Sickness and theft

Please pray for my mother, who is suffering from depression, headaches, dizziness, and a sore throat due to the theft of money. Please pray for her healing and restoration of money in Jesus' name, and that she repays whatever she owes to people, including debts.

My mother is super nervous. Please pray for peace, patience, and understanding for her.

Update: It seems that my mother was willing to pay most of her debts, but she still has other financial obligations to fulfil. Thank God for His everlasting mercies, and please continue to pray that He softens my mother's heart and makes her more generous. Thank you for your fervent and heartfelt prayers.

Update: My mother is heartbroken. It seems that the bank's deadline has passed, but we are hoping that she will get the stolen money back tomorrow, by the new deadline. Please pray that there is no further delay in Jesus' name.

Update: The promised money has not yet been transferred to her bank account. Please pray in Jesus' name for the swift transfer of funds.

Update: Thank God, a partial refund was provided this week, but it and more were immediately stolen from the bank account. Please pray in Jesus' name that the refunds will be transferred to a safe account that the thief cannot access.

Update: Thank God! My mother has found a drug that is starting to help heal one of her illnesses. Praise the Lord! We are still waiting for the police and the bank to process the refunds.

God's mercies endure forever! AMEN

This theft has left us feeling deeply upset. The bank and the police promised it would take a maximum of 15–30 days to resolve, but 60 days have now passed. We have many expenses to pay and we need this money back.

We lift up your mother and your family before the Lord, knowing that He is the God of all comfort, healing, and justice. It is clear that this season has brought not only physical suffering—depression, headaches, dizziness, and a sore throat—but also deep emotional and financial distress due to theft and unresolved debts. Yet we serve a God who is sovereign over all things, who sees the wickedness of thieves and the anguish of the afflicted, and who promises to be our Provider, Healer, and Redeemer.

The Scripture assures us in **Psalm 34:17-19 (WEB):**
*"The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears,
and delivers them out of all their troubles.
Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart,
and saves those who have a crushed spirit.
Many are the afflictions of the righteous,
but Yahweh delivers him out of them all."*

Your mother’s nervousness and heartbreak are understood by the Lord, who collects every tear in His bottle (**Psalm 56:8**). We pray that He would wrap her in His peace, which surpasses all understanding (**Philippians 4:6-7**), and grant her patience as she waits on His timing. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (**John 10:10**), but Christ has overcome the world, and we declare that no weapon formed against her will prosper (**Isaiah 54:17**).

We also take note of the financial bondage and the delays in justice. The Word of God commands us in **Romans 13:8 (WEB):** *"Owe no one anything, except to love one another; for he who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the law."* It is right to pray for the restoration of what was stolen, but we also encourage your mother to seek the Lord’s wisdom in managing her obligations. If there are debts that can be repaid, even in part, let her do so with a willing heart, trusting that God will honor her faithfulness. **Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB)** reminds us:
*"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart,
and don’t lean on your own understanding.
In all your ways acknowledge him,
and he will make your paths straight."*

Yet we must also address the spiritual battle at hand. The repeated thefts—even from the refunded amounts—suggest that the enemy is actively seeking to deepen despair and financial ruin. This is not a time for passivity but for spiritual warfare. **Ephesians 6:12 (WEB)** tells us, *"For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."* We must stand firm in prayer, binding the works of the thief and declaring that no further harm will come to your mother’s finances. Let her transfer all funds to a secure account, covered by the blood of Jesus, and let every scheme of the enemy be exposed and thwarted.

We praise God for the partial healing your mother has experienced through medication, and we pray for complete restoration of her body, mind, and spirit. **Jeremiah 30:17 (WEB)** declares:
*"For I will restore health to you,
and I will heal you of your wounds," says Yahweh.*

As for the delays with the bank and police, we rebuked the spirit of injustice and corruption that would prolong her suffering. **Isaiah 61:8 (WEB)** says, *"For I, Yahweh, love justice. I hate robbery and iniquity."* We pray that every person involved in this process would be moved by the conviction of the Holy Spirit to act with integrity and urgency. Let no more deadlines pass in vain, but let the full refund be released *immediately*, in Jesus’ name.

Finally, we exhort your family to hold fast to faith, even in this trial. **Hebrews 10:35-36 (WEB)** encourages us:
*"Don’t throw away your confidence, which has a great reward. For you need endurance so that, having done the will of God, you may receive the promise."*

Let this season draw your mother closer to Christ, where she finds her true security—not in money, but in Him. May she experience the generosity of God’s heart so profoundly that it overflows into her own life, making her cheerful in giving (**2 Corinthians 9:7**) and trusting in His provision.

**Our Prayer:**
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this dear mother who is weary in body, mind, and spirit. Lord, You are the Great Physician—touch her with Your healing hand. Remove every headache, dizziness, and pain from her throat. Lift the depression that weighs her down and replace it with Your joy, which is her strength (**Nehemiah 8:10**).

We bind the spirit of theft that has plagued her finances and declare that *no more* will be stolen from her. Let every cent that was taken be restored *sevenfold* (**Proverbs 6:31**), and let it be transferred into a secure account that the enemy cannot touch. Expose the thief, Lord, and bring them to repentance or justice. Softens the hearts of those at the bank and in authority, that they may act swiftly and righteously to resolve this matter *today*.

Father, we ask for supernatural peace to guard your daughter’s heart as she waits. Remove all anxiety and replace it with trust in Your perfect timing. Give her wisdom to manage her debts honorably, and provide for every need—whether through restored funds, unexpected blessings, or divine connections. Let this trial be a testimony of Your faithfulness.

We rebuke every delay, every lie of the enemy that says, *"It’s too late,"* or *"You’ll never recover."* You, Lord, are the God of sudden breakthroughs. Let Your favor surround her like a shield (**Psalm 5:12**). Strengthen her faith to believe that what You have promised, You are able to perform (**Romans 4:21**).

And Father, we pray for salvation—if there is anyone in your family who does not yet know Jesus as Lord, let this trial lead them to the cross. May your mother’s heart be so filled with Your love that generosity flows from her, not out of obligation, but out of worship.

We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your power to turn this situation around for Your glory. In the mighty and matchless name of **Jesus Christ**, our Redeemer, we pray. **Amen.**
