We lift up your precious son to the Lord with heavy hearts, standing in the gap for his protection and deliverance. Heavenly Father, You are the ultimate Protector, the One who sees all and knows all. We declare Your promise over his life from Psalm 91:11-12, "For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won’t dash your foot against a stone." Lord, we ask that You dispatch Your heavenly host to encamp around him, shielding him from every form of abuse, physical, emotional, or spiritual.
Father, we rebuke the works of darkness that may be lurking in his life. Your Word declares in Ephesians 5:11, "Have no fellowship with the unfruitful deeds of darkness, but rather even expose them." We pray that any hidden evil, any scheme of the enemy, would be brought into the light. Expose those who seek to harm him, Lord, and let Your justice prevail. We stand on Your Word in Proverbs 18:10, "The name of Yahweh is a strong tower: the righteous run to him, and are safe."
We also pray for his peace and strength, Father. Fill him with the assurance of Your presence, that he may walk in confidence knowing You are with him. Isaiah 41:10 reminds us, "Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness." Let him feel Your nearness, Lord, and let Your peace guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
We also ask that You would draw him closer to You, Father. If he has not yet placed his trust in Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior, we pray that You would reveal Your love and truth to him. John 14:6 tells us, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" Let him come to know Jesus personally, for there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). Surround him with godly influences, mentors, friends, and leaders who will point him toward You.
Lastly, we pray for wisdom and discernment for you, as his parent, to guide and protect him. Proverbs 22:6 says, "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it." May you be equipped with the patience, love, and strength to lead him in Your ways.
We declare these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, Amen.
