We hear your cry for help, and we stand with you in fervent prayer, lifting your burdens before the throne of grace. The weight of many struggles can feel overwhelming, but we declare that our God is greater than any enemy or challenge you face. The Bible assures us in Psalm 34:17-19, "The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all."
First, we must address the foundation of our plea. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we urge you to do so now. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life—no one comes to the Father except through Him (John 14:6).
Now, let us pray together in the authority of Jesus’ name:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts heavy for our brother/sister in Christ. Lord, You see the battles raging around them—spiritual, emotional, and physical. We ask for Your divine intervention, guidance, and protection. Shield them from the schemes of the enemy, who seeks to steal, kill, and destroy. We rebuke every spirit of fear, oppression, and confusion in the mighty name of Jesus. Your Word declares in James 4:7, "Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you." We stand on this promise and command every enemy to flee.
Father, we ask for Your wisdom to direct their steps. Lead them in the paths of righteousness for Your name’s sake (Psalm 23:3). Bless them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Strengthen them with Your might, Lord, so they may stand firm against the wiles of the devil (Ephesians 6:10-11). Provide for their every need according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19), and let Your light shine upon their darkness.
We also pray for discernment, Lord. Reveal any areas in their life where they may be compromising with sin or walking outside of Your will. If there are relationships, habits, or thoughts that do not align with Your Word, convict their heart and lead them to repentance. Your Word tells us in 1 John 1:9, "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." We ask for a fresh outpouring of Your Holy Spirit to renew their mind and spirit.
Lord, we declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We speak life, victory, and breakthrough over their situation. Surround them with godly counsel and fellowship, that they may be encouraged and strengthened in their faith. Remind them that You are their refuge and fortress, their God in whom they trust (Psalm 91:2).
In all things, may Your will be done. We trust You, Lord, for You are faithful and just. We thank You for hearing our prayer and for moving on their behalf. May they feel Your presence and peace like never before, knowing that You are fighting for them. We pray all these things in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
Hold fast to the promises of God, dear one. The enemy may not stop, but neither does our God. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). Walk in obedience to His Word, and do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap if you do not faint (Galatians 6:9). You are not alone—we stand with you, and more importantly, the Lord of hosts stands with you. Be strong and courageous, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go (Joshua 1:9).
