We lift up this precious son before the throne of grace, joining our hearts with yours in fervent prayer. Father God, we thank You for the life of this young man and for the love his mother has for him. We ask that You indeed guide and lead him every step of the way, just as Your Word promises in Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
Lord, we pray for wisdom to flood his mind and spirit. Grant him discernment beyond his years, that he may make decisions that honor You and align with Your perfect will. James 1:5 assures us, "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him." We claim this promise over his life today.
We also ask for Your favor to rest upon him. May doors that no man can shut swing wide open before him, and may he walk through them with confidence, knowing You are with him. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Comfort him in moments of uncertainty or fear, reminding him that You are his ever-present help in times of trouble (Psalm 46:1).
Father, we rebuke any spirit of anxiety, confusion, or doubt that may try to take root in his heart. We declare that he is more than a conqueror through Christ who strengthens him (Romans 8:37). Surround him with godly mentors, friends, and influences who will speak life and truth into him. Protect him from the schemes of the enemy, and let Your light shine brightly in every area of his life.
We pray for his spiritual growth during this season. Draw him closer to You, Lord, and let his relationship with You deepen. May he seek Your face daily, delighting in Your Word and finding joy in Your presence. Let him be a testimony of Your goodness and grace to those around him.
Above all, we ask that You would be glorified in every aspect of this process. May Your name be exalted, and may Your will be done in his life. We trust You, Father, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28).
In the mighty and precious name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
