Sickness and theft!!

Please pray for my mother, who is suffering from depression, headaches, dizziness, and a sore throat due to the theft of money. Please pray for her healing and restoration of money in Jesus' name, and that she repays whatever she owes to people, including debts.

My mother is super nervous. Please pray for peace, patience, and understanding for her.

Update: It seems that my mother was willing to pay most of her debts, but she still has other financial obligations to fulfil. Thank God for His everlasting mercies, and please continue to pray that He softens my mother's heart and makes her more generous. Thank you for your fervent and heartfelt prayers.

Update: My mother is heartbroken. It seems that the bank's deadline has passed, but we are hoping that she will get the stolen money back tomorrow, by the new deadline. Please pray that there is no further delay in Jesus' name.

Update: The promised money has not yet been transferred to her bank account. Please pray in Jesus' name for the swift transfer of funds.

Update: Thank God, a partial refund was provided this week, but it and more were immediately stolen from the bank account. Please pray in Jesus' name that the refunds will be transferred to a safe account that the thief cannot access.

Update: Thank God! My mother has found a drug that is starting to help heal one of her illnesses. Praise the Lord! We are still waiting for the police and the bank to process the refunds.

This theft has left us feeling deeply upset. The bank and the police promised it would take a maximum of 15–30 days to resolve, but 60 days have now passed. We have many expenses to pay and we need this money back.

We lift up your mother and this entire situation before the Lord, knowing that He is a God of justice, healing, and provision. It is clear that the enemy has sought to attack your family through both physical affliction and financial theft, but we stand firm in the truth that our God is greater. You have rightly invoked the name of Jesus in your requests, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and the authority to overcome the schemes of the devil. As Scripture declares, *"There is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, by which we must be saved"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). Let us hold fast to this truth as we bring these burdens before the throne of grace.

First, we address the spiritual and emotional toll this ordeal has taken on your mother. Depression, anxiety, and physical sickness often go hand in hand, and we see how the stress of this theft has exacerbated her suffering. Yet the Word of God assures us that *"the Lord is close to the brokenhearted, and saves those who are crushed in spirit"* (Psalm 34:18, WEB). We pray that the Holy Spirit would wrap your mother in His peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and that He would lift the burden of fear and despair from her. May she find rest in the promise that *"he who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ"* (Philippians 1:6, WEB). We rebuke the spirits of anxiety, depression, and infirmity in Jesus’ name, commanding them to flee from her mind and body. *"By his stripes, we are healed"* (Isaiah 53:5, WEB), and we claim that healing over her headaches, dizziness, and sore throat. May the medication she is taking be effective by God’s grace, and may her body be restored to full strength.

Financially, this theft has brought not only loss but also delay and further hardship. It is deeply unjust, and we cry out to the Lord, who is a *"father of the fatherless, and a defender of the widows"* (Psalm 68:5, WEB). We pray for the full restoration of what was stolen, and we ask God to expose and bring to justice those responsible. *"The Lord executes righteous acts, and justice for all who are oppressed"* (Psalm 103:6, WEB). We also pray for wisdom and favor as you navigate the bank and legal processes. May God move mightily in the hearts of those in authority, causing them to act with integrity and urgency. *"The king’s heart is in Yahweh’s hand like the water courses. He turns it wherever he desires"* (Proverbs 21:1, WEB). We ask that the remaining funds be transferred swiftly and securely to an account that cannot be accessed by thieves. Let no weapon formed against your family prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and let the Lord turn this situation around for your good and His glory.

We also commend your mother’s willingness to repay her debts, for this aligns with the heart of God. Scripture teaches us, *"Owe no one anything, except to love one another; for he who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the law"* (Romans 13:8, WEB). We pray that God would continue to soften her heart, not only to fulfill her obligations but to do so with generosity and joy. May He provide the means for her to be a blessing to others, even in this difficult season. *"Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over, will be given to you. For with the same measure you measure it will be measured back to you"* (Luke 6:38, WEB).

Lastly, we encourage you both to guard your hearts against bitterness and discouragement. The delay in justice can feel overwhelming, but we must trust in God’s timing. *"Don’t be anxious for anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:6-7, WEB). Let this trial draw you closer to the Lord and to one another. Remember that *"we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose"* (Romans 8:28, WEB).

**Our Prayer:**
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this family and their deep needs. Lord, we ask for Your healing touch upon this mother—restore her body, mind, and spirit. Rebuke the spirits of depression, anxiety, and sickness, and let Your peace reign in her heart. You are Jehovah-Rapha, the God who heals, and we trust You to bring complete restoration.

We cry out for justice, Lord. You see the wickedness that has been done, and we ask that You would expose the thief and bring swift repayment for what was stolen. Move in the hearts of those at the bank and in the police force, Lord, and cause them to act with urgency and integrity. Protect the remaining funds and ensure they are transferred to a secure account where no further harm can be done.

Father, we thank You for the partial refund that has already come, and we ask for the full restoration of all that was taken. Provide for every financial need—let no bill go unpaid, and let Your provision be evident in this family’s life. Soften this mother’s heart to be generous and faithful in all her dealings, and may her testimony bring glory to Your name.

Lord, we rebuke the spirit of delay and frustration that has tried to take root. Let patience, trust, and gratitude fill their hearts as they wait on You. Remind them that You are their Provider, their Healer, and their Justice. Strengthen their faith, and let them see Your hand moving powerfully in this situation.

We declare that no weapon formed against this family shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment shall be condemned (Isaiah 54:17). Let this trial be turned to triumph, and let Your name be exalted through it all.

We're claiming Psalm 147:3 over your mother right now - "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." We're believing for the full refund to be transferred to a safe account, and we're trusting God to provide for every financial need.

We're also claiming Psalm 34:18 - "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." We're believing for God's comfort and peace to surround your mother, and for her to find rest in Him.
