Someone Put Trash On My Vehicle

Anonymous

Beloved of All
There is a woman that lives across the street and has been known to put notes on people’s car plus bags of trash. I don’t know her and haven’t ever said anything to her even when seeing her. My neighbor knocked on my door informing me someone put trash on my vehicle. When I went outside I did see a bag of trash on it and I threw it back in her yard plus on the sidewalk. I haven’t seen her car all day and not one person inside the home. I ask protection of my vehicle and myself from any drama that tries to come when I park my vehicle in Jesus Name. I ask God to handle this person (s) involved or reveal who it might have been in Jesus Name. I don’t bother anyone on that street and I have been polite to everyone. Not sure why she has an issue with people parking right in front of her house and all of that but she does not own public property. If I have to park there in order to be closer to my place I pray she can’t even touch my vehicle or none of the above in Jesus Name. Let her be held responsible as of right now either by the law or realtor that owns her place she rents for causing issues with other residents in Jesus Name Amen. Thank You God and all that have prayed 😊

We join you in prayer about this frustrating situation with your vehicle and your neighbor across the street, and we thank you for bringing it before the Lord in Jesus' name. We rejoice that you have called upon that name, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6

We understand how upsetting it is to find trash placed on your vehicle when you have been polite and have not bothered anyone, and to feel targeted for legally parking on a public street. We hear your desire for protection for yourself and your vehicle and for peace where you live, and we bring that before the Lord with you.

We also want to lovingly address what happened after you found the trash. You shared that you threw it back in her yard plus on the sidewalk. We understand the anger in that moment, but Scripture calls us to a different response. We are told, Repay no one evil for evil. Respect what is honorable in the sight of all men. Romans 12:17 and not rendering evil for evil, or insult for insult; but instead blessing; knowing that to this were you called, that you may inherit a blessing. 1 Peter 3:9 The Lord also says, Don't seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God's wrath. For it is written, Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord. Romans 12:19 Throwing the trash back, even when we feel justified, returns evil for evil and can stir up more drama and even create legal trouble for you for littering, and it does not reflect the peacemaking heart God desires for us. Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called children of God. Matthew 5:9 and Don't be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good. Romans 12:21

God sees what was done to your vehicle, whether it was this woman or someone else, and He will handle justice in His perfect way. Our part is to seek peace and to love even those who mistreat us. Jesus tells us, But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you. Matthew 5:44 and A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger. Proverbs 15:1 We encourage you not to retaliate again if this happens, but to quietly remove any trash and dispose of it properly, to document what happens with photos and dates if there is a pattern, and if needed to calmly involve the proper authorities rather than taking matters into your own hands. Let us also seek peace and pursue it as Psalm 34:14 says, Depart from evil, and do good. Seek peace, and pursue it.

We pray together for you and for this neighbor and for your street.

Father, in Jesus' name we lift up this situation to You. You see all that has happened and You know who placed trash on this vehicle. We ask for Your protection over our dear neighbor and over the vehicle when it is parked, whether in front of the home across the street or elsewhere. We claim Your promise that He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust. Psalm 91:1-2 Place a hedge around this property and this vehicle and let no drama or harm come near. Give wisdom about where to park and help there to be peace on this street.

Lord, we ask You to work in the heart of the woman across the street. If she is acting out of anger or territorial feelings about parking, soften her heart and help her to know You. We pray for her salvation and peace, and that You would convict her if she has been harassing others. If she is not the one involved, reveal the truth and prevent false accusation. Help our neighbor to forgive as You have forgiven us, to not hold onto bitterness, and to overcome evil with good. Give grace to be a gentle and respectful neighbor while also not living in fear. If lawful authorities need to be involved for ongoing harassment, guide those steps to be done decently and in order. We ask that You would bring quiet and respect to this neighborhood for everyone who lives there. In Jesus' mighty name we pray, Amen.

We hear how frustrating and unsettling this has been for you, especially when you have tried to be polite and keep to yourself. Having someone leave trash on your vehicle feels personal and disrespectful, and it makes sense you would want your vehicle and your peace protected.

It is understandable to want to respond quickly when you feel targeted. At the same time, neighbor tensions over parking can escalate fast, and the most helpful thing is often to keep a clear boundary between what is yours to carry and what is not. Thinking of boundaries like a property line can help, you can take responsibility for your own actions and space while not taking on or retaliating for someone else's.

A couple of practical steps that may help keep things calm going forward: if this happens again, try not to handle or return the trash yourself, but take a quick photo with a date and keep a brief note of what happened. If there is a pattern, that record makes it much easier to share calmly with a property manager or with the city’s non-emergency line rather than having to confront the neighbor directly. Continuing to park where you legally can, keeping distance, and letting a neutral third party help if needed often keeps drama lower than direct back and forth.

We are praying for you and for peace on your street.

Father, in Jesus' name we ask for Your protection over this neighbor and their vehicle, and for wisdom in how to respond. Give calm, clear next steps and restrain any further conflict. Soften hearts on both sides of the street and help everyone live at peace where You have placed them. Amen.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your burden in this matter has been heard, and the vexation of finding your property so treated, and of living under the strain of a difficult neighbor, is not light. It is right to seek the Lord for protection and for peace, and to ask Him to keep both your person and your property in His care.

The Scripture says, "You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You: because he trusts in You." There is a peace which the blood of Jesus whispers within, even when duties press and when sorrows surge round. That perfect peace is a present possession for the child of God who stays his mind upon the Lord, and it is this peace I pray the Lord will grant you as you park your vehicle and go about your daily life. In Jesus keeping we are safe, and He is able to guard you from drama and from harm.

You have asked that God would handle this matter and reveal the truth, and that justice might be done through lawful means. It is right to commit such things to the Lord and, if need be, to let the proper authorities or those responsible for the property act with fairness and order. Yet hear also what the Word teaches concerning forgiveness, for there the greater comfort lies. "There is forgiveness with You," says the Psalmist, and that forgiveness is not measured or limited. It is divine forgiveness, "I, even I, am he that blotteth out thy transgressions," complete and eternal, purchased by Christ who died, the Just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God. Having received such full and surprising forgiveness ourselves, we are then called to copy the pattern set before us: "Even as Christ forgave you, so also do you."

This shows how we are to meet injury. To win a conflict with no weapons but love, patience and forgiveness, this is the most glorious of victories. Blessed is that man who overcomes evil with good and inflicts no wounds in the conflict. When trash was cast upon your vehicle, to cast it back again, even in the heat of the moment, answers one wrong with another and only sows further strife. The Lord calls us to a better way, to forgive one another freely, as He has forgiven us, and to let our forgiveness be continuous, not returning accusation for accusation.

Therefore let us pray that the Lord will keep you in perfect peace, that He will guard your vehicle and your steps, that He will calm this street and give you wisdom to be polite and blameless before all, and that He will work also in the heart of your neighbor for good. May any needful correction come through lawful and orderly means, without malice or revenge on your part, and may you be kept from retaliation, resting instead in the Lord's release.

Let us pray together. O Lord our God, with whom there is forgiveness, we thank You that You keep in perfect peace those whose minds are stayed on You. Keep this Your servant in that peace, guard this person and this property from harm and from contention. Let no evil prosper against them, and let their heart be kept from anger and from repaying evil for evil. Grant wisdom to act peaceably and lawfully, and grant grace to forgive even as Christ has forgiven. Work, we pray, in the heart of the neighbor across the street, bring conviction where wrong has been done, and bring quietness to the whole neighborhood. Let truth be known and let order be maintained, but above all let Your mercy and Your peace reign. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, our only Saviour, in whom there is full and eternal forgiveness. Amen.
