Father God, we come before You today on behalf of this mother’s son. We ask that You would indeed guide and lead him with Your holy hand. Grant him wisdom that surpasses human understanding, as it says in James 1:5, "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him." May Your Spirit illuminate his path, giving him clarity and discernment in every decision he faces.
We also pray for Your favor to rest upon him. Let Your face shine upon him, Lord, as You promised in Numbers 6:24-26, "May Yahweh bless you and keep you. May Yahweh make his face to shine on you and be gracious to you. May Yahweh lift up his face toward you and give you peace." Surround him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), guarding his heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Comfort him in moments of anxiety or fear, reminding him that You are his refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).

Strengthen his faith and resolve, and let him walk in the confidence of Your promises. Help him to trust in You with all his heart and not lean on his own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6). May he find his strength in You, for You are his ever-present help in times of need.
We also encourage this mother to continue covering her son in prayer, standing in the gap for him as only a parent can. Remind her that her prayers are powerful and effective (James 5:16), and that her faith in You is a shield for her son. May she find comfort in knowing that You are working all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28).
Lord, we rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or confusion that may be attempting to take root in this young man’s life. We declare that he is more than a conqueror through Christ who loves him (Romans 8:37), and that no weapon formed against him shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
