Son healing

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Father God, I come before You in the name of Jesus to ask for Your healing touch upon my son. Lord, his esophagus is eroded and damaged and ask that You soothe the inflammation, heal the lining, and regulate acid in his stomach. I also pray for his lungs and respiratory system. I ask that You remove all blockage, heal any damage from infection, and open his airways completely so he can breathe deeply and without pain. Lord, I ask that You guide his doctors and bless his treatment. I trust in Your power to mend what is broken and restore him to full health, in Jesus name Amen

We join you in lifting up your son to the Lord, our Great Physician, who alone holds the power to heal and restore. Your prayer is heard, and we stand with you in faith, believing that God’s mercy and grace will touch your son’s body.

Father in Heaven, we come before You with hearts full of trust in Your healing power. You are the God who knits us together in our mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13) and who numbers every hair on our heads (Matthew 10:30). You know every detail of this precious young life, and we ask that You would stretch out Your healing hand upon him. Lord, we pray for the complete restoration of his esophagus, soothe the inflammation, repair the damaged lining, and bring balance to his stomach. May Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), guard his body and mind as he endures this trial.

We also lift up his lungs and respiratory system to You, Lord. You breathed life into Adam (Genesis 2:7), and You sustain every breath we take (Job 12:10). We ask that You remove every obstruction, heal any infection, and open his airways fully. Let him breathe deeply and freely, without pain or struggle. Guide the hands and minds of his doctors, Lord, giving them wisdom and clarity as they care for him. Bless the treatments he receives, that they may work in harmony with Your divine healing.

We rebuke any spirit of fear or anxiety that may be trying to take hold in this situation. The Bible tells us, "God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind" (2 Timothy 1:7). We declare that fear has no place here, for You are our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We trust in Your promise that by Your stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we claim that healing for this young man today.

Lord, we also pray for strength and peace for his family. Give them endurance and faith as they walk this journey, and let them feel Your presence in tangible ways. Remind them that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18).

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name (Philippians 2:9), for it is only through Him that we have access to You. There is no other name by which we can be saved or healed (Acts 4:12). We thank You for the victory we have in Christ and declare that this young man will rise up in full health, giving glory to God.

Amen.

We join you in lifting up your son before the Lord. Hearing the specifics of what his body is enduring, the eroded esophagus, the labored breathing, makes our hearts ache with you. It is a heavy thing to watch your child suffer, and we can sense how desperately you long for relief.

When illness stretches on, it doesn’t just attack the body; it wears on the whole family. Even small setbacks can feel enormous, and the constant vigilance drains emotional reserves you didn’t know you had. In those moments, it is easy to feel alone or to let discouragement settle in. But you were not made to carry this by yourself. The church is meant to be a family in times like these: who can you invite to simply sit with you, listen, or help shoulder a practical need this week? That simple act can be a lifeline.

Keep doing what you are doing, staying engaged with his doctors, advocating for his care, and pouring your love into him. Your steadfast presence is a kind of medicine all its own.

Father, we come with this mother, trusting Your great compassion. We ask You to soothe the inflammation in her son’s esophagus, restore its lining, and bring peace to his stomach. Open his airways so he can breathe deeply and without pain. Give wisdom to every doctor and nurse involved in his care, and bless the treatments he receives. Hold this family close, renew their strength, and let them feel the steady support of Your people. We ask all this in Jesus’ name, Amen.

The very leaves of the tree of life are for healing, and the least thing about Christ is full of virtue for every malady. You have done well to bring your son before the throne in the name of Jesus, for healing must come from Him who took our sicknesses and bore our infirmities upon the cross. The lining of an esophagus, the passage of air in the lungs, these are small matters to the One who fashioned the body from dust and breathed into it the breath of life. Yet remember this: forgiveness and healing walk hand in hand, for when the Lord visits His people, He says, “Son, be of good cheer; your sins are forgiven you,” and the outward cure follows the inward peace.

Seek first for your son, and for yourself, that deep healing of the soul which Christ purchased with His own blood. His medicine is bitter, but He drained the cup Himself, and now there is abundance of healing power flowing from His finished work. Trust Him for the body, but cling to Him for the soul, and in His time, whether by the skill of physicians or by a direct touch of His hand, He will lift up your son from his bed of weakness. The healing point is contact with Christ; He took Peter’s wife’s mother by the hand and lifted her up, and immediately she rose to serve Him.

So it will be: when the Sun of Righteousness arises with healing in His wings, your son will not only breathe freely but his life will become a testimony of service born from the mercy he has received. Be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus, and let this trial drive you nearer to Him who heals the broken in heart and binds up their wounds. God bless you.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The prayer of a mother’s faith is never lost before the throne of God. You come asking for the healing of your son’s body, and this is right, for we are commanded to cast our cares upon the Lord. Yet consider what the Apostle reveals: that even gifts of healing, if love be absent, profit nothing. Your love is not absent; it drives you to this petition. But do not let the desire for a whole esophagus or clear lungs eclipse the greater work of a whole soul. The body is temporary; the soul is eternal. When we beg for health, we must do so with open hands, trusting not in the restoration of the stomach’s function alone, but in the Physician who permits sickness for a purpose we cannot yet see.

You say, “I trust in Your power to mend what is broken,” and this is noble. But take care that your trust does not become a demand. The power of God both punishes and heals, and His healing often comes through the hands of doctors you rightly ask Him to guide. Yet many hear the word of healing ten times and remain insensible, only to bring forth fruit later. Perhaps the fruit God seeks is not merely a body breathing deeply, but a mother and son breathing in the Spirit through this trial. Do not be like those who carry about lies they do not believe, saying they trust while anxiety chokes their faith. If you have heard the promises as if God Himself were exhorting you, then endure this peril with the same attention. True careful hearing of His word requires knowing what He is doing, not just what we want Him to do.

Therefore, continue to pray, but let your prayer be tempered. Some have the gift of healings, but not all; you have something greater if you persist in love and faith. The body’s ills are not the belly that is our god. Do not make your son’s physical relief an idol. Instead, seek first the healing of his soul, and yours, that whether the esophagus is soothed or not, you may both stand blameless. The Lord is more to be believed than your fears, and His works confirm His mercy. I am fully persuaded that such eager desire for your son’s good will not fail of its effect in God’s timing, but its greatest effect may be the eternal life won through patient submission, not the mere removal of a blockage. God shall bring to nought all that opposes His love, including disordered bodies, in His way. Rest in that, and let your “Amen” be not a conclusion, but a surrender.

I read your prayer for your son and my heart goes out to you. The love you have for him, the way you bring him before the throne of grace with such specific, tender requests, it echoes something deep and true about a father's love. The way you trust in the power of Jesus to mend what is broken is faith that honors God.

Scripture shows us a picture of a father desperate for his son's healing. You remember the nobleman who came to Jesus in Cana, pleading for his boy who lay sick miles away. Jesus spoke the word, and the fever left at that very hour. Distance was no obstacle, because the Son of God has authority over all things, the physical realm, the body's frailties, every hidden ailment. That same Jesus is alive today, and He hears your cry. He is the Son of the living God, the One who said, "The Son can do nothing of Himself, but what He sees the Father do." So when you pray in Jesus' name, you are standing on the works of the Father and the Son in perfect harmony.

I don't understand all the ways healing comes. Sometimes it's immediate, like the nobleman's son. Sometimes it's a process, a gradual mending that is no less divine. Every built-in process of restoration in the human body was designed by the Creator, and when doctors bring wisdom and treatment, it is still His hand at work. In your son's esophagus, his lungs, his airways, God can work through both miracle and medicine. Trust His timing, and know that any healing, however it unfolds, comes from Him.

Think of how the Father loves the Son. He declared, "This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased." And yet He gave that only begotten Son as a sacrifice for us. Your own love for your son, the way you lift him up daily, is a faint reflection of that eternal love. When you come to the Father through Jesus, you are approaching the One who did not spare His own Son but gave Him up for us all. How will He not also, through that Son, graciously care for your son now? He knows the ache of a parent's heart. He knows what it is to give that which is most precious.

There is mystery in why some are healed immediately and others walk a longer road. I cannot unravel that. But I know this: the Son of God is not distant. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Those who came to Him with sickness found in Him a heart moved with compassion and hands that held all authority. The centurion at the cross looked at the broken body of Jesus and declared, "Truly this was the Son of God." Even in that moment, redemption was being purchased for us, and healing, spiritual and physical, was secured in the great transaction.

So continue to cry out to the Father. Do not let your heart be fainthearted. The enemy would love to twist this trial into despair, but God's own Son has defeated every darkness. Keep claiming the promises. Keep speaking the truth that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the living God, and that by believing you have life in His name. Your son is held in that same love.

Heavenly Father, You who gave Your only Son for us, look upon this dear parent and their son. Soothe the inflamed tissue, restore what is damaged, open the airways completely. Guide the doctors with skill and insight. Let this son breathe deeply and without pain, and let this family see Your delivering power. We ask in the mighty name of Jesus, the Son of God, who lives to intercede for us. Amen.
