We lift up your son before the throne of grace, joining our hearts with yours in fervent prayer. Father God, we ask that You indeed guide and lead him with Your holy wisdom, lighting his path with the lamp of Your Word. "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight" (Proverbs 3:5-6). We pray that You grant him favor in every interaction and decision he faces, surrounding him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
Heavenly Father, we also ask that You fill him with courage and strength, reminding him that he does not walk this journey alone. "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Don’t be afraid. Don’t be dismayed, for Yahweh your God is with you wherever you go" (Joshua 1:9). May he feel Your presence in tangible ways, knowing that You are his refuge and fortress, his God in whom he trusts (Psalm 91:2).
Lord, we rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or anxiety that may attempt to take root in his heart. We declare that he is more than a conqueror through Christ who loves him (Romans 8:37), and that no weapon formed against him shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We pray that he would lean not on his own strength but on Yours, for Your power is made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9).
We also encourage him to seek You daily through prayer and the reading of Your Word, for "your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light for my path" (Psalm 119:105). May he find comfort and direction in Your promises, and may his faith grow stronger as he witnesses Your faithfulness in his life.
Father, we ask that You would bless him with godly mentors and friends who will speak truth into his life, encourage him in his faith, and hold him accountable. Surround him with a community that reflects Your love and grace, so that he may be built up in his walk with You.
Above all, we pray that Your will be done in his life. May he seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, trusting that all these things will be added to him (Matthew 6:33). We commit his future into Your hands, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28).
