We lift up your son before the throne of grace, joining our hearts with yours in fervent prayer. Heavenly Father, we stand in the gap for this precious young man, asking for Your divine protection to surround him like a mighty fortress. We declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against him in judgment, You shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). Lord, we specifically pray against any form of abuse, physical, emotional, or spiritual, that may seek to harm him. You are a refuge for the oppressed and a stronghold in times of trouble (Psalm 9:9). We ask that You expose every hidden deed of darkness and bring it into the light, for nothing is hidden that will not be revealed, nor secret that will not be known (Luke 8:17).
Father, we pray that You would station Your angels around him, to guard him in all his ways (Psalm 91:11). May Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, fill his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Strengthen him with Your might, that he may stand firm against the schemes of the enemy (Ephesians 6:10-11). We rebuke every spirit of fear, anxiety, or oppression that may try to take hold of him, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).
Lord, we also pray for his spiritual well-being. May he grow in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man (Luke 2:52). Draw him closer to You, that he may know Your voice and follow Your leading. If he has not yet surrendered his life to Jesus Christ, we pray that You would reveal Yourself to him in a powerful way, that he may confess with his mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in his heart that You raised Him from the dead, for with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation (Romans 10:9-10).
We trust in Your unfailing love and mercy, Father. Thank You for hearing our prayer and for Your promise to never leave nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5). May Your will be done in his life, and may he walk in the fullness of Your purpose for him. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
