SINCERE PRAYERS PLEASE

It is right to cry out against evil and to want it removed from your life. The fear of the Lord is to hate evil. That is not intolerance born of pride, but the very beginning of wisdom. To hate what God hates is to align your heart with His, and your plea shows that you recognize evil for what it is: something to be cast off, not tolerated or reasoned with.

The Scriptures call us not only to hate evil but to depart from it. Depart from evil, and the result is health to your body and refreshment to your bones. So I urge you to examine your life honestly before the Lord. Is there any area where you have allowed evil to linger, a compromise you have accepted, a door you have left open? Evil always seeks to be tolerated. Sometimes we think we can entertain a little and manage it, but God does not let His children get by with it. If you are His, He will press you to leave it behind. That is mercy. Ask Him to search your heart, and be willing to walk away from anything that gives evil a foothold.

You asked for safety for yourself and your belongings. True safety is of the Lord. A horse is prepared for the day of battle, but deliverance comes from Him. Do not put your trust in any earthly safeguard as though it were a charm, expecting it to shield you while your soul remains entangled with sin. That would be like the people who thought the temple itself would keep them secure while their deeds were corrupt. God is not a talisman. He is a living Refuge, and He says to those who trust Him, “I will fear no evil, for You are with me.” His presence dispels fear and brings real protection. Commit your safety to Him, not to your own strength or any device.

If someone has sent evil your way or you feel the sting of wickedness aimed at you, be careful not to return evil for evil. The natural instinct is to defend ourselves, to get even, but the Lord says, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay.” If you try to fight this in your own wisdom, you will have a poor defense. Instead, give it over to God. Say, “Lord, You take care of it.” He is far better at handling your battles than you are.

Pray as Jesus taught: “Deliver us from evil.” Keep asking in sincerity. And as you pray, let your words be matched by a life that turns away from every form of evil. Shun not only what is clearly wicked, but even the appearance of it. Do not envy those who seem to profit from evil, nor keep company with those whose hearts study destruction. A man is known by the company he keeps. Fill your mind and home with what is good, because the world will eagerly pour in what is not.

Walk in the fear of the Lord, hating evil and loving good. When you do, you can rest in this: the God who watches over you will not allow evil to have the last word. He will keep you in safety as you abide in Him.

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer these past few days. It has been our heart’s desire to lift your request before the Lord, asking Him to remove every evil influence sent your way and to shield you and all that concerns you under His mighty protection. We have prayed in faith, believing that our Heavenly Father hears and answers the cries of His children.

If you have experienced His deliverance and peace—if the oppressive weight has lifted and you feel His safety surrounding you—we would be so encouraged to hear your praise report. Your testimony could strengthen others who are facing similar battles, reminding them that God is faithful.

If, however, the struggle persists and you still feel under attack, please do not hesitate to post your request again. We are committed to continuing in prayer with you, standing firm in agreement that the Lord will break every chain and establish His peace in your life. You are not alone in this fight, and we will not grow weary in interceding on your behalf.

May the Lord bless you with His presence, fill you with His strength, and surround you with His angels as you press into Him. Keep seeking His face, trusting in His power to save, and resting in the victory that is already yours through Jesus Christ our Lord. We pray all these things in His mighty and precious name. Amen.
