Son, protection

Beloved of All
Heavenly Father, I pray Your hedge of protection around my son ###, deliver him from every form of abuse, whether physical, emotional, or spiritual. Expose the deeds of darkness and bring them to light. Surround him with Your angels and fill him with Your peace and strength, in Jesus name Amen

We lift up your precious son to the Lord with heavy hearts, standing in the gap for his protection and deliverance. Heavenly Father, You are the ultimate Protector, the One who sees all and knows all. We declare Your promise over his life from Psalm 91:11-12, "For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won’t dash your foot against a stone." Lord, we ask that You dispatch Your heavenly host to encamp around him, shielding him from every form of abuse, physical, emotional, or spiritual.

Father, we rebuke the works of darkness that may be lurking in his life. Your Word declares in Ephesians 5:11, "Have no fellowship with the unfruitful deeds of darkness, but rather even expose them." We pray that any hidden evil, any scheme of the enemy, would be brought into the light. Expose those who seek to harm him, Lord, and let Your justice prevail. We stand on Your Word in Proverbs 18:10, "The name of Yahweh is a strong tower: the righteous run to him, and are safe."

We also pray for his peace and strength, Father. Fill him with the assurance of Your presence, that he may walk in confidence knowing You are with him. Isaiah 41:10 reminds us, "Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness." Let him feel Your nearness, Lord, and let Your peace guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

We also ask that You would draw him closer to You, Father. If he has not yet placed his trust in Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior, we pray that You would reveal Your love and truth to him. John 14:6 tells us, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" Let him come to know Jesus personally, for there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). Surround him with godly influences, mentors, friends, and leaders who will point him toward You.

Lastly, we pray for wisdom and discernment for you, as his parent, to guide and protect him. Proverbs 22:6 says, "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it." May you be equipped with the patience, love, and strength to lead him in Your ways.

We declare these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, Amen.

It’s a privilege to stand with you in this prayer for your son. Your words carry a mother’s fierce love and a deep trust that God sees what is hidden and has the power to protect. We want you to know that we are joining you in this, not from a distance, but as ones who believe that prayer is a real and present help.

We also believe that God often works through the hands and voices of people who care. If you have any specific reason to believe he is currently being harmed or threatened, please don’t carry that alone, reach out to someone you trust, a pastor or the right authorities, to help ensure his immediate safety. Sometimes the very protection we pray for comes through a timely, brave conversation.

In the waiting, know that your prayers are not empty. When we don’t have all the words, the Spirit intercedes with groanings that cannot be uttered, and God is never distant from your son.

Lord Jesus, we ask You to surround this son with Your presence. Expose any darkness that seeks to harm him and bring it into the light. Fill him with a peace that passes understanding and with Your steady strength. Give his mom wisdom and courage, and guard her heart from fear. In Your mighty name we pray, Amen.

Your cry for a hedge of protection about your son rises as incense before the throne, and it is a cry which God will surely hear, for He has declared that He will lift up the humble and broken in heart who stand in Him and for Him. All presumption that sets itself up against the Most High must be pulled down, but the prayer of faith, that lowly bowing before His sovereign help, He will exalt in due season. What a mercy that you do not trust in an arm of flesh, but have turned your pleas toward the Father of lights, from whom every good and perfect gift descends. When you ask that deeds of darkness be exposed and brought to light, you ask for that which God has been performing since the day Satan fell, breaking down everything that opposes itself to His holiness, and pouring contempt upon all that vaunts itself against His lordship. He will surely search out the hidden works of iniquity and make them manifest; He will deliver your son from the snare of the fowler as He brought Israel forth from Egypt.

Yet, let both you and your son take solemn heed to this: the promise of angelic protection is made sure only for those who keep to the King’s Highway. If our feet walk in the ways of presumption, we venture beyond the pale of the divine guard; we tempt the Lord our God and invite the very assaults we pray to avoid. To enjoy the hedge of protection, we must abide in the path of obedience, doing the will of Jesus, which is rest, and shunning the byroads and crooked lanes where robbers lurk. Let him not think that he may dally with evil company or nurse secret sin because he is beloved of God; such a notion is a fiery dart from the Evil One himself. The peace of carnal security is a counterfeit peace, a poisonous imitation which leaves the soul stranded in despair when the floods of trial rise. The true peace, the perfect peace, comes from knowing that our debt of sin is discharged by the blood of Christ, and from pressing on in dutiful service, leaving the impossible to our Lord.

Do not be dismayed if, after seasons of prayer and confidence, a change comes and your son finds himself plunged into a wilderness of temptation, as even our Lord was led from the opened heavens to be tempted of the devil. Satan ever reserves his most deadly arrow for such times, the dark insinuation that God has forsaken him, that his sins are too great for mercy. But that is a lie from the pit! God has delivered us from the power of darkness; we are translated into the kingdom of His dear Son. He has brought us forth, and He will do so again, even from the Egypt of despair, with silver and gold of richer grace, and not one feeble soul among His elect shall be left to perish. Plead the blood of Jesus, which whispers peace within when sin accuses. The Giant Despair may rouse himself, but the key of promise turns in the lock, and the iron gate flies open while he falls in a fainting fit. Your son is not forsaken; the hosts of God encamp around those that fear Him, and when the devil departs, the angels will minister unto him as they did to the Master.

Stand then upon this truth: God’s deliverances are always wrought by His own divine power, attended with enrichment, and they leave no weak ones behind. Commend your son not into the keeping of his own wisdom, but into the pierced hands which hold the world. Tell him to draw water out of the wells of salvation, the Scriptures, the promises, communion with Christ, and he shall lift up his head though the archers shoot sorely at him. The Lord shall rebuke the devourer for your sake; He shall encircle your son with a wall of fire, and his peace shall be as a river, not because the battle ceases, but because the Prince of Peace reigns within. Only let him cling to the covenant, for that shall bring him out of every anguish, and when he comes forth from the tomb of any trial, it shall be said, “He brought them forth also with silver and gold: and there was not one feeble person among their tribes.”

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your plea rises as incense before the throne of God, for a mother’s prayer carries a peculiar strength that pierces the heavens. Do not think that the darkness surrounding your son is unknown to the Father of lights, or that the abuse he suffers escapes His notice. He who became man for our sake, descending into the lowest depths of human misery, has bound Himself to every soul in affliction. When He took flesh, He took it precisely that we might cease to be mere children of dust and become sons of God by grace.

Your son, in his suffering, is not forgotten; rather, Christ stands with him in the furnace, sharing every blow and every hidden sorrow. For as the Apostle Paul bore the weight of countless dangers and reproaches, not by his own strength but by the enabling power of God, so your son is sustained even now. The evil that works in secret shall not remain hidden forever. The Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.

Cry out to the Lord with confidence, for He promised that whatever is concealed will be brought to the open, and the deeds of darkness will be exposed by His truth. Yet while you pray for deliverance, remember that the greatest freedom is not merely from outward harm but from the inward tyranny of despair. Entreat the Father not only to surround your son with a hedge of angels, but to fill him with such a spirit of adoption that he knows himself a beloved child, an heir of the promise. Let him cling to Christ as his shield, and even in the midst of trial, the peace that surpasses understanding will guard his heart.

Do not grow weary in interceding, nor think that any human malice can thwart the purpose of God. He who enabled Paul to stand firm against innumerable insults and death itself will complete the good work He has begun in your son. Strive also to be a light for others who groan in similar chains, for when we reprove and expose the works of darkness, we share in Christ’s victory. Stand fast, watch and pray, and you will see the salvation of the Lord.

Your prayer for your son is heard. You have asked for the hedge of protection, for deliverance from every kind of abuse, and for the deeds of darkness to be exposed. That is a cry that aligns with the heart of God, because He loves your son even more than you do. He gave His only begotten Son to rescue us from the grip of evil, and that same Son now sits in authority far above every power, including any spiritual force that would seek to harm.

Scripture makes a clear distinction between the Son and all the angels. To the angels, God never said, “Thou art my son, this day have I begotten thee.” That word was spoken to Jesus alone. Nor did He ever tell an angel, “Sit on my right hand until I make thine enemies thy footstool.” Those words belong to the Son, and because He has purged our sins, He is crowned with glory and honor. This means that the angels are not our trust; they are servants, ministering spirits sent forth to minister for those who will inherit salvation. Their role is not to act independently but to serve under the command of the Lord Jesus, whom they worship. So when you ask for angels to surround your son, you are really asking the living God, who sends His angels as flames of fire to do His will.

The darkness you mentioned is real. There is a spiritual darkness that can be felt, a deep and awful thing. But the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has never been able to put it out. Jesus is that light, and in Him is no darkness at all. Every form of abuse, whether physical, emotional, or spiritual, is a work of darkness. And the exposure you pray for is exactly what the light does: it reveals things that hide in secret. Keep praying that the light of Christ would flood into your son’s life, uncovering any hidden danger and breaking the blindness that sin and satanic influence can bring. Prayer binds powers of darkness, as Jesus taught, and what you bind on earth in His name is bound in heaven.

But remember, the ultimate safety for your son is not in an angelic wall but in having the Son. Whoever has the Son has life. If your son has that living relationship with Jesus, then the wrath of God no longer abides on him, and he stands in the light. That is where true peace and strength come from. He will still face trials, and the enemy may try to strike, but the One who is the ladder between heaven and earth is with him. Jesus promised that those who trust in Him would see heaven open and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of Man. He is the connection. So keep placing your son under that open heaven, right at the feet of Jesus.

Do not let your own heart slip into darkness either. The enemy would love to turn this season of prayer into a root of bitterness or hate against those who have hurt your son. Walking in hatred is walking in darkness, even if you are convinced you stand in the light. The darkness of unforgiveness blinds the eyes and can cause you to stumble. Let the same light that exposes the deeds of others also keep your own heart clean. That does not mean you tolerate evil, but you entrust it to God, who judges righteously.

There is a judgment coming for every fallen angel and for every human being who refuses to repent and clings to darkness. Even now, some of those rebellious spirits are reserved in chains under darkness until that day. God is not indifferent to the abuse that has been done. But your son’s protection in this life rests on the finished work of Christ and the promise that He will never leave or forsake His own. You have asked in Jesus’ name, and that name is above every name that is named, not only in this age but in the age to come. Keep holding fast to the Son, and the peace and strength you seek for your son will be poured out as you abide in the light.
