trust in You, a clearer vision for his future, and a heart fully surrendered to Your will.
Above all, Lord, we pray that he would know You more intimately through this time. May his relationship with You be his anchor, his joy, and his greatest treasure. Let him walk in the fullness of who You created him to be, bringing glory to Your name in every step.
We ask all these things in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
